A cute little spot to grab delicious food away from the hustle and bustle of the city. There's a few large tables inside that can comfortably fit 5-6 each. We tried palaak paneer, choila momo and the paneer Tikka lunch special. Others also got samosa Chaat, Manchurian Momo's fried and one more. Everything was yummy. We asked for our palak paneer to be spicy and it was very mild and needed a touch of salt. Paneer was soft and cut into giant slices. Servings are generous and well worth the price point.

Friendly staff. You order at the register and pick the table you want. Not much seating, so keep that in mind. The food was amazing. Great portions. Very flavorful

I went to the other location up in Lakeview several years ago and remembered how much I enjoyed Momo Factory so I was thrilled to see another one in the River North area. The inside of the restaurant was well-lit and clean with numerous tables. My friend and I decided to order takeout and got the following: - Chicken Momo (I forgot which one I got but I believe it was the steamed or Jhol) - Veggie Momo (fried with curry sauce on top) - Chana Masala ( I'm not certain if this was the dish my friend and I got but it was a chickpea/vegetarian dish) Honestly, everything we ordered was fantastic- even the fried food items maintained that satisfying crunch texture despite it being covered in the curry sauce (this is something many restaurants struggle to do with takeout but not Momo Factory!) I also loved how there's so many different types of Momo (steamed, fried, chiola, mandheko, jhol, manchurian, etc) Every bite was just flavortown and I cannot reccommend this spot enough. Momo Factory will forever be one of my favorite spots to visit in Chicago and I'm already looking forward to coming back and visiting when I'm in town next.

Momo Factory is an example of places you discover when walking around any Chicago neighborhood--unique and unpretentious. The food speaks for itself. Previously, I had never had Nepalese food, but I'll definitely be having more in the future. We ordered the vegetarian Butter-toasted Momo and the paneer Luscious Tikka Momo. Both were very good, but the latter was our favorite. The sauce from the Tikka was delectably creamy and was generously coated on the momo. We also ordered a side of the garlic naan so as to not let any of the sauce go to waste. The gentleman working the register was also our server, and he was very kind and provided us a recommendation on which dish we would enjoy. If you're in the mood for trying something different while still enjoying great food, I would give Momo Factory a try!

Incredible! Been wanting to try Momo Factory for a while now and finally ordered delivery. The Butter Curry Masala Momo - Rich creamy butter masala with plump chicken dumplings floating in the sauce. The flavor of the sauce is exceptional. The dumplings soak up some of the sauce but also you get the flavor of the filling. This might be one of my new fav dishes. Comes with a side of rice. The nann is huge. We got two and could have easily shared one. The Garlic chili noodles with chicken were really good, but a bit spicy. The flavors are excellent and they add a lot of chicken. Might skip this one next time but it's worth trying, especially if you like spice. Glad to have this location which is much closer to us than the other one.

This place is SO good. Ordered delivery and everything was so fresh and packed with so much flavor. The chicken tikki momo and samosa chaat were actually incredible and I would eat it every day if I could. Super authentic!!

Visited from New Mexico and this place was basically across the street from our hotel in River North. It was amazing! We got various noodle dishes and they were flavorful and felt somehow similar yet unique to other Asian noodle dishes we've had before. Mine had a kick to it and was a delicious vegetarian version but my boyfriend and kids both got meat. My kids' noodles weren't spicy and they devoured them too. The garlic naan was also super flavorful, garlic heavy which is how it should be! If I'm back in Chicago I will totally go again

The food was really nice, also the portion size. Great value for money. The service was quite quick too. I would definitely recommend the 'Jhol Momo', it comes with a soup like gravy which is very comforting on a rainy day. They have great options for both vegetarian and non vegetarian. The ambiance is like a hole-in-a-wall kind of vibe, not very aesthetic, but then again such places have the best kind of food.

I've been here a couple of times now. Each time we ordered different things to try. The food is really good which is what keeps us going back over and over. I do think that the restaurant itself could use some TLC and the service is a bit slow sometimes. I'll most likely still go again because of the food :)

I love the food from momo factory. The place is small but they have enough seating. The service can get a bit slow during peak hours. I am a big fan of their tandoori momo and their dal makhani. Their jhol momo is great too. The best dish is their veg chili garlic noodles, so yum!!!!! Their fried dishes are too oily in my opinion. Their fried momo and samosas are the fried dishes that I have tried and found them too oily for my liking. Please steer away from their potato chilli if you have a low spice tolerance. My mouth was on fire after eating that. Overall, a great inexpensive place to get delicious food from.

Really good stuff. Super much flavor and nice guy at the front desk. Spicy AF but that's how I like it. Would come back for sure.

Everything was well prepared, but the fried chicken was the standout, especially with the hot sauce adding another level of flavor. The staff stayed attentive throughout dinner and even replaced our plates between rounds, which was a level of service I wasn't expecting. I also respected seeing the owner personally making the rounds, stopping at every table to check on the guests and the food. Calm atmosphere, solid hospitality, and a kitchen that delivers.

As it happened, the cafe I wanted to check out was mobbed with a line down the street, and my boyfriend expressed wanting a full meal. A quick look at the map confirmed we were close to The Dearborn, and they were opening in about 10 minutes. Perfect. We detoured to view the Chicago Picasso and waited until open to walk in. Upon arrival, there were already several parties waiting to be seated, which is a clear indicator of the restaurant's popularity. We were seated not long after along the row of seated half booths in the room behind the bar. Our server, Melissa, was soooo friendly and lovely. She gave us some suggestions on other spots to visit too. We were both planning on starting with the horchata carajillo cocktail, but Melissa sold me with their brunch punch of the day - pineapple gin, yuzu, raspberry syrup, lemon, and soda water. Both cocktails were incredible, and my boyfriend and I were both buzzing before 11 am haha. *We did also order coffees - their cappuccino was delightful. In terms of food, we decided to start with the croissant monkey bread. As you can see, I took a bite before we even put the sauce on top - it was that irresistible. For potentially the first time ever, my boyfriend and I equally shared a dish. Typically, he eats faster and more than me, but I made sure to keep up - it was way too good to miss out. For my meal, I ordered the four cheese tavern-style pizza (fontina, gruyere, gouda, mozzarella, chives, garlic butter), and my boyfriend selected the fried perch benedict. I tried a bite of his, and it was lovely, but I was more focused on my pizza. To be clear, the pizza is 14 inches and easily could have been shared by both of us. In fact, he did indeed eat all of the leftovers later that night. This was hands down our favorite dining experience during our long weekend in Chicago, and I need to revisit on a future trip to try their famous fish & chips.

Since then, I've had crab cakes all over the U.S. and Hugo's remained my gold standard. Tonight, 12 years later, we returned to Hugo's on Rush Street downtown Chicago. We had a 6 pm reservation on a Monday night. We were given the option to eat in the special Elevator Car, so we chose it. It was a bit tight getting into the bench seating but once in, we were quite comfortable and it was really quaint. I'm glad we chose it. Our server tonight was Stephanie O and she was amazing. So knowledgeable, so pleasant and very accommodating. We told Stephanie we planned to take it a bit slow, starting with cocktails. She took our cocktail orders and we took our time enjoying them, admiring our special Elevator Car and pondering dinner options. Of course, a Crab Cake was definitely happening! Stephanie checked in with us from time to time and when we were ready, we asked her to drop a Crab Cake order. Oh my - it was amazing, just like the last time! Just enough breadcrumbs in it to hold it together. Baked, then seared on both sides on the flat top and served with their house made remoulade. For us, this menu item and a service as great as it was from Stephanie and the rest of the team was enough of a reason to come to Hugo's. After we'd finished sharing the Crab Cake, Stephanie stopped by with the fresh fish options platter to explain each one to us, how it would be prepared and what it would be like. We nearly went for the Snapper but dropped back to our original thought of trying their Shrimp De Jonghe along with a dinner salad. So glad we did as the Shrimp De Jonghe was really tasty and just enough food. The salad and shrimp meal were both kitchen-split for us. Nice touch - thanks team! I have to add that we've had Shrimp De Jonghe somewhere else and we recall it as not being as good as Hugo's. I like how their breadcrumb on the shrimp here was less a breading and more of a dusting. I'd like to mention the rest of the staff we saw in action. The hostesses were quite pleasant, found our reservation and seated us with pleasure. The table team from the water guy, to him and others clearing completed items was excellent. The chef or one of the cooks brought out our split Shrimp De Jonghe. That was a nice touch. And of course our server Stephanie - amazing. Great meal tonight at Hugo's and over the top service from everyone. We will be back - maybe even this week.

I really loved it and will definitely be coming back! The only thing that was a little disappointing was that there were quite a few flies flying around inside, and they would occasionally try to land on the food, which was not very pleasant.
