Extremely Disappointing Experience…read more I was recommended this place to buy my daughter's dress, and a couple of months ago, we went to see what options they had. When we arrived, the only person in the store at that moment was busy with three women at the counter. She saw us walk in, but didn't acknowledge us, not even a simple "I'll be with you in a moment" or "Please give me a few minutes." We overlooked this because she was the only one working, and we understood she was attending to customers. However, what followed was humiliating. About five minutes later, the women she was helping left, and instead of addressing us, she chose to ignore us, arrange things on the counter, and then head to the back of the store without saying a single word. No "Excuse me" or "I'll be right with you." It felt like she thought that if she ignored us, we would just leave. Since we stayed because we wanted to see dresses, another five minutes passed before my sister had to go find her in the back. When she finally came out, instead of apologizing, she gave us attitude, and the very first thing she asked before even offering any help was, "What's your budget? So I can see if I have something," in an arrogant and dismissive tone. To this day, I don't understand why she was bothered by our presence or why she treated us that way. The moral of the story: give your business to those who treat you well. We ended up buying the dress at Peaches. I had to drive to the city, but the service we received there was outstanding--and, ironically, we were helped by young ladies, not by a woman over 40 who should know better. If I could give this place negative five stars, I would. My intention was to support a local business, but in the end, driving farther to the city was absolutely worth it for the professionalism and respect we received elsewhere.

We went from pure excitement to utter shock!! Never have myself or my friend been treated so rudely. No apology, no nothing but just turning around and the door shutting behind us. Reading the other review on here, I do think that they should be more upfront about their return/exchange policies if a customer were to purchase from them. It's easy to assume they are final sale, but I would ask to make sure. I asked if they could put a few items on hold for me, and they said they would for an undetermined amount of time. I told her that my daughter lives far away. She said there policy is typical of most boutiques. No Online Store, etc...Pretty aggravated since she never mentioned that policy when I was clearly unsure of the purchase. My daughter lives no where near one if the few boutiques they have (Milwaukee and Lake Geneva). Never again.

So Boilingbrook has some serious stores and thats great for local comuting on my side of the world…read more We went here after leaving athlet's foot and food a very AWESOME pair of Timberland Loafers that we've never seen ONE PERSON in Chicagoland wearing so guess what we brought them and he wore them to the concert :) His cousins reaction was great they thought they were "slick" and so did I he looked good with the shoes on and they definitely completed the outfit. Would recommend for finds that no one else may have :)
