We recently ordered GF Thanksgiving pies here. The pumpkin pie was good and the apple pie was excellent. The crust was SO GOOD! (We got GF pies at a different GF specialty shop last year, and the crust was not so good, even though that other place has a fantastic GF chicken pot pie with an amazing crust). We also recently tried the short rib ravioli - there are only 12 pieces in a container but they taste ah-ma-zing! Other baked goods here (cookies, cupcakes, muffins, etc.) are also very good. I've known of Impasta since they opened, but embarrassed to say that I had never stopped by. I saw that they had some pumpkin cheesecake available, so I sent a message via IG and was able to pick up a slice that day. I went in to pick it up and also say the cookies and cream cake cup and couldn't go home without one. Everyone there is super friendly. It's a small trendy spot and they offer items daily, as available,l; generally baked goods, including a variety of scones. The pumpkin cheesecake was delicious! Couldn't even tell it was gf. The crust was perfect! And the cookies and cream cake?? OMG!!! DELICIOUS! The cake was so moist, which is difficult to find sometimes when it's gf. The cream and GF oreos were the best combination. I went back the other day and grabbed a mini cheesecake with blueberry sauce and a ham and cheese scone. So yummy! I'm excited that they are right in my neighborhood too. I usually like to add photos of the food I eat (especially for a place without many pics), but my family and I CRUSHED the macarons, tiramisu, and scones before I even thought to take out my phone. The macarons especially were out of this world! My family is strict GF, so finding a place like this is huge for us. I personally am not GF, so it's double bonus when I'm as impressed as my wife on a dessert! We got meatballs and lasagna too, so standby for an updated review when I eat them (it's carryout so pasta has to be boiled at home). They have menus to order for the holidays but it ends today for Christmas. Next year for sure we'll be all over it. Customer service was really pleasant (locally owned family business) and everyone wore gloves/masks. They wiped down the credit card reader with every swipe. This is where the pizza hut used to be, next to the speedway gas station. Hard to miss and you'll regret it if you do. read more

I have had their pizza, different raviolis, all of their sauces, scones, specialties including various cakes, including birthday cake, cheesecake, pound cake, etc. All delicious, moist, crispy when called for, and does not make me miss gluten or dairy at all when eating. Offerings are reasonably priced and taste amazing, and mind you I am not even gluten or dairy free. I love the owners and they are awesome and super friendly. Great neighborhood spot that I will try and visit often. They are professionally trained from culinary school and high end restaurants and great at what they do. The execution is always ON POINT The rotating menu for various holidays has also been great every time I have tried. It is freaking awesome and you should check it out if you haven't. read more

Coming back to leave another review...this time for their Thanksgiving sides/dessert. We ordered the green bean casserole, the roasted potatoes, the stuffing, gravy, and a pumpkin cheesecake. Delicious, all of it! We will def be ordering from them, again, for holiday sides!! The pumpkin cheesecake is amazing...if you like a thick/dense/creamy cheesecake, you will love this. If you'd like to find the best gluten free pasta, look no further. Impasta is run by a couple who are both have a culinary background. You can tell just by how the food here tastes. I've had their ravioli with pesto sauce and licked the bowl clean. This is a must try! read more

I had to brush off my 8 year old Yelp account so I can write this review. There aren't many places in Damascus where you can get gluten free stuff and that list gets even smaller when you're dealing with GOOD tasting gluten free stuff. This place is an absolute GEM . Whether it's the pasta or the pastries, you can't even tell it's gluten free. They recently had this seasonal bundt cake available and I probably gained 5 pounds alone from eating that for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I know I'm gushing about the desserts but the pasta is equally good. The spinach ricotta pasta is amazing. Make sure you eat it soon after purchasing though! read more

This was actually my first time trying a gluten free, dairy free dessert and I cannot get over how amazing this cake is! It looks incredible and tastes incredible. My husband is not a fan of gluten free desserts and said this was the best chocolate cake he's ever had. My entire family was floored when they saw the cake, and it made my dad's 60th birthday so special. Erica was incredibly thoughtful and kind and made the process so easy. Absolutely love this place! 5 stars on all fronts -quality, craftsmanship, and customer service. Their tiramisu is by far the best; super light and fluffy deliciousness! A few days ago I read about Impasta opening and couldn't wait to check it out. Went by today and picked up tiramisu and spinach ricotta ravioli. I haven't had the ravioli yet but I had the tiramisu for dessert and it was so damn good. As someone who was diagnosed with celiac disease last year, I can't express how excited I am to have a go-to place for pasta and desserts that fit into my diet without having to sacrifice quality and taste. Oh. My. Gosh. I did not think anything could rival Gluuteny in Pittsburgh but Impasta has done it. The pasta (ravioli!) was delicious and the desserts, oh, the desserts!
