The brisket was amazing. It fell apart and practically melted when we ate it. The ribs were also pretty good and didn't require gnawing at the bone or around the bone to get the meat and enjoy it. The tri tip seemed a bit more on the dry side and was maybe even a bit on the chewy side (?). I didn't try the potato salad but my husband said it was good and our child seemed to like it, too. The Mac n cheese has probably got to be the most amazing, incredible, greatest Mac n cheese I've EVER had in my life!!! The meat was covered in sauce and while I tend to go for dry rub, it did NOT taste too sweet, spicy, and was not overpowering or even too much for me. The corn muffin sadly was just MUCH too dry. The burger for the locos were excellent and the gravy.....I coulda asked for a cup of gravy just to drink on the road! I asked if they can cook my burger plain no salt or pepper for our pup but their burgers are already seasoned so the gal (sorry! I forgot her name) made a special plate lunch for her with slices of beef with mixed veggies for her. She devoured it and probably coulda ate three more portions but we had a 3 hour drive home back to Sac and didn't want to make any extra stops so she had to suffer. There was a family of three that came 15 mins after we did... we barley got one round (no waters, the bus boy served us waters, waiter over worked) they got two rounds plus there food.
