I booked a mani pedi appointment about 2 days ago and was accommodated easily! I was running a couple minutes late so I called and they said they had a 15-minute grace period. I was relieved as I drove there. Luckily, there were free spaces of street parking on the same block as the salon so it didn't take extra time to look for parking. I arrived with gel-x mani so Tina did a soak off then she and her husband John took turns removing the gel-x, buffing, shaping, and prepping the nails. I sat comfortably as I was getting a back massage on the massage chair. At first I chose a light green glitter polish, but it was too sheer so he tried to put this mint green polish as the base. After he finished the base and put the layer of the glitter I realized that I like the base color by itself! He took his time to polish 3 coats to make a beautiful mint green color. Meanwhile, Tina was careful and attentive with my light pink pedicure. I was almost falling asleep as she massaged my feet and lower legs because it was super relaxing. The couple John and Tina did a great job on my mani pedi! I also love the clean vibe and cute aesthetic in the salon and bathroom. I could not recommend them enough! Found my new nail salon!!!!! I had some time to kill in PB one weekday morning between client meetings and Yelped to see if any nail salons in PB were open @ 9:00 AM. Thank goodness Angel Nails & Spa was or I may have never walked in. They took me right away. Tina & Jon (owners) handled my regular pedicure and my dip manicure at the same time, which was better timewise for me that day. I don't remember the last time I was THIS happy with the removal of previous dip (nothing missed), polish quality (nothing where it shouldn't be), almond shape (they suggested and I love it!), length, and they have LASTED even longer than any other dips I've done. This one was on my natural nails. My friends have been in awe. Salon "unassuming" from the exterior though it's in a great location. They just did a full renovation they'd said, so everything inside is new. It's a small space, which I kind of liked. All 4 people working there were very nice too. Very reasonably priced too. Giving this place three stars because they were friendly, location, cleanliness and my pedi looks good. I got a sports pedi and French tips with regular nail polish for a total of $70. They were adamant I get gel but I didn't want to commit and I'm glad I didn't. By the evening the nail polish was lifting and my other nails were bubbling. I called them and they asked for me to come by and get them re-done. He fixed the polish that had lifted and saw others had bubbled so he decided to fix them as well. My nails look horrible, and he left so much top coat on my fingers. Such sloppy work. While driving, the nail polish on my index finger lifted and about half of it came off. I've never had nail polish issues at other nail salons. read more

I have been coming to this AMAZING nail salon for over 10 years through a couple of makeovers/renovations but the latest one is amazing!! Lynn and her team are the very best! Even though I always get the same regular sport pedicure, they now have gel X, dipping powder, acrylics and beautiful nail art. while I'm sure it's best to make an appointment, I always just pop in and Lynn fits me in. It is so relaxing with their brand new massage chairs and gleaming white marble floors. They are closed on Mondays but they are right in the heart of Pacific Beach across from Trader Joe's. So, parking is super easy in the grocery store shopping lot. Can't recommend this place more!!!! read more
