Delicious!! Mama wanted Molly's on her day so here we are with everyone else. We were a party of 3 and were promptly seated within 5 minutes of arriving. Actually, everyone was seated rather quickly from what I could see, a big plus. Mollys has your standard breakfast fare on their menu, everything we ordered was fresh and tasty. Mollys has expanded their seating area with many tables outside that are shaded by trees or patio type covers. There are tables inside too but the majority are outside. My husband and I came on a Wednesday morning so it wasn't busy at all. I liked the family feel and the dog friendly environment. They have indoor seating and tables under the covered patio. When we got there, we were promptly seated in the outside patio. Since it was still early in the day, the weather was comfortable enough to sit outside. However, the flies were really annoying to deal with. We ordered the Billy's benedict, Denver omelette with added cheese, French toast, and orange juice. The Denver omelette was very thin and overcooked. When it came, I was surprised to see that the cheese was piled on top, rather than inside. I would go without the cheese next time since it made my omelet super greasy. Our orange juice never came and our server didn't come back to check on us so we just asked them to adjust the bill when we left. The service could have been better, especially since it wasn't busy. Overall, the food was okay and the prices are reasonable so I wouldn't mind coming back again to try something else on the menu. I had really high hopes for this place after seeing so many positive reviews and it was okay. Not sure that I'll make a trip back here. We ordered 2 coffees that came out lukewarm. We told someone and she said it was "because of the cream" that was added. The cream was sitting at the table and non refrigerated so that was a bad joke. She did bring 1 coffee that was hot and I had to ask the waitress to bring another one for me. That one was HOT which was good. The refills again were luke warm so we didn't ask for anymore. As for the food, the tuna sandwich was probably the best thing at the table. I ordered the fried egg sandwich which I was REALLY disappointed by when they used a burger bun. They should ask what kind of bread you want and avoid the buns at all cost because it took away from what I should've enjoyed. The loaded potatoes sounded amazing, and they were just okay. I have been to Mollys Souper twice and each time had excellent service (each time I've been there around 10am) I was immediately seated both times and the food my friend and I ordered came out in about ten minutes or less. The food is really good and the cinnamon rolls are delicious. As for the prices they are pretty good and the portions are pretty large(the cinnamon roll was $5 and was the size of my hand). The ambiance is very cozy and comfortable along with the waiters being very friendly and nice. Our visit here started off a little rocky. There is no one at the hostess stand. You walk up, put your name down, the number of people in your party and then the number of dogs in your party. As I was walking back I heard them yell a name I couldn't make out and then the hostess quickly called another party. I checked the list and that name he yelled that I couldn't make out was apparently mine. When he returned to the hostess stand I let him know we were skipped. He said ok and to give him a minute. We stepped aside and he probably called and seated five different parties that put their name down after us. I was so upset. I confronted him and he tells me oh one more minute... you have 5 total? And in my head I was like 2 people, 3 dogs yea that's 5. He finally comes to get us and he's like where is the 5? I tell him I wrote down 2 people, 3 dogs and once again was told to wait a min. After that fiasco we were finally seated but it should never have been such a headache. They had a big sign out front for Watermelon Mimosas and we were super excited to try them. Sadly, they sold out and we didn't get a chance to. We ended up settling for mango and cranberry mimosas. I will say... they were delicious and not all fruit juice if you get what I mean. I do appreciate a generous pour. My friend ordered the Loaded Potatoes. She said they were good but a little stingy with the sausage which was super tasty. I had the Ham and Cheese Omelette. I asked the waitress to add avocado, bacon, and sausage. I love how they piled on the cheese. The omelette was very filling and satisfying. I didn't get a picture of the biscuits and gravy but I highly recommend ordering them instead of the toast. This restaurant is dog friendly! The dog menu is pretty impressive. They serve the dog meals in paper trays which is perfectly fine. I do need to mention something that bothered me. When we first sat down I noticed a shelf against the wall with a little water jug and a bunch of dog bowls. I asked the waitress if we order the dog's water with her or if it's self service? She said either way was fine. I didn't want to bother her so I grabbed the water myself. During our meal I saw a bus boy cleaning off another table who also had a dog guest. He dumped the left over dog bowl water in the plant by the dog bowl shelf and placed it back without washing it... this is a BIG NO NO. If you are a dog parent you know the types of risk this can pose. I'd bring your own collapsible water bowl just to be safe. Overall, our first time experience here was so so. The food was good. The customer service was meh. Our waitress dropped off our check while I was still eating and after that it just seemed like they were trying to rush us to leave. It's a huge place. The food is so scrumpdilliyicious no matter what I get. It is such a family-friendly environment and they even accept dogs and have their own menu for them! It's an old house that has been converted to a restaurant with indoor and a ton of covered outdoor seating! You check in at the front and write your name, how many people, and if there are any dogs in your party! I've only been on the weekends, so it's pretty busy on Saturdays and Sundays, but they move very quickly and we never had to wait much more than 10 minutes. They have a pretty large breakfast menu and some lunch options as well. My favorite thing is Billy's Texas Benedict with regular bacon instead of Canadian bacon! Highly recommend! Their omelettes are good as well. They have mimosas available by the glass or you can get a bottle and some juices. I often see larger parties here, so they are good at accommodating groups! Now for the must charming part of this place! The way they cater to your furry friends! They have a whole dog menu! They have water and bowls available, would generally give our pup a little milk bone, and their dog menu has a bunch of options with cute names! Like chicken catch a cat-tori! We would normally get our small dog the bacon scramble and they would serve it in two food boat trays, so we would give her half and take the other half to go for her dinner. The portion is pretty generous. Plus all of the dog options are less than $5. Would highly recommend! Although I don't live nearby anymore, it would be a good spot for a little breakfast outing, with some friends, or maybe a date, and your dog! We came here because it's supposed to be dog friendly, but honestly it didn't feel that way at all. The way staff reacted to our dog was really off-putting, and it made us feel unwelcome. On top of that, where they sat us was uncomfortably hotttt no fans, no airflow 9am while other tables had way better seating and insulation. My friend and I shared the following: -club sandwich ($11.99): bacon, fresh sliced turkey, tomatoes, and lettuce on toasted bread with mayo -kitchen sink omelette ($11.99): four eggs, ham, bacon, mushrooms, olives, tomatoes topped with cheese I personally loved the kitchen sink omelette - the eggs were so buttery even in omelette form. The very best part: unlike other kitchen sink omelettes, this one had no green bell peppers! Even better, they use black olives! For that alone, I'd order this again. The chicken club was superb as well. It was salty, crunchy, and mayo-y - everything you're looking for in a club. The cheese was on top of the omelet and not inside, and the whole thing was just meh. The coffee is watery and not strong enough. I feel like Denny's tastes better to be honest. That's not saying much, either. They have bloody marys but they aren't real bloody marys, they are made with some sake vodka because they don't have a full liquor license. The service is oustanding, with staff doubling up on refills when we needed it and a rather quick response time from kitchen to table. If you enjoy a family type atmosphere, you'll find it here with many children and famlies enjoying the outside dining area, or inside this quaint home filled with mid-century appliances and inviting plaques. Single diner...place is busy at 9:30 am on a weekday. Usually a "one too" pretty much gets ignored. Service staff working very well as a team. The manager stopped by my table...don't think the gentleman is a bus person, he runs the register...he stopped by with coffee twice!! Server stopped by about 4 times for coffee and to make sure I was ok. While I wouldn't say the food is awesome...the overall atmosphere and people is top notch.
