I was reading Brandon's review in a parking lot before I made the trip out. Gyro's sounded good. I ordered it without a pita which confused the waitress a little. 3 different shaped pieces with nicely thin sliced purple onion, and lots of diced tomatoes. The sauce was amazing. I got a side salad and ordered it separated from the gyros. I hate crowded food. This surprised her as well. If you serve the public, an exacting personality needs to be a little flexible. I had a few bites of the spicy corn. Funny you don't catch the spice until it goes down your throat. I had a bite of the yummy side potatoes too. The key lime pie looked delicious, but an average size slice for $10, yikes. The homemade oatmeal raisin cookies looked tempting for another time. They only serve soup in the winter. Which is too bad since it seems like a soup type place. Lots of places to sit and it's still cozy. I haven't been to this town before and I can't wait to go back. read more

Service was a bit slow at lunch hour but we were quickly rewarded with great food! We had a BLTA sandwich and chicken avocado salad. Came out quick with fresh ingredients. Finished off with desert cookies from the local bakery. Chocolate chip and M&M. Ambiance was wonderful sitting on the patio on a beautiful Minnesota summer day! We will return, for sure! read more

I'm just so sad that the new owner is ruining the St. Boni Bistro experience. Food is always good! The wait staff are friendly and hardworking. But the owner is AWFUL and always looks miserable. We came here for Fathers Day. Such a cute place. My kids loved the French Toast and pancakes. The protein/power bowl was great. I had the Heavenly Hash and it was eh. It was mostly potatoes with a few veggies. It was really disappointing. I would probably order something else the next time. They have a lot of variety of options but it is expensive. The service was really slow to start. It took 20 minutes before someone even came to the table and it took awhile to pay. However our food came in a reasonable amount of time. read more

I had such a pleasant time here with my family! I sat on the back porch and it was amazing. No traffic, and very secluded cool vibe. I ordered something and asked if it could be made vegan and they totally accommodated for me. The black beans and corn were super fresh. A staff member chatted with us for quite sometime and he was very kind and funny! I felt like family here. I liked this place more than I thought I would. Our waitress Paulina was fabulous and wasn't afraid to give me a hard time when I ordered potato chips for side. This place is to die for. All organic and fresh ingredients. We loved the steak bite appetizer, gyro and walleye plate. I went back a couple weeks after and got the same walleye dish again. If you're looking for a burger joint that requires ketchup as a garnish, this place isn't for you. My wife and I visited for the first time this month. Decided to start out small with just burgers and a side salad. Amazing flavors. Good drink menu. Good ambiance with the fireplace though you'll want to save that spot for drinks and maybe desert. You sink too far in the cushions for a regular dinner. Service was excellent. Can't wait to come back to try the dinner entrees. So happy that St. Boni/Waconia has a place like this. read more

How great does it feel to bike hard AND eat healthy?!?? This place provides that opportunity! Right off the Dakota Rail Regional Trail, it's very convenient for bicyclists as well as walkers or just driving. Very quaint yet roomy, cool ambiance--classy farm decor that really emphasizes the farm-to-table pride they have here. Service was excellent, Paulina was adorable and helpful to us first-timers. Got the lemon lime kombucha to drink--even if you don't think you like kombucha you'd like theirs!! Got a salmon strawberry salad--actually had wild salmon which is hard to find at restaurants. Salad was so perfectly dressed---other places WAY overdress their salad and dressing is way too sweet. NOT here at all, perfectly made! Hubby got the lamb gyro and thought it was excellent. At $50 for a lunch (with tip) it's a bit too pricey to make it a once a week stop; but I know well sourced food is going to cost more. Will definitely be back!!! read more

A favourite breakfast spot of ours! The spicy breakfast sandwich is my husbands favourite. I love the French toast! They have a wonderful selection of herbal teas and great coffees to choose from! Great place to go all year round. Perfect place to stop for a drink and bite to eat in summer as they are right on the trail. read more

This place is a gem! I am so glad St. Boni has the bistro. They serve a wide variety of healthy and organic foods. There is a beautiful patio for a nice summer day and cozy indoor spaces when it's cold. I love to walk down for lunch or a beer/glass of wine. It is also along the bike trail, so that's awesome! I would love to see some more vegetarian/vegan options, but I must also remind myself that this is still St. Boni, so I should be grateful for any healthy options!! Ha!
