I used to visit this Molly's location weekly to get my beer & trivia/Texas Hold 'em fix when I lived in the area but the last time I came here I was severely disappointed. My mom, brother, his girlfriend, and I came here after dinner recently to celebrate the gf's 22nd birthday. We had some drinks at dinner and felt like playing some darts and having a few more. The place just felt old and dirty. The old and dirty feeling was further felt when my mom ordered a ZiegenBock draught that tasted exactly like mold. Mold beer wasn't really what we were feelin' so we all switched to bottled beer to avoid anymore run-ins with old moldy kegs and taps. I gave my bartender my DL in exchange for darts. She gave us two sets but one set was broken and they didn't have any more. She said that we could switch them out when someone else turned their darts in but since we didn't see anyone else in the whole bar playing darts, we didn't get our hopes up. Instead we used the one set for both teams. The bartenders weren't stellar and there was zero table service. That along with the moldy beer and broken darts makes for a pretty crappy night. Great beer selection, good prices, better bartenders. This place is great to hang out any day of the week. Nice patio to smoke on and tvs everywhere. Have been here 3-4 times over the last few years when in the area for work. Our tradition was to head over to Molly's on a Monday evening for some food and Monday night football. It's sort of a hole in the wall looking place, but the setup inside is very cool, and the food was pretty darn good. Molly's is a rather hit or miss kind of pub. Its one of the only pubs in Kingwood, so us Kingwoodinites come here primarily out of conveniece. Its a very mixed crowd here, it ranges from local youngins like myself and goes up in to stuffy old business men who just drove in from the city. Although, when you get a few beers in the geezers they start to say baffling things. I was highly offended one time while sitting out on the patio a man was loudly using the "n" word. That man should have undergone water torcher for such language. HEADS UP, this is considered Montgomery County and they will have to register you with the bar in order to serve you. Once you are a "member" they can scan your ID when you enter the pub to verify your membership. They have a nice size indoor/outdoor area. Lots of seating and the option to play darts in and out. I like the Itunes jukebox but its kinda expensive and there is no filler music for when everyones pockets are tapped. Its not my go to bar but if you live in the area, you can go ahead and motion for one more to the bartender cause your not driving too far from home. read more

My friend group & I played poll from about 11-2 on a Saturday and had a great time. You pay per game instead of per hour which made it alot cheaper for us because we're not great at pool. They had other bar games including shuffle board, darts, fussball, and ping pong. Over all the place was very clean, the staff was nice, and the atmosphere is laid back. All three stars are for the beer selection, the pool, and the shuffleboard, the selection of food is not anything special, but the beer makes up for it. The best part is they have my ACE Pear cider on draft, how many bars have that? I like the atmosphere, and it is a good place to go after work. If you are looking for a fancy meal and a nice bottle of Pinot Noir, probably not your place. read more

You typical sports bar/pub in suburbia. I don't frequent it as much as I used to, but Molly's is a good place to grab a brew, shoot some pool and catch the nightly game. Not a bad place at all to catch a game, or chill at the bar. A pretty typical Molly's, but way better than most the other chain crap that is found in Kingwood. A long central bar, wood everywhere, plenty of TV's. There is a game room in the back with pool tables and shuffle board. A semi decent tap list. Some Saint Arnold and a few other micros on tap. The service can be hit or miss. Though usually friendly. The food is...ok. Nothing more. Some sandwiches that are not bad at all, then some nasty frozen pizzas. I have been going to Molly's for years now and consider it to be my home bar. I love beer on tap, and Molly's is the place for a great selection with a nice rotation on seasonal and specialty brews. The sandwiches and nachos are a must if your looking to eat. I don't smoke often and so the non smoking on the inside is great but the large patio is a very nice place to grab the occasional cigar with the cigar club on Tuesdays. The staff doesn't turnover much so you really get to know everyone and they always treat you like family when you walk in. I love playing in their Pub-Olympics event a couple of times a year and the weekly free poker players have become a very tight knit group of friends. Molly's is and always will be my home away from home when I'm looking for good times with people I enjoy spending time with. read more

Tonight was terrible at this place. We went after dinner to celebrate a birthdays, and a wedding of some friends. We had a group of 9 or 10. Most of the night was great but towards the end of the night the bar staff got downright hateful. One of the large male bartenders put his hands(assaulted) one of the very tiny females in our party and got in her face and yelled at her. They were yelling and cursing at all of the patrons. If you want your night to end well I suggest you don't patronize this establishment. Their behavior was uncalled for, illegal, and on any other night could have ended in a fight or a lawsuit. Again I repeat the bar staff and I assume manager are terrible. read more

Best bar in kingwood for bar games and craft beer. Good staff! Great atmosphere! My wife was looking for the new buffalo bayou craft and Molly's was listed on tap hunter. I gave them a call to confirm and a few minutes later we were enjoying a glass of greatness with the friendly staff. read more

Great spot in the suburbs. Good beer selection and lots of games (pool, darts, shuffleboard and some video/gambling type games). Lots of TV's for sports enthusiasts but I love that there are other things here for all of us beer lovers who aren't all sports! Thank you! Also-when I was a smoker I loved this place because they have a nice outside area with heaters and tables, chairs benches etc. I love that there is no smoking indoors now. Damn good beer, damn good service, awesome beards!!! Let's start with the beer first, the selection of various beers is incredible. For sure not something you would expect from your atypical "dive bar." Many of the beers on tap were ones that you would either find at upscale swanky establishments or in the specialty section of your local Specs. The service was very good the bar and wait staff were very enthusiastic willing to work, carry on a conversation and keep the good times rolling. The last thing that stood out too me was the beards.... I think it was a requirement for you to have to have a beard to work there. read more

This is the best pub in the Kingwood, Humble, and Atascocita area. It is run by true southern gentleman and facilitated by true southern bells that know quality service and are very knowledgeable . They have a great variety of tap and bottled beer from all across the great USA and abroad. Molly's has all of the pub games imaginable. This is the premier place to watch sports, TV's everywhere inside and outside on the lovely patio. But buyer beware! It can get busy because it such a great establishment so be a southern gentleman or bell and be a little patient If they're busy. Well deserved 5 stars. read more

BIGGEST RIP OFF IN KINGWOOD!!!!! I don't even know where to begin. 1.) waitress gave me and my nephew who was visiting to celebrate graduating from OSU, and my son celebrating his birthday ATTITUDE ALL NIGHT. We waited so long to get our 2nd drink served to us, we went ahead and ordered the 3rd round just because she wasn't coming back anytime soon. Our Tab came out to be $60, me and my nephew were to have split and give her 12% Gratuity. Well We Were About to Leave And Those BIMBOS HAD THE NERVE TO TAG TEAM ME AND TELL I DID NOT GIVE THEM ENOUGH TIP. In my whole life I have never been treated with disrespect and humility. Going downhill! We would frequent Molly's on a regular basis and knew all the bartenders and servers. Spending anywhere from $200-$300 a month until they started to play favoritism. Just a tip for the future Brian, if you are going to cut one person off you should cut both groups off. Instead, you choose to help your buddies out therefore pushing away two of the regulars. We refuse to step foot back in this place and luckily have been able to talk our friends out of ever going back. Looks like we will be at the draft! read more

Moving from NYC , I was looking for a great irish pub to call home. Mollys has been my home for 11 years now and I am never moving out!

Let me start off by saying I've given this place plenty of chances. I like to play pool, so my friends and I have gone back since it's really been the best place to play pool that doesn't rip you off big time to play. When I first started coming here, I would order a custom drink I like. The bartenders would, on average, charge a fair price (usually in the $6.50 range for the drink). In college, I've gotten it for as low as $2.50, with the average price being $5.50. I know it isn't a college town here, so I was fine paying a little extra for it. However, a few months ago the blonde bartender came in and decided it was $8.00 from then on. I told her I'd been paying $6.50 for it there, and that I had gotten it previously for $5.50. I've even paid $6.75 at a bar a few miles away. She told me, to my face, "no you haven't." I insisted I have. She called me a liar. That particular drink became a rare occurence for me, and I chalked it up to one bad seed at a bar that was overall decent. However, the service declined over time, and they would actually seem like they didn't want to serve my friends and me. They started watering down that particular drink big time. When I pressed them on it, they didn't seem to care. My friends and I stopped coming in for a few months. Very recently, I went in and the bartender made the drink (while the blonde bartender shadily talked to her like she's developed a habit of doing when I order), then told me it was $9.00. This is ridiculous, and it's a ripoff. When I brought up that that price is ridiculous, they made some excuse about how the price of one of the liquors just went up to $6.00 a shot. I just got water for the rest of the night and played pool with my friends who wanted to stay. When I'd go up to get a refill, the bartenders would start saying "not it" like serving me was some terrible chore, even though I've never been a particularly bad customer. In short, I'm never going back to Molly's. The service is slow and rude, they ripped me off, and quite frankly, they don't seem to want my business. The biggest redeeming factor of it was the amount of pool tables, but I'm not even going to give them that money. read more

Hello, I was recently at mollys pub with my girlfriend(next to kingwood,texas).The ENTIRE bar INSIDE is non-smoking!!!-yes that is right....They have signs posted saying such and the smokers have to go outside to a BIGs covered patio to smoke-tv's out there.Plenty of beers on tap,darts,shuffleboard,gold t golf(video game),pool tables(in the back)-PLENTY of room....big screen tv's...They even have the buzztime trivia where you compete against others in the bar and other people nationwide-it is FREE!!!They also have texas hold em on the video screens which are quite popular.They hold texas hold em tournaments at this Molly's location on thursdays/saturday nights-quite popular.Wednesday nights is Big A@@ beer nights-23 ounces of elixir-quite popular.They also have drink specials on sunday,monday and tuesdays.People who play trivia(it's free and FUN) tend to show up on sunday and wednesday nights-at the front of the bar(team trivia-we share the answers-trying to get #1 in the nation-we have:O). The bartenders and waitstaff are attentive and the food is GREAT...Highly recommend...who needs the cheers bar...definately a sports themed bar....its a full service bar as well:O) GO Raiders!! I like going to Molly's. It is a good stop after a day on the lake or something like that. I wouldn't consider a good date spot, but that is just my opinion. They have some games (ping-pong, pool, darts, etc.) that you can play. The crowd has always been pretty friendly there. If you bring your girlfriend/wife, she might be the only girl in there at times. ha... Prices are good, and there are a lot of beers on tap. Make sure you are specific on the liquor in your drinks, or you will get a cheap well. read more

We have been going to Molly's for several years now. Great service, great people, great beer!! Yes, it is in a dry county so you have to be a member but membership is free!! All smoke-free inside, you can smoke on the patio... pool tables, dart boards, shuffle board...different things on different nights...bingo, poker tournements...etc. It is your typical Irish Pub...hence the name "Molly's Pub". In the 7 years I have been going there I have had fantastic service so I don't plan to go any where else!! read more
