Inexpensive formal dress palooza! This is the place to go if you're in need a of formal dress for prom, wedding, or any of those other social occasion. They have hundreds! A great selection of prices! Lots of inexpensive dresses...I tried on 5 and they were all under $129. The inventory seems split between short and long dresses with a definite nod toward the size inclined ladies. I wear a 0 -2 and had a trouble finding small dresses. But the selection was the best I've seen yet and the staff is helpful, but lets you search and pull yourself. I would definitely go back! read more

I will never shop at this location again. The rudeness of the owner/manager was beyond ridiculous. She offered no help what's so ever, I fell in love with a dress that was damaged, I asked for a discount because I was going to have to spend additional money to fix the snags and missing jewels. She stated no discount and if I had an issue with the dress someone else would buy it no problem. I expressed how important it was to find a dress in a short period of time. After trying on dresses she told me I was sweaty and could not try on anymore. She sat and ate while her employee was helping multiple customers at the same. The only reason I gave this review two stars was because of Her employee, Ana I believe was phenomenal, trying to go above and beyond to help me and the other associates. I was impressed by her and expressed she should have more support from her management. I would be interested to hire help like her in a heartbeat! #1 the sell both beautiful gowns for every occasion like slutty club wear to weddings lol AND they carry a full line of accessories to go with the dress in the attached accessory store.!!! #2 For those on a budget or fixed income THEY HAVE LAYAWAY/PAYMENT PLAN!!!!! how cool and convenient is that, huh!!! #3 the staff (at least the ones helping me and my friend) were all knowledgeable and nice as well as patient. #4 store is divided long gowns in one are ball gowns in another and short gowns in another and club/non formal in another. so all you have to do is find which section your looking for and stay there since all you need will be in that area. This made me very happy since i was looking for a long ball gown!!! Tips for shopping at this store: It is in a busy mall in a high traffic kind of area in the mall. #1 For best service go early in the day when its less crowded and go on a weekday when it is sure to be a little slower. This will give you a better shot at getting your needs met, friendly service, patient helpers, and browsing time with out being shoulder to shoulder with strangers in the aisle. #2 Go with a friend or family member who knows your style and personality well so that you can look faster pull more items and get good honest opinions on how you look and if it fits who you are. #3 If you know you will be wearing spanx or a girdle, then take it with you when you go to try on dresses it will give you the best look and feel of the dress. #4 Wear a strapless bra or bra with clear or detachable straps so you will see the dress style and silhouette better. And bring heels too, in the height you will be wearing. Keeps you from having to guess at how long it will be with heels on. #5 Have time on your side this is not a quick process as they have hundreds of dresses in each section of the store and a whole store of accessories. read more

OUTSTANDING! That was my experience @ the Woodfield store. I was unfamiliar with the store, so I hesitated to go in at first. My daughter & I were shopping for prom dresses with no luck. When we stopped in this store, the staff was friendly & helpful. Ana was especially nice to work with. She made sure my daughter's dress was altered in time for the big day. The selection here is the best I've seen, & the dresses are less expensive than stores llike PEACHES. We will definitely be back! read more

hello i went to the store the First Lady helped me was amazing then I went back to the store it was a new lady saying she's the manager first of all I asked what kind of discount do the bride get for having all 8 of my bridesmaids and 3 flower girls dresses the manager laughed at me and told me i was getting a deal from her by letting me change a dress that was ordered but I ordered the dress one day went back the next day to switch so what deal are you giving me if the dress haven't even been got to the store and she said it takes 3 weeks for the dress to come in the manager was very rude will never shop there again I spent over 1,300 dollars and changing a dress was my discount wow read more

Found my wedding dress there, it is so different from anything in a regular bridal store. I was sooooo happy with the dress! The staff were very friendly and helpful too. They looked around for the right size for me (I was going to buy a bigger size and have it altered) but they found the right size. So excited! Also spend significantly less money here than at any bridal store. Another plus is no alterations are needed. Not even hemming. So happy with this purchase! read more

My daughter bought a gown there. She got it home and found a flaw they refused to exchange it or even give store credit the next day. The staff was rude and condescending. The management was ignorant and just ignored us. We told them we where going to give bad reviews and they didn't care. The other reviews here look like they where written by the staff. read more

Worst place I've ever been to, all of their dresses are defective as if they were from the second hand store. Unfortunately my friend bought a dress and did not realize it had a rip on it, when she tried to exchange it they decline. Worst customer service. I will never shop at this store again, very bad experience. Shopped for a prom dress, they didn't have the size in the color so tried on the dress in a different color and had to order correct size. When the dress came back it did not fit. The store employees stated that it was different because of the color. I never heard something so crazy. The staff was very rude when we asked for another dress. They wanted to charge a fee because they sell irregular merchandise. We had to shop for a new dress (prom a week away. I found a wonderful dress for my wedding at the Ford City Store. I purchased in in January for pick in August for my Sept. wedding. I went yesterday for my fitting and was very disappointed in the services and the disrespect I received from who I think was either the manager or owner of that store. I am a Black woman who was told when I bought the dress in January that alterations would be $25.00 when I came for the fitting in August. We indicated then (Jan.) that alterations in the bust-line and hemming was going to be required, and again the sales lady confirmed that those alterations would cost an additional $25.00 separate from the cost of the dress. When I went for the fitting yesterday, there was a problem with the way the dress fit and they suggested getting a larger size and said there would be a $15.00 fee to change the size (which I thought was reasonable), so I agreed to pay. I was then told that alterations did not include hemming and that it would be an additional $ 30.00, and a $10.00 fee for something (I don't remember what, I was so mad), for a total of $ 80.00. The manage/owner was also unprofessional and disrespectful and went so much as to tell me if I didn't like it I could take my dress (which was paid for in Jan) and take it to someone else to alter it (knowing that for a wedding in less than a month it was not an option). She then proceeded to turn her back to us and walked away, and never acknowledged us or try to comply with the original agreement stated at the time of the purchase. She originally that the person who sold us the dress would have to pay the difference, then the sales person told us that there was no way to find out who that was. However, you could see the owner get on the phone and call someone and bless them out I think in Korean. and the sales person yesterday had to sign their portion of the receipt (so you know it was a lie). In the future if you want to buy a something form Mom, Dad, & Me I would suggest that you find another location to ensure you get the quality service you deserve when spending your hard earned money. This is a great dress store! I went in after several unsuccessful searches at various other stores and found exactly what i wanted at this store! The dress was at the right price (60 bucks) and it wasn't the only one that I liked. their selection was large and great! I also found all of my accessories, jewelry and clutch (also at good prices). The girls working there were very polite and happy to help me, they even picked out dresses that they thought i would like ( which i did like). I think that if you want to find your perfect dress with little to no hassle then definitely visit this store! read more
