What use to be Auggie's Coffee is now Molinos Coffee. Basic colors of white and black adorn the walls here. With the simple aesthetic of a basic color pallette on the exterior, there's two signs in the above windows that disrupt this flow of color of the building. I envision flower pots in the window, but the owner has another idea. My drink was just okay. I ordered a hibiscus ice tea. For the price I paid, I would've expected a larger cup. The menu seemed to offer a lot of items, as the menu looked very busy. I feel that this place doesn't have a "wow" factor to it. It's cute, but nothing to gravitate to. However, I did just stop in 'cause I was thirsty. Not a huge fan of the establishment before, I can't say this ownership is any better. I give them kuddos for trying. It's nice to see fresh paint on an old building and finishing touches to a relic of the past. However, I can't place it........but to me, this place is just okay. read more

My friend got an Iced caramel cold brew and it was so disgusting we couldn't even finish it together she tried it it was not good i tried it was not good. I wanted to adventure into downtown Redlands, over the past 9 years it's definitely revamped it's boulevard. This crafty coffee place is really good, I got the Horchata Latte and it was delicious. The space is super cute, the back room is super fancy because it has a chandelier and a faux tree and it's a great coffee date idea, it offers a wide work spaces and it's fairly quiet. WOW! possibly the best espresso I have ever had. The staff was super friendly and they young lady making our coffee was very knowledgeable about the coffee's. I tried the Cuban espresso with almond milk and it was so very smooth that I wanted to drink it like a shot and ask for another however I also wanted to sleep that night so maybe not this time. I came in here for the first time this past Sunday late in the morning. Service was good and baristas were polite. The shop itself was very clean and there was plenty of seating. Giving a 5 star shout out to Stephanie the manager. She is amazing! I am a morning regular at this location. Every time I go in there she is always welcoming and has a smile on her face no matter how busy it is. My drinks are always made with good energy and come out perfect. She even went as far as remembering my name and that spoke volumes. My coworkers and I who work on state street know of her because of how sweet she is! I've traded Starbucks and Dutch Bros for my affogato from Molino's it is absolutely amazing and delicious. I like to add my affogato in a cup of ice with a little bit of water to make it a full drink. It is seriously the best! I don't know why the reviews aren't better on Molino's. I've been to both locations multiple times and tried multiple menu items and have NEVER been disappointed. The baristas are friendly and the coffee is by far my favorite place to go to. I highly recommend the peanut butter mocha or the Havana coconut latte. Both locations in Redlands and Riverside are so cute and turn out the same quality products. They deserve more recognition! read more

when I came in to try the new molinos location, I wasn't welcomed in; I had to get their attention on my own. I tried to order a smoothie which they didn't even have so I had to order something else. the store/bathroom wasn't clean and the customer service was not great. I also noticed lack of diversity in the staff which didn't make me very comfortable. to summarize: - not sanitary inside - lack of supply - poor customer service - lack of diversity in staff I would avoid going to this place of business. there are plenty of other small businesses in redlands with welcoming staff who I would gladly give my support to! read more

Super disappointing you guys haven't been sticking to your posted hours. Even your sign on your door said for quite a while that you were open until 8, and 7 on weekends or something like that. But since you've opened, you close every day by 4 (it might even be earlier). If you don't want to be open that late, then just let people know. The price on their americanos goes up by size (like normal) but the amount of espresso shots doesn't increase (weird- who would want to pay more for just water?). Additionally the two girls on bar seemed inexperienced and uninterested in the customers. Asking questions about their menu/trying to make conversation, was like pulling out teeth. :/ And, they charge to add syrup to a drink (like normal), but then they charge you nearly a dollar to add a splash half and half (weird). I really hate to write this right now in our current Government closure of small businesses. I hope the owner of this business addresses this w employee. I was going to give it three stars but that is unfair to the owner. I was looking for this coffee shop but navigation kept spinning. So I called to get the cross street. The girl that answered the phone said I'm not sure I'm not from this area let me see. She then gets back on the phone to tell me I don't know I'm not from here. I cant help you. I'm sorry young lady but it's your job to know and if you don't know FIND OUT! She gave me absolutely nothing. When I finally found it because could smell the coffee there are two clear landmarks out front. One the yellow lab statue and the park across the street. When I paid I said Your cross street is Redlands Blvd you should know that. You also have two landmarks outside you should also know. She followed it up with a snotty "thanks I'm not from here, I'll use that next time". I will return to this coffee shop for two reasons. One it's a small business. I praise the owner for staying open. I could have easily gone to Starbucks around the corner. Two the coffee is good actually really good! Whom ever owns this business. Got the PB Mocha iced latte with oatmilk and a blueberry muffin. This is the best latte I have ever had before! I'm not a big fan of mocha, but the mocha of Molinos Coffee is very smooth when drinking, compared to others which are super rich and don't taste as great. The blueberry muffin was also not too sweet, yet not bland! Both of the two together were a great pairing! I was eager to try their chocolate muffin with the PB Mocha latte, but next time! I can only imagine how great that pairing would taste! The two ladies whose names I didn't happen to get were sweet, fast, and cool to chat with.
