The good. Prices are great and place is very clean. The rest. Service was meh. No one gave us their name and I felt like we were annoying them by by being there. Their soft drinks had no carbonation and they could fix it and didn't seem to understand why it was an issue. I got tea instead and it was not good. Took a lot longer than typical to get our food. My husband had biscuits and gravy and and the flour was not cooked out. I had the Eggs Benedict and the Hollandaise was weirdly sweet and English Muffin was under toasted so it turned soggy. All of the food was cold. Kids French Toast was tasty but cold. My daughter and I had breakfast here this week. I'm vegan and they made me a delicious vegetable stir-fry. I loved the homemade rye bread and strawberry jam. My daughter enjoyed her breakfast too. The service is good and Mamma Meg is friendly. I'd go back! read more

First time here... and, unfortunately the last. Restaurant was full but not overly busy for a late Sunday morning. Service was slow, had to ask for place settings. Biscuits and homemade sausage gravy was lukewarm and had to go back to get reheated, (which didn't help much) and was a bit on the bland side. Breakfast scramble was watery at the bottom, leading us to believe that frozen vegetables were used. Glass of water water had little mysterious black spots inside the cup... asked for lemon with my water and received 4 little tiny quartered slices with more rind than lemon meat. Cute little cafe! Coffee was brewed perfectly and staff was readily available to provide a 2nd cup! I did a simple 2 eggs, bacon, home fries and toast and everything was delicious. Their rye toast with homemade peach jam is to DIE FOR. I wanted to take the loaf and the ham home! read more

The food was terrible and the service was something out of comedy skit. Our server could barely walk across the very small dining room carry our drinks in her pocket of her apron, and brought our food out and his steam table tray. I don't think I need to say anymore. read more

Had the Fish fry was awesome , and I love my fish (not greasy ) and my mom had her Meatloaf she said it was so good , she eat it all and her a piece of dessert and she was full and happy too thats a plus for me ........ Still love Momma Meg's! We met some family members there for breakfast yesterday morning. The restaurant is casual and welcoming, the service was extremely friendly, the food was fresh and tasty, and the price was dirt-cheap for the value of what we ordered. I had the cheese omelet with hash browns, toast, and coffee. Special mention of the blackberry jam which was awesome!! We'll be back next time we're in the Micco neighborhood. read more

Have been going here almost 2 years for breakfast most weekends. The food is always great. I've read reviews that are negative and thats fine, everyone has there own opinion. I know without a doubt that if theres an issue, Meg the owner is always there and will address your concern and make it right. She also hires staff that are high schoolers and other folks in the community. Again, if theres a concern over the staff for any reason, speak to the owner, dont trash the business online. My husband and I ate there last night. I had the meat loaf and he had Irish beef stew. Both portions were more than we could eat so you know what we are having for dinner tomorrow. The salad was excellent but the green beans were a bit cold. The meat loaf was good as was the Irish stew. We would definitely go back. read more

Ok, we had breakfast . Meg was kind and served us with a smile . However, her son must have been cooking , the meats lovers omelet was ok. The vegetable o. Was fresh and very good. With that said, when they switch cooks the son came out to take orders , with no pad in hand ! We figure like all season waiters he would remember their orders NOT!. Took him 30minutes to take a order, then the table he started taking a order from, inform him they other table has been waiting to order. Now, there was only 11 people in the place including us. No lie , he went back to the 2 tables 4 or more times to ask them what exactly what they wanted? Meanwhile 4 people walk out! Took us 20 minutes to get the check. When we payed our check with a debt card there is a 4 percent service charge . Please, let people know when they are seated the payment options. Recommendations, Don't employee family if they cannot listen and obey company policy or move their ass. Also, don't throw meat in the food processor for a meat lovers omelet. Maybe the lunch is far better then breakfast who knows we will never go back. Hire a season waitress who loves her job. If your tired of the business get out!
