Love this store so much. Came here to order some cinema lenses from dzofilm. The team is absolutely the best, and Melissa and Ignacio went above and beyond for me. Just moved here from Indiana and I went to Sammy's camera, but had a really unpleasant experience with the staff in the Pasadena location. I did not feel very welcomed at all. However, coming here and being able to get the equipment that I need For my budget under $10,000 is absolutely a lifesaver. You are going to have much more options here than Best Buy for buying any type of camera gear for sure! First off if i could give this place zero stars i would . I went and bought a DJI drone from them since they had one in stock . come home activate it and it doesn't work . the camera was glitchy . call them and they tell me to go cause their technician is there so i go and i get the run around telling me i have to send it to DJI knowing damn well that i bought it there they could have just switched it for another one but came up with the excuse that they didn't have another one there or at their other stores messaged them from another account and they said they did have one available. sucks that i paid cash and they were quick to take my money but not quick to help me settle the problem. now i have to wait a whole week to get my drone fixed before i can even fly for first time , I should have bought straight from DJI messaged DJI and they were really helpful if your trying to buy electronics here save your money just buy straight from another retailer these guys scam you for your hard earned money . read more

If I could give them zero stars I would. WORST customer service I've ever experienced in my life. So disrespectful and rude. First of all they sent me a different MacBook than the one I ordered, but didn't inform me of this until after they already had shipped it out. But I was told that they sent me one with a larger hard drive than the one I ordered, but in the end it turned out to be a lie. Not to mention a MacBook being a year older is a huge deal in Apple time! Then, after my MacBook was unfortunately stolen it took Melissa months and months to try and come up with the serial number for said MacBook, but was never able to give me the correct serial number for the MacBook I actually received. Which means I couldn't file a police report without blacklisting the wrong computer. Melissa on several occasions said she had conferred with Ron, the warehouse manager and that the computer I told them they sent me was one that they never had, so that I had to be mistaken. I was told this on multiple occasions. It wasn't until I informed them of the photos I had taken of my computer before it was stolen and that I had documented phone calls with Apple support involving the Macbook, that Ron the warehouse manager magically was able to to produce a serial number within minutes that matched the year and specs of mine... even though during this same phone call I was told they never even had that MacBook in their inventory at any point. :keep in mind it's taken Melissa months to try and find this serial number after supposedly speaking to this same warehouse manager on multiple occasions. I don't know what's actually going on over there, but that whole situation is so crazy and ridiculous! I've now had to wait months to file the police report... if I had a chance at getting my MacBook back, it's most definitely too late now. Looks like I'm out almost $2000. Whatever you do, don't EVER order anything from MacStar camera! read more
