I recently purchased a dress here, coming in with a strict budget and idea that I wanted a longer dress for a formal event. Many of their dresses in the front of the store are short dresses, while longer dresses are in the back. This store sells purely formal dresses, as well as some accessories. Their dresses are beautiful, many with encrusted gems, embroidery, and lace. They are also very organized by style, color, and size, keeping at least 1 of every size on the rack. There are fitting rooms in the back, with a curtain that you can pull open or closed. I was dissatisfied with how the curtain does not fully close as one of the curtain rings was unattached to the curtain. The cashier could have been more welcoming and attentive to my needs, but I received the most help from an attendant in the back. Even though she was on her break, she agreed to help me decide on a dress and help me hold the phone to show my relative the dress. Prices are very reasonable, as they are reduced from their full price. Know that this store is final sale, no refunds or exchanges. That means you should fully check your purchase before you pay for the item, because I wouldn't expect any service after the fact. read more

The sales ladies were friendly, but let me take my time and select my own dresses to build a fitting room. I didn't find exactly what I was looking for, but was impressed with the selection of styles, sizes, and formality. They had everything from short, glitzy cocktail dresses to simple bridesmaid styles and beaded, formal ballgowns. Date of sale 6/19/2011....I needed a dress for my daughter. The clerk said returns were not a problem and I could bring it back. The dress was never worn, not even out of the bag. The manager said there is a no return policy. It wasn't posted anywhere when we looked at the store front, nor at the register. It is typed on the bottom of the receipt. That come out AFTER you paid for it. Therefore, I lost over $200.00, within seconds of the transaction. Tried to go up the ladder to return the dress and get my money back. Upper management couldn't care less. I still have the receipt.....to remind me how low some can go. read more

Went to the North Riverside location on August 2nd to pick out a flower girl dress for my daughter. Once I had the dress I really liked, I placed the dress on layaway. The young lady was very helpful and gave me my layaway slip THAT SHE MADE OUT along with another girl that works there. Fast forward to August 16th, I hand the ticket to yet another girl that works there. She comes back with a different dress. Same size and color but the design was different. I showed the girl a photo of the dress that I picked out and that SHOULD HAVE been on layaway. Now both girls at the counter are looking confused. They keep asking about who checked me out (mind you on of the girls standing up there was there the day I picked the dress)and am I sure this isn't the correct dress. I tell them that the dress I have in the photo is the one I want. So one of the girls goes and finds the dress I originally picked out. Instead of them flat out saying their coworker made a mistake and that she scanned the wrong dress, they tell me the dress I want is going to be an additional $20. I'm not paying extra because of a mistake YOU guys made. I asked to speak to a manager and apparently this person isn't available unless the workers call them on the phone. Customers can't speak with them (which I feel is bs) One of the girls speaks with the manager and comes back saying she can't do the exchange....WHAT EXCHANGE? YOU checked off the wrong dress without verifying that it was the one I wanted. So instead of them admitting they were wrong and giving me the dress I was originally supposed to get, they let a customer walk out the door unsatisfied and angry. What if I needed matching dresses? What if the dress had to be a particular color? Guess I would've been SOL. They really need to work on their customer service and management skills instead of putting up a million signs telling you no exchanges/returns on anything. If the girls had admitted they were wrong and gave me the dress, I would've been fine with that but they basically did nothing to make me happy. If you decide to shop here take a video and make 100% sure YOU document your item...might try to pull the bait and switch on you too just to get more money. read more

I purchased a dress for my daughter and spent extra money to add removable straps so it would cover bra straps and when we picked it up the straps were just 2 strips of fabric too thin and placed wrong that it served no purpose. I was very dissapointed. Ive purchased from many dress shops and always had alterations that were a much better quality than this awful place. When I tried to talk to the asian gentleman about it he immediately became defensive and blamed it on us not understanding how the straps are placed and we were unrealistic. Its straps dude...not rocket science!. We had no time for them to correct it and to be honest i doubt it would have made a difference...and he said thats all they could do. No refund..not even for $20 of alterations. Theyd rather lose a customer and gey a terrible review than make it right...and he had the worst customer service ever. He argued and told me "im sorry you feel victimized". I never even said that! He was a total jerk. I will NEVER shop at this store again, if nothing more than for the worst customer service ive ever experienced. read more

I purchased a dress for my daughter's baptism at this store on September 10, 2015. It was for my daughter's baptism which took place on Sep. 12. The night before she was to wear it I unbagged it and discover it had the sensor on it. I call them twice and tell them about it, I even tell them that I have to drive 1 hour to get there and never received a call back from the manager. I had to personally go to the store and tell them what was going on. Mind you that this dress was not used because of their negligence. I had to run and buy another dress for my daughter the morning of the event. Their store policy states no returns or exchanges which I totally understand but it was their fault I didn't use the dress because it still had the sensor on it. You expect that when you buy something it's good to use right away. I went to the store and all they could say was No returns even if it was their fault. They inspected the dress and saw that it was unused. The cashier even later accused me of putting the sensor there saying that the alarm would have gone off if it did have the sensor. They said they checked the cameras and saw that she took the sensor off which is obviously b.s. Obviously their sensors are off and do not work because when I walked back in with the dress the alarms didnt go off. They took the sensor off the dress and asked me if I wanted it back. Like are you kidding me? They expected me to leave without the dress and a return of my money! The manager Jenna just left me talking and walked away and let the cashier try to handle her mistake. When I purchased this dress two cashiers bagged the dress together and they both didnt figure that they should have taken the sensor off. Now Im out $65 and have an useless dress in my closet. This store has the worse customer service ever, not even apologetic and instead get defensive on you. Im never going to buy at this store again and I recommend you dont either. read more
