Since I had already had some coffee earlier, I decided to get some gelato. The young lady working at the counter was friendly and patient as we decided which gelato flavors to try. I appreciated that they allowed samples to see which flavor you were craving. After looking through the gelato selection, I decided to get their Oreo gelato. Not only is the gelato loaded with flavor, but it is also very creamy. The atmosphere is that of a nice little coffee and gelato shop in Jerome, worth stopping by whenever you are in the area and looking for a cup of coffee or a scoop of gelato. All in all, I would recommend Coppertown Coffee and Gelato to anyone in the Jerome area looking for a nice cup of coffee and gelato. I will be back next time I am in Jerome.

It's a very unique town on its own, and the drive from Jerome to Phoenix was absolutely amazing, it almost felt like a drive through the Pacific Northwest. Back to the coffee shop... it's tiny, but as an architect myself, I really appreciated the unique "flatiron" design. They don't have too many items on their menu, but it seems like they do what they have on the menu really well. I tried a vanilla latte, and it was great! I love general store old fashion candy and popcorn. When you first step in the smell of butter and caramel popcorn immediately hugs your senses in a warm embrace. There are rows of bagged candies, rows and rows of truffles in the glass case, and retro candy scattered throughout. It would be a bit overwhelming if I wasn't a popcorn / candy nut. I skipped over the gummies and candy you can find anywhere, skimmed over the retro offering and beelined to the popcorn. I settled for the large bags of caramel and kettle which were reasonably priced. Another customer behind me commented it was too high priced but you get high quality ingredients. Easily taking a tie for the second spot for best popcorn I've had in my life. Both the caramel & kettle are crisp, few to no kernels, and is the perfect level of sweetness. Our family snacked on the bags days after and it stayed crisp and delicious to the last bite. Regrets were made on not buying more; lol. (#1 Happy Popcorn booth in Ensenada & #2 CGV in Buena Park) Highly recommend! Yum!!
