The new location was getting a lot of coverage on IG and we decided to try it. After walking around Green Lake we got to Momi around 7pm and were seated immediately. It got busy after that and we saw people waiting for tables while we were eating. We got Goat Fry Biryani and Avakai Chicken Biryani. We liked both the biryanis and will be back to try more.

A new restaurant that is working to find its feet. The food was good, the portions were large, but the overall dining experience was shaky. The staff was friendly. Menu issues: The menu is on a QR code and was so long and cumbersome to scroll through that we struggled to find the items we were looking for past all the biryani choices. I don't like exclusively rice dishes. Luckily my date noticed that there were other types of dishes hidden past the dessert tabs of the online menu! The people next to us didn't look as comfortable ordering from the QR code and just left instead of ordering. My bet is that they did not see that there was anything other than the rice dishes on the menu. Truly, there may have been 20 types of biryani. When the food did come, it came a little bit out of order. The food was very flavorful and the portions were large. My dinner date really enjoyed the lamb biryani. The saag paneer was good but there were chunks of the sauce that needed to be stirred in better before served. The prices were reasonable. I would say get takeout instead, but the person waiting for takeout was there for a long time and barely got the takeout order by the time we had eaten and left. Or maybe the person got there very early. They were apologizing a bunch to the person. Unclear. It seems this is a new restaurant working to get its issues out between front and back of house. If you like Indian food, this review is from our experience in May 2025. Check it out in a few months. I bet it'll be an amazing well-run restaurant with good food by then!

Decided to stop and really enjoyed the experience. Food came out pretty quick and was very tasty. Ordered the gobi Manchurian, lamb fry biryani, butter chicken, and some garlic naan. All of the dishes were delicious. The menu can be a bit overwhelming but I'm looking forward to coming back again

I'm not sure what happened on my last visit as the curries were on the colder side. When you arrive parking can be a bit difficult, there is a small parking lot out front, if that's full you'll need to find street park. The restaurant itself feels warm, casual, and bustling. Queen you walk in you have the option to sit on the backyard patio or in the dining room. We opted to sit in the dining room as it just felt more intimate and the vibe we were wanting for dinner. For our appetizer, we started with the Samosas (Two crispy pastries filled with your choice of freshly mixed vegetables or delicately spiced lean ground beef) which were excellent. Next we ordered the garlic naan, chicken tikka masala, and butter chicken. The naan and samosas showed up piping hot but the chicken tikka masala & butter chicken were cold. I probably should have said something as I was disappointed but was too hungry to care at that moment. If I'm in the Seattle area I may stop by Taste of India again.

Honestly this place is great for a small snack anyway. We got the bhel puri (not pictured) and a lamb kebab roll. It was my first time ever having bhel puri and I liked it! I enjoyed nibbling on the rice puffs but found that I needed a protein or else I would get flavor fatigue. We ended up placing a second order for the lamb kebab roll, which was AMAZING. Lamb is already my favorite protein so I knew I was going to like it, but I didn't expect it to be so good. It was very well seasoned and even a little juicy. I wouldn't say I have a small appetite, but I found this one roll to be a perfect portion for lunch. Service: (5/5) It's a very casual spot so you order at the counter and bus everything yourself. They're very nice, no other notes needed!

Well better late than never I guess as we finally made it here and simply loved the food! I got my favorite when it comes to Indian cuisine which was the Chicken Vindaloo. It was wonderful! Steve liked his dish as well (though I can't quite remember what it is)! We got some Garlic Naan to go along with our meal. It was huge! But we chowed it down and loved every moment of it! From the bar which I think is called the Yeti Bar we got some Saffron infused cocktails. The one I picked was the Madras. It wad very good and this type of vodka added a great, unique dimension to the cocktail. We loved it! We to finish off this great meal we got some dessert with some deep fried goodness along with some cream. Yes, we had a fantastic meal here and really went all out by trying everything. I am not expecting to dine in here or use any utensils or cutlery. Just eat a burger. Anyways the burger itself was at best average. It wasn't bad - pretty edible but was smaller compared to other joints. There is a reason why Burger and Kebab hut despite having questionable hygienic standard is tough to beat for Indian Style Burgers. Talking about the ambience - the place is pretty nice. The butter chicken was absolutely decadent and flavorful. I got a medium spice (3 stars), and not gonna lie, that might be my upper limit, and I can generally handle my spices. It was a flavorful spicy, not a burn-your-mouth-and-can't-taste kind of spicy, and with the rice and naan, it was not too strong. I am looking forward to going back and trying other dishes.
