I turned off the car and when I tried to restart the car and nothing happened. At this point I was looking at a dead vehicle at night with nothing open and no hotel within 15 miles. I saw two men helping a woman who had locked her keys in her car. They had professional looking tools and I asked if they knew where I could get a tow, and where I might be able to get my car fixed. Keep in mind that this was at 8:30 at night. Turns out that the gentlemen were mechanics at Complete Auto and Tire. The looked at my van and quickly determined that my alternator had failed. My thought was that I would get a hotel and they could fix it in the morning. Instead they called the owner of the local parts store, re-opened their business and fixed my car at 9:30 all at a completely reasoanable price. Best business ever

I bought 4 brand new tires and had a wheel alignment for my Kia Sorento back in October. Had great…read morecustomer service at the time and the lady at the counter was very helpful in picking quality tires that were not overpriced. After the alignment, I was told that there was something else wrong as the wheels continued to pull whenever hitting bumps and they suggested that I take the vehicle to a dealership to be checked out as they could not tell me what was wrong. When I went into the dealership, they found that I needed my front 2 ball joints replaced. The bad news with this was that it would cause me to need another alignment. (Now that I read other people's reviews of this business, I wonder how it is that they can tell one customer that their ball joints were installed incorrectly, but they can't tell me that mine need replaced). So after getting the joints replaced, I took the vehicle back to Rothrock last week for another alignment as their price was less expensive than the dealership. (However, had I just gone to the dealership first for everything, they would have not done the first alignment and I would have come out ahead instead of paying for 2 at Rothrock). Up to this point, I was merely annoyed with my whole situation. What followed next is the cause for such a poor review. I took the car back to the dealership for an oil change on Monday and they came back and showed me that they also had to do a tire rotation because I now have 2 tires that need replacing. My front tires were rated at a 3 and 4 where my back were still at an 11. I had only put 5,000 miles on these tires since they were bought. I now have to go BACK to Rothrock because they hold the warranty, to get this problem fixed. I will be the first to admit I was not a happy customer when I walked into their office. I did smack my papers on the counter, my voice was raised (but far from yelling), and I was already at the point of tears. The answer that I got back was the worst experience I have ever had, including being on the receiving end of angry customers in the past. A man got up from his desk (I think he might have been the OWNER of this business) and proceeded to yell at me saying things like "You don't come in here throwing and slamming your papers at me or you can take your business somewhere else. I will get your problem fixed but don't yell and cry at me trying to make me feel sorry for you. This is not how things get done in the world Mam." At no point did this man apologize for ANYTHING or acknowledge my frustration. He made me feel small and like a little girl being yelled at by her father. The disrespect and words were like slaps in the face. I told him I was upset because I spent some of our Christmas money on these tires and his response was "Well obviously you needed the tires and would have spent the money anyway." At one point I even apologized to HIM saying that I was frustrated, stressed, and just wanting my family to be safe when we travel in 2 days on a long trip. He scheduled me for the following day for 2 new tires. My husband ended up taking the vehicle in as I couldn't go back to face that man. My husband said no one said a word to him about the incident from the previous day and there were only 2 ladies at the front to wait on him. We will not be returning to this place as the man informed me himself; I can certainly take my business somewhere else.

I recently returned and had some additional work completed and spoke with Dallas on the phone several times and when I arrived at the store Lane checked my car in. . Both Dallas and Lane were very professional and helpful to say the least. In fact, prior to today, I had to reschedule my appointment a couple times around my work schedule and Dallas was very understanding and helpful. And when I worked with Lane today. He was extremely knowledgeable and committed to his work and making sure I had a good understanding of all my options for the service I thought I needed. Notice I said, "thought I needed"... that is because Lane explained to me that my car didn't need the service, and equally he advised me on several other things I might consider for future work given my Subaru has 118K miles on it. This was awesome... He saved me from an unnecessary expense, which is of great value to me of course. I was extremely impressed with their honesty and no pressure informative approach regarding other work I might consider given the milage and age of my Subaru. . The above factors along, with the positive experience last year when I purchased my new tires, and the great nature and professionalism of everyone I have interacted with at this store, has bought them a lifetime customer. I guess this is something to do with "you get what you pay for," though. I had them come out a couple weeks ago to potentially repair or replace my windshield after it got a sizeable crack in it. First, I was not pleased that they did not discuss the possibility of repairing the crack -- though that's not a total ding, as I had already figured it probably wouldn't be repairable. Secondly, though: I suppose they did not expect me to be in a situation to watch them as they worked, as the repairman was out there carelessly/disrespectfully throwing the plastic bonnets for the windshield wipers to the ground after removing them. I do not know if they damaged the pieces themselves or they just didn't give a hoot, but when they put them back on, they were no longer lying flush to the windshield as they were before, essentially aesthetically-detracting from the car either permanently or temporarily (I've yet to take a look and see what the problem might be myself). All around, it was an exemplary experience in why I try to avoid mechanics or repairmen like the plague/try to DIY when possible, as more than half the time, you get people like this who will do a sketchy job or damage something in the process, and then still have the nerve to charge you for their BS.

I brought my car there a little over a month ago with an oil leak. I told him i was pretty sure it…read morewas a warped plastic oil pan but the guy assured me it was the oil level sensor. He assured me that lots of cars have plastic oil pans and it's nothing to worry about. So i pay him $700 to fix it. Turns out it didn't fix my leak, was leaking just as badly. So i brought it back to him, and what do you know? Hes explaining to me on the phone that it's because the plastic oil pan was warped. He did seem to feel sorry and give me a good deal on replacing the oil pan, so i spent another 500. He tried to say that fixing one oil leak can cause another, but the oil was clearly leaking from the oil pan the first time i brought it in. I even have obvious photos of it from before I ever brought it to him the first time. I shouldn't have let him convince me it was the sensor. Could he be right? Maybe. But I think the evidence leans towards he made a mistake. Which is fine, mistakes happen. But he could at least admit it.
