This place is incredible! We are pretty much vegetarian and we also recently gave up dairy. This place has incredible vegetarian food. For those that eat meat, there are plenty of options as well. Their vegetarian dishes are mostly lentil-based. We got the fried dumplings and they are so good. We also got the vegetable Samosa and it was very tasty. Was scouring door dash looking for something other than the typical restaurants that I order from & when I saw a review for biryani (a favorite of mine), I placed the order and hoped for the best. Not gonna lie, I was by myself but so many things looked amazing that I ended up ordering $55 worth of food just for myself! Chicken biryani, chow mein, chicken moms & garlic naan - bonus that they also sell ben & jerry's pints as well as some bottled wine options. LET ME TELL YOU, every single item was not only cooked perfectly but the flavor of everything was absolutely phenomenal! This was also the first time I had a delivery order still show up hot, too - I live in the West Loop & they are located in Lakeview, something they're doing is absolutely right. I will probably make this my new cheat meal order spot on a weekly basis. The only issue now is that I know I'll be spending $50+ on this place every single time because how will I say no to anything at this point! Don't question it, just get the food. I ordered a chicken samosa and dojar bowl via Postmates. I liked both but the dojar bowl was unbelievably delicious - the dumplings dough was not too thick and the noodles were so tiny. Came in the evening on opening day and the place certainly was busy. The staff were very friendly. We got the meal plates with noodles and meat with momos. The meat and sauces were tastyyy. Noodles were a bit lackluster. Momos were pretty good but fell apart very easily. Their mango lassi was different and definitely more flavorful. My experience would have been better if there were paper menus or signage explaining what everything was. Nonetheless, the staff were great and I'm sure the kinks will be worked out. First I want to say everyone was super friendly. I was passing by, not even thinking I would eat out for lunch, but I was intrigued. I walked in only half sure of what I wanted to order but when I stepped to the counter I decided to order the chicken biryani they advertised outside instead. They asked if I wanted mild or spicy and I asked for the spicy which had a nice kick. (I eat spicy good in general so it's my baseline.) It was good and I definitely don't regret stopping in. Since our first time ordering Momo Factory about 3 months ago, we have gotten it pretty much weekly. We are obsessed with the Veg Biryani (we think it's better than any of the meat biryani options), the Palak Paneer (I order this every time, it's too good), and the veg samosas. The momo are wonderful too, we always get extra mild sauce to drown them in. And - the carry out containers are so great, we didn't have to buy any Tupperware when we moved! read more

I've walked past Momo Factory twice in the past week and both times was distracted from my errands by the draw of momos. First I tried the fried momos with chicken, which were absolutely fresh and had great texture. The second time I sprang for the northeast Manchurian momo, which came in a delicious sauce of peppers and with a side of (basmati? jasmine? not sure) rice. Ordered and enjoyed the Jhol Momo Dumplings, Choila momo Dumplings, Chicken Choila BBQ Chicken last night. Not knowing much about Nepal cuisine, as well as not having it at all, there is an underlying tone of the same curry/fengreek flavor throughout the three dishes. Obviously the ones that say curry you would expect, but other descriptions are vague and says nepal spices. Overall, nice flavor and spice, would order again. read more

We ordered chili momos, manchurian, pepper chili chicken and chili garlic noodles. Both the momos were very tasty but I personally enjoyed the manchurian momos. They are halal and the quality of chicken was good. The only thing I didn't like was that the noodles and chicken gravy were very greasy. Great food! Since they expanded and changed their menu everything has been amazing. Every single dish I've tried is flavorful and different.

It's .. alright. Good momos but nothing to go out of your way for. At the price, they are a tad overpriced. I can see maybe $5 for a plate of 8 given the size- especially the veggie momos. Very limited options. Basically momos that are dressed up slightly different. One basic sauce. Chiya Chai is better. More variety. Momos included but a lot more! read more

No joke the best samosa I've ever had. I got the chicken one but the dough and mint sauce was so good, I bet the vegetable is the incredible too. I also got the Choila Momo Dumplings and they were A-MAZING. I've had homemade momo and ones from all over and these were honestly top notch. The mild dipping sauce is definitely mild and not at all spicy but could have more flavor. I didn't care for the hot dipping sauce as it was also bland, but not overly hot by any means. Thankfully everything was so flavorful, no dipping sauce is needed to enjoy this incredible Nepalese food. I'll be ordering again soon! read more

I was starving after my yoga class and I've been wanting to try this place. Very nice and clean inside; counter service with tables--bigger than it looks from outside.
