I've been coming to Tee for over a year now, and he has never let me down! When I first moved to San Diego, I tried multiple salons looking for someone who was precise, kind, detail-oriented, and capable of delivering clean, beautiful nail art at a reasonable price. I was close to giving up--I just wasn't happy with the results I was getting anywhere. Then a friend recommended Tee and his wife Vivian, the amazing duo behind Coco Nails, and I've been a loyal client ever since. I would honestly drive hours just to come back here. Not once have I had a bad experience. The professionalism, friendliness, and overall atmosphere at Coco Nails is truly unmatched. As long as you make an appointment, you'll have absolutely zero issues with service. I'm so grateful I found this gem of a salon!!

I had never been to this salon before and I am absolutely amazed. The people are so kind and welcoming. The environment is very peaceful and the salon is clean. My nail artist, Miki, was the sweetest and my set came out gorgeous. It looked identical to the picture I showed her. She took her time on the intricate designs and made sure everything was perfect. The price was very affordable and the people who work there are always really generous they offered to take professional photos of my nails which came out great. This is by far the best nail experience I've had.

WOW! I'm so happy I came here. New to the area, and I knew there were lots of spots around that had pretty good reviews. I saw the photos of the work they do here and I HAD to come. They met and even exceeded my expectations, I will 100% be returning. I requested a fill and used a reference picture and the nails are gorgeous. The environment is very well put together and everyone is very welcoming. 100% recommend if you're just visiting or if you're a local!! Amazing spot.

I LOVE this place!!! I moved to PB in February - this was the first salon I tried and I was hooked! I always go to Vivian for my gel-topped acrylics and she is so consistently great. She knows exactly the shape and length I want and always helps me with colors because I am usually so indecisive. I have never had to wait more than a few minutes to get started after my appointment time (so rare for nail salons) and the nail techs always offer complimentary water, wine, or champagne! The place is so cute and clean. Everyone is so friendly. They also have punchcards for every 8 visits, you get $10 off. The other techs who have done my nails and toes are great as well. If you like natural looking, thin acrylics, this is your place to go!

I appreciate your offer. I will kindly decline. The Gel Polish Pedicure says $49, why would it be an additional $17 for GEL POLISH if I'm paying for the GEL pedicure. Just doesn't make sense to me. I want to add that I was not told the price ($60+) or asked to confirm. The woman pointed at the GEL pedicure I wanted, I said yes, and she began the pedicure. Thank you for your time. Good luck

I have a great experience. I broke one of my newly manicured nails on day two of my vacation and called to see if they could fix it. They said to come right over! Not only was it fixed, but matched perfectly for only $6! This is a cute little shop with friendly service.

I requested to review the size. Spoke only once, asking to change. I went to this place for a year, and I never complained. Once, only once, I asked to review was treated super badly; I was left to leave the place with one hand with a set on and the other cut. I had to return to ask to cut and remove. Insane.

You couldn't pay me to ever come back here. EVER. Came here for my birthday and received the worst service I've truly ever had. I gave them a picture of what I wanted they didn't help me to try and get a color match to the picture. My manicurist was ROUGH, RUDE, huffing and puffing the entire service, yanking my hands left and right. I asked my pedicurist if they do my cuticles with a dip powder manicure and she said 'You can ask her if you have any questions about your nails'.... she never soaked my nails or removed any gunk or dead skin off my nails, I never got a massage, never got any lotions, no cuticle removing lotion, the shape was completely off with different nails at different shapes and lengths. She used the electric filer so hard on my edges that my nails looked like tiny little chicken nails?? She didn't even clean underneath my nails or remove dead skin from around the nails too. Everything about it came out horribly. I didn't even get offered any complimentary beverage till an hour after being there and only because the next two people who came in after me were offered beverages. The first design she did came out so bad I literally didn't even have her finish the rest. Truly the absolute worst experience I've ever had and will never ever ever ever be back! Notice how on my ring finger nail the almond shape isn't even; it's jagged and not cleanly filed. Literally looks jacked. Updated Review: after owner responded to my first review i messaged her about what had happened during my appointment to which she left me on read and seemed unconcerned to fix the issue unlike would appear so via her response to my negative review. seems like people only care when a review is at stake

Amazing everytime! I have been going here throughout the past 3 years everytime it is a trustworthy service. I've brought in photos of many different styles I was interested in and everytime it turns out exactly like what I wanted or better! I've had 4 different artists here and they are all great & very nice. I had came in to get an acrylic set removed and when discussing my options decided to try a gel-x set. It looked so nice and had been exactly the look had been trying to get from acrylic sets. elder lady with glasses did my nails. poor technique and not very friendly. left with nail polish all over cuticles, missing nail polish on corners, and sloppy almost shape had to ask for the shortest she could file to save the shape. i would not recommend this woman unfortunately but i do feel bad due to her age. read more

I went in here in here on a Saturday morning after the gym to do a dip removal because the reviews were promising and the prices were decent. Considering it was a $15 removal fee, I decided to opt into a deluxe manicure ($25) to bring the removal fee down to $5 to get more out of it. The staff was friendly and offered beverages, but the quality of the polish and manicure was pretty poor. It bubbled instantly and after asking to get it fixed a 3rd time I gave up and walked out. read more

Vivian and Tee are the best Nail Artists I've ever been to in San Diego. I used to see them in La Jolla for years and i was so excited to see they opened their own salon in Pacific Beach. I spent a year or two trying other places closer to my house (north county) but i wasn't ever really happy with the shape/ thickness / design. Viv does a PERFECT French everytime and absolutely kills it when it comes to color choices. I would often come in with multiple inspiration photos and leave it up to her to choose what she likes best. I'm never scared to let her take the reins and give her artistic freedom. Her design work is immaculate. Tee is equally as amazing, i often see him if Vivians schedule doesn't work with mine. I tend to test him with crazy designs and he always delivers! I've had them both work on my nails at the same time and you couldn't even tell it wasn't all done by the same person because it was SO seamless. Other than their obvious talents they're actually some of the sweetest people you'll ever meet. (Tell me how Tee remembered my voice when i called to book and the look on Vivian's face when i walked in was priceless, she welcomed me back with open arms) They are so special to me I'm so glad to be back. I'll be driving to PB frequently just for them :) read more

We have been going here once a year on vacation since 2009. Truly one of the best experiences while having a pedicure. Extremely nice staff, mimosas for the adults and a soda for my granddaughter. The presentation of the oils and lotions are a very nice touch. We will be back next year. read more

Awesome spot! Came to SD for a girls weekend away and we wanted something walking distance from our place. This place is super clean, they're very polite, you don't feel rushed, and the services are amazing with great prices. I had a "normal" priced service but felt like I got the ultimate luxury experience. Wish they had more places like this back home. Free mimosas were a plus! read more

Today I walked in without an appointment and was told they were fully booked and to come back in 45 minutes. No problem. I spent the next 40 minutes walking around with my dog nearby and returned exactly as instructed. When I walked back in, they acted like they had no idea who I was and asked how they could help me. After explaining the situation, they told me they "didn't think I was coming back" so they gave my spot away to other walk-ins. That is unbelievably disrespectful and unprofessional. If you tell a customer to come back in 45 minutes, common sense would say you hold the spot you told them to return for -- especially for someone who has been loyal, tips generously, and actively sends business your way. The complete lack of recognition, accountability, and customer appreciation was honestly insulting. I left immediately and took my business elsewhere. After today, I will never return, and I definitely won't be recommending this place anymore.

I went in for a classic pedicure and asked for her to file my nails and change the color, that's it! The technician was nice so I feel bad leaving this review, but the way she removed the gel from my toes was awful! She filed it down, put acetone and let it sit for a bit. Then she proceeded to peel off the old gel and tore the corner of my nail OFF. She then proceeded to say I had thin nails! I've been getting gel pedicures for a while now and NEVER has anyone tore a piece of my nail OFF! As a technician, even if my nail was thin she could of used a machine to remove the gel instead of tearing it off the way she did. I was so upset! She tried to tell me she would add a piece, which I declined so I just told her to cut what she could without leaving my nail too short. I will never return here. Maybe some folks like this method of removal but I did not and will not be returning for a pedicure. I will add the chairs were comfortable and I also got a gel manicure which he added so many layers too! There was one lady too that came by and was just talking to the technician who did my nails and the vibe just felt uncomfortable! I will never return!

When my nail technician completed my manicure, she announced, "same!" as if she declared out-loud my powdered pearlescent nails are now magically transformed into the requested nude chrome color. I wish they would've told me upfront that this cannot be done. I would not request for anything out of the basic mani pedi here.

Came in today as a walk in for a manicure while I was waiting for a tattoo appt and was greeted by friendly technicians. They were busy working on other clients but I still didn't wait more than 15 minutes for my manicure to be started. I removed my acrylics 6 months ago after years and years of having them and every manicure I get has just been meh.. until today. Vivian did a very thorough and neat job and the result were *chefs kiss*. The gel is not too thick at the cuticle which is what I often see and she did not attempt to drill off the old coat of gel polish when she started. I will absolutely be returning and I do not even live in the area. Go see them! The shop is amazing! read more
