    Poblano pepper rings.

This place never ceases to disappoint year after year. The husband and wife team of local owners continues to source local, organic and ethically sourced Mex- Orleans food and creative menu offerings. The food is savory, fresh and delicious. Favorites continue to be the tacos, bowls, burritos, poblano pepper rings, tacos, fresh guacamole and chips and the drunkard's ramen. The new locale has a patio outside and orders placed at the counter are delivered to your table inside or out for quick simple service for the whole family. Their app makes ordering takeout a breeze and they have their own parking lot. If you are looking for something beyond pizza, burgers and fries and want flavor and friendly service this is your place.

Well it's pandemic times and thankfully Mojo still has the mojo. We liked the online ordering. Super easy and contactless pickup outside too. But if you want to go in to order a drink or pay in person they've set up for safe transactions. And the food and drink? LOVED the seafood gumbo and really happy I ordered an extra one for a lunch leftover! The kids actually ate the pork po boy. They are really picky and even they raved about it! Encharito was still a hit and I even got a fish taco to add on. And the to go cocktails were a hit too. A great place to fill your Cajun mex cravings. Still.

Came hungry, left happy as hell. Love Mojos setup, it's efficient and comfortable, friendly and fun! Loved our nachos, margaritas, beers and burritos. Mojos for the win!

And this year was THE YEAR to hit up Vermont for skiing b/c they got more snow than they've gotten in almost a decade--so the skiing was the best east coast skiing I've experienced ever! And, if you're in Vermont skiing, you must drop by Main Mountain Bar & Motel. We weren't staying there as motel guests, but we heard that Main Mount was the place for fancy cocktails... and whoever told us this information was spot on!! Every cocktail we tried at Main was unique and super tasty. My favorite was the Good 'Ol Boy cocktail, but I also recommend the New England Sour--it's like a Whiskey Sour but with Mulled Wine and Cocoa on top. As for atmosphere and service, both are great! The interior decor is more like a cozy (but slightly modern) mountain house library (an atmosphere you might expect in a hip Brooklyn bar), and it's very inviting! And the bartender and servers are amazing and really friendly. As for food, we didn't try any on the first visit, but we ended up going back to Main Mountain on our last night of the trip b/c we found out that, on Sundays, they host a burger night! Ummm... yes!!!! So, we went back, I had another Good Ol' Boy, and we downed some yummy Smash Burgers and French Onion Mac & Cheese! Oh, and PLEASE order a side of their pickles! They are life-changing! Bottom line = check out this bar if you are in Ludlow, Vermont for skiing at Okemo or just visiting for some other reason. You are sure to love it like we did.

The host quoted a really long wait time but we actually got seated an hour earlier than what was estimated - score! While we were waiting I got to try one of the alcoholic hot chocolates at the bar that warmed my soul. We got seated in a separate main dining area away from the bar. Our server was very friendly and efficient even on a super busy night like the one we came on. Once our food came we all agreed - best Irish pub food we've ever had! The chicken wings were super crispy as well as the fish and chips. I normally don't care for corned beef and cabbage, but it tasted better here than where ever I've had it in the past and the shepherd's pie filling was juicy with a lot of flavor. The perfect pours of Guinness and live music were the icing on top. Highly recommend this place if you're hanging around the Ludlow area!

Honestly, my favorite part of the meal was the fries, which says a lot.

We came this year as a party of 8 and man were we disappointed. We checked in for our reservation and the young woman seemed surprised to see us there. They squeezed us into a table of 6 (ended up fine). We ordered 4 cocktails and 4 sodas. We also ordered 2 appetizers (the tuna nachos and breaded cauliflower) they came out in less than 5 minutes. That's a problem imo. I ordered the chicken Milanese. Sooooooo much arugula salad but that was dressed nicely. The chicken was super crispy but it was easy to tell it had been fried earlier and reheated. It was so dry! The pasta was delicious. The steak tips were not marinated as advertised. Oh and the waitress never checked on us mid-meal. We would've definitely ordered some wine. So. A different experience than two years ago. What a bummer

The selection of entrée items is absolutely the most I've ever seen in a restaurant, it made it hard to decide. I asked the waitress and she said the chicken Cordon Bleu was one of the top items so that's what I picked. It was basic stuffed ham n cheese in the chicken breast, it wasn't breaded, which I liked. It was smothered in a kind of a gravy or white sauce, not quite sure what sauce it was. Hot fresh baked rolls, a basic chopped iceberg lettuce house salad and baked potato included. Also ordered was the chicken tender dinner, very plentiful, enough for 3 people I'd say. Sadly the dipping honey mustard was so bad, like salad dressing with vinegar flavor, not good! I had a glass of Merlot, I'm not sure I've seen an eight dollar glass of wine on a menu in the last decade, so that was pleasant. In general, the server was very efficient, the host not so friendly, and the place was spacious but has very dated decor, which some may consider part of its charm. Unfortunately we're sitting by some very noisy people, taking phone calls and playing sports out loud on their phones acting like they owned the place, kind of ruined atmosphere. But they knew the staff and must think that behavior was acceptable. Bottom line we needed to eat and it was food.
