I was helped by Kevin. Kevin made the process quick and simple. He ran my credit prior to me making the drive & let me know what I was approved for. Originally I wanted the g7x but was okay with anything similar. He recommended me another camera which was the sx740 & I've been loving this camera & the price difference was huge! Upon arrival, the store was clean & the atmosphere was very welcoming by all staff. A lot of parking and right by the freeway exit. 0% interest if you pay in full by 3 months. What a great deal. Thank you to everyone at mojos camera!

Thanks Mike for the response. I think the issue is that your response is a lie. You see, I went and checked the item multiple times, for multiple days after and it was still for sale. In fact, it still is. The difference is, the price is a lot higher. Had you been honest about the mistake you guys made on your end, I'd have removed the review. Unfortunately, you were not honest and made up something that was clearly a lie. It's better to just be honest. The product was not sold out and is still in stock. So yeah, nice try. I did get my refund back though. No thanks to you guys.

[RESPONSE TO OWNER COMMENT]: The camera was indeed BOUGHT used from a more respectable camera store than this one, I probably used it for a mere couple hours and all the warranty documents were handed to HER the day I got this insulting offer. Point of the matter is that you made assumptions based off whatever targeted discrimination you had against me and I took my business elsewhere. (Btw I had called for an inquiry of this specific model camera a couple months ago and the USED camera they had was listed at around $1,400). I would also like to add that the owner only replied when he got a notification that my review was being shown as the featured listing when people search this store, just so you get the general idea of how this business operates. Pleasure not doing business with you! ___________________________________________________ If you don't want your intelligence insulted please go to a more honest and ethical camera store. As I was walking around waiting 30 minutes for my "appraisal" I heard some of the worst deals and product knowledge of my life... (background, I've grown up tweaking and building PCs for most of my life, got into the whole streaming era/gaming and what not, have a boyfriend who's into photography and is an audiophile as well) and the way they rip off their customers should be illegal. They probably pissed off quite a few people because they kept getting ghost called every five minutes with no one on the line while I was there. This place should probably be your last resort unless you have poor credit history or no other option, this might be the equivalent of letting your gf go to the mechanic and getting her oil changed on her own. Please take someone with you who knows their stuff cause you'll end up paying for things you don't even need under the guise of a "deal". Back to my personal experience, this guy was telling me all he could offer was $550 and it took every ounce of will to not burst out laughing. He also said that the camera I was selling (g7x mark ii) is selling for $800 new... News flash you can't get this new.. they no longer manufacture these. This camera is more sought out than their newer version (mark iii) thanks to Tik tok. Every camera store is selling them used for $1,300 and he was on the phone with my bf telling him to not worry about what he'd sell it for. Which would apparently be $800. Anyways I had only called my bf to giggle at the audacity, I asked for my phone back since this grown man had started yelling and I don't do business with unprofessional people. Since he's flustered over being caught in a lie. He smashes the camera box onto the desk in the process of trying to hand it back, the camera box that doesn't have my camera in a protective case.. and his oddly dented head is now red with rage. Before I parted ways, I told him thanks for wasting my time.. which he did. He initially asked me how much I wanted for it. I said at least $850, he started complaining about "water marks" I told him that he's mistaken. Those are just marks of when I recently cleaned it with an electronic wipe and they didn't fully dry.. and reminded him that nobody is selling these cameras new anymore as they're no longer being manufactured. As well as the fact that camera stores are selling them USED for no less than $1,300 Anyways just finished selling it to my bf friend for $900 and the only thing I wish I could do was get back my time that was wasted and asked for a name so I didn't have to post a picture of him. Sell on offer up!!! Don't sell to these shady businesses with over emotional grown men.

Customer Receipt of getting scammed at Mojo Cameras

AVOID THIS STORE AT ALL COSTS. I don't normally leave reviews but this store is scammy, dishonest, and has truly terrible customer service. Also all of their equipment can be found at other stores for much cheaper (just do a google search, they mark up everything!). I spent $4000 on equipment here, and the manager upsold me SD cards that are not compatible with the equipment I bought. When I asked, he assured me they are the best SD cards on the market and will absolutely work (of course this was not at all true). Of course, a day later upon learning that the SD cards are too slow and incompatible (despite their high price) I tried to return them (untouched, still in packaging). When I returned to the store, I had to wait for 45 minutes just to speak with the manager, because apparently he is the only one that can "choose" to accept returns. When I spoke with him he was extremely rude and continued to lie to me about the quality of the SD cards. He then told me that they do not accept any returns. Terrible experience. Go somewhere else to buy camera equipment. These guys are as bad and dishonest as it gets.

The two screen shots I posted were 30 minutes apart. $1849.99 before I walked in, $1899.99 after I purchased and fell for their argument that the lower price was for a pre-owned lens. Somehow the website magically changed. Also this is not an authorized Canon dealer, so no Canon warranty. Only the Mojo warranty. Which they verbally said was a year, but the paperwork says is 90 days. All sales are final. Read the terms before you sign, which I did not do. Usually grey market means better pricing. That's not the case here. Should have gotten a clue from the multiple Mercedes parked outside when I drove up.

Tony was really helpful since I first called the store. I asked if they had the camera I wanted and they did so I made the drive. I'm so glad I did. He got me all the accessories I needed and I even got an Apple Watch for my boyfriend too. The financing is a really easy process and trust me I don't have good credit and you don't need to here either. As long as you have a bank account you can get approved easily ! I found this store on Yelp and it's near my house so I decided to go in. I was initially going to go to a big store, however, sometimes they don't often provide good customer service and sometimes you have to look around for someone to help you. Not here! When I walked in I was greeted by Paul and he immediately asked if I was looking for something in particular. I let him know I was looking for a starting camera. He showed me three and let me see for myself the quality of the pictures. He asked me what I needed the camera for, what my budget was, and if I had any particular brand in mind. I purchased a camera today and I am very happy! They do have a lease to own option and it is 0% if you pay it within 3 months and are approved for it. I decided to try it out and Paul explained it thoroughly and made sure I understood. He also helped me download the app and showed me how to make payments. I am sure I could have figured it out on my own but I appreciated that Paul took the time to help me. I am very happy that I went here and will be referring others. I didn't look at everything they have but I did see they have drones, cameras, monitors, and VR sets. I can't wait to use my camera! read more

As a commercial DP I've been going to Mojo for 7 years now. They always have competitive prices, the newest items in stock usually the day they drop and 90% of the items they have you can't finally anywhere in OC or LA. (Ronin 4D's, RED Komodo X's, Tilta hydra arms, Nanlite products, cine lenses,etc) I've been in pinches before needing an EZ Rig for a Lamborghini commercial and they had it next day. They also listen to what their customers want and keep up with the trends. read more

Had such a great experience here! We came in looking for a specific camera and wound up buying an additional selfie stick due to Eric's awesome knowledge. He knows his stuff! If you're in media/production and are looking to get gear.. THIS IS THE PLACE!! We were looking to purchase the Red camera and needed to purchase it for a music video the following day and MOJO CAMERAS MADE IT HAPPEN! They made calls and arranged for a special deliver & had it overnighted the next day just in time! Be careful with these guys! They advertised a combo drone package but won't honor the advertised price. And if you do order from the website and get mislead, they have a no return policy (wonder why??). From their website: Mojo Cameras & Computers does not offer refunds or returns of any kind on any items offered onsite/online. Don't know if this is standard practice on all items they sell but it was true for me. Just be aware of companies that use bait and switch advertising!! NOT GOOD!! read more

Are you into tech? As soon as I walked into the business, I was immediately greeted by the employees and I took my time browsing around the shop. Then an employee asked if I was looking into something particular, he immediately helped me look for a FujiFilm & let me hold the actual camera. He proceeded to let me know if I had any questions before making my purchase. The transaction went smooth and he was very friendly as well. He was very knowledgeable with the items they have in store and the current trends/pricing of everything. Arrived at this location to purchase a canon r7. The owner had posted the item on offer up for a great deal. I asked if he would honor the deal in person and he said yes. I drove about 30 miles for him to give me a totally different price. The owner stated that it was due to trumps tarriffs, I laughed and walked away. I will never do any business with this shop ever. read more

I purchased a Sigma lens from Mojo Cameras and I am very happy with my experience. The lens is sold out/back-ordered everywhere and they had it - I thought it was too good to be true but I called to verify. It was super easy to reach them via phone, they answered quickly and were really helpful. I placed the order and while the shipping cost was a bit high, it was worth it because they shipped it out the next day, it got to me in about 3 days, it came very well wrapped and protected and the lens works great. Very happy with this purchase and from my experience, would certainly recommend Mojo Cameras. read more

We initially went to MicroCenter Tustin to purchase a PC for my son. We were going to get the parts…read morethere and have MC build it. After meeting with Mario and pricing out the parts and build for a new PC, it was clear the PC purchase would have been over budget. Mario recommended a prebuilt PC from them called PowerSpec. He showed us the G535 and it had everything we wanted in a gaming PC but for almost $500 off the retail price if we had PC built. I asked why was it cheaper and Mario told us the PC was built before the rise in prices on the memory and GPU. We then met with James Tran who showed us the G535. I noticed they had an open box PC. James explained to us the open box was a return for resale at a cheaper price. It was $100 cheaper. We bought the PC and took it home. Unfortunately all was not well with the PC. When playing two different games, (Marvel Rivals & Ark: Survival Ascended) the PC freezes for 10 seconds and reboots to the desktop. I tried troubleshooting by playing two different Benchmarks and lowering the GPU graphics, deleting and reinstalling updated drivers and lowering video resolutions but to no avail. Every time my son would play the games the PC froze and rebooted. This lead me to believe there are hardware issues with the PC. Luckily the PC was still within their 14 day return policy for returns, exchanges and refunds. We decided we did not want to have their techs try to diagnose the problem with the PC and just return and exchange for a new one. MC's return and exchange process was very simple. You go online to their website, log into your account and file a return. You are given a QR code and just then head to MC. When we arrived (the nearest MC is Tustin which is 2 hours away), we met with James Tran again who helped us with the process. I explained to James what the issues were with the PC. He told us the option of walking over to their Tech area of the store and having their guys try and diagnose the PC. I told James we would rather just exchange it for a new one. James understood our situation and spoke with his manager who allowed us to exchange the return for a new PC at the open box price so we did not have a to pay the difference. MicroCenter staff especially their managers (forgot their names) along with Mario and James Tran were awesome. They truly satisfied our experience at their Tustin store and made our teenager son very happy. So far everything is working properly with the replacement PC. I'll do a follow up if things change. Thank you again MicroCenter!

I wanted to donate my MacBook to someone in need and this looked like a promising solution. I was worried that making a visit on the weekend to their tech bar for the donation process would be really busy and result in a long wait, but to my surprise I was helped very quickly! Queueing and "checking out" was quick, as the team member just needed to register my device and provided me with a receipt for tax purposes.

Wow, this place takes advantage of people, they claim to be an authorized dji and other brands dealer, yet they mark up everything they have, outrageously priced items, they use the word supply and demand with all products in stock, came in for a dji osmo pocket 3 and they were selling it for $799 when it retails for $519!!!I asked about few other items in store and everything was marked up at least 10-20%. After using the developing advice for years I purchased a refurbished Polaroid camera. Two months…read moreafter letting it sit in the box it came time to use it and the first shot it spit out a half a roll of the 600 film around 2 bucks a shot. When I took it back it in I was met with an extremely sour attitude and no attempts to rectify the situation just "too bad so sad". I recommend going to a camera place that treats their customers with respect and stands behind the functionality of the pro product at they sell. Try somewhere else. No wonder the employee turn over there is so common. Once John left it all fell apart. Shame.
