    Korean Spicy Noodles with Chicken

You heard it here first folks, Momo Mee has the best crispy orange beef in Milwaukee!! Holy crunch, holy sauce, holy delicious! I will be craving that for the next 10-15 business days. First time having soup dumplings and wow were the tasty!! I liked them more than David but that's only because he doesn't like working for his food. I didn't mind because it was kinda fun drinking the soup first and then eating the dumpling part. My least favorite was the spicy noodles. However they were David's favorite! I think I was expecting more of a pad thai flavor, for some reason, so was a little let down by it. However, that's on me and they were still delicious! Just personally wouldn't order again. Beware the inside is pretty small/tight and always busy! But the service was great and our food came pretty quick! We sat at the bar which is always fun.

We LOVE MoMo Mee. It is definitely one of our favorite places for a date-night dinner in Milwaukee. If you go to MoMo Mee, come hungry because you do not want to miss anything: appetizers, drinks, entrees, and desserts! We've had many appetizers and our favorite is the Xiao Bao Buns. The soup dumplings are so decadent and flavorful. We 10/10 highly recommend! I've had many drinks and they are all great! Tonight I had the MO Fashioned and it was a scrumptious take on an Old Fashioned! Not too sweet or too dry. Just right! They have a great beer, wine, and cocktail list. We've had so many entrees and there is not a bad meal in the bunch. Some of our favorites include the Mongolian beef, kimchi beef fried rice in stone pot, Korean spicy noodles, and spicy orange beef. Yum! Prices are very reasonable for the portion sizes and quality. The staff are all warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. The space is clean and inviting. I highly recommend getting a reservation in advance. Since they are SO DELICIOUS, it is a popular place. Having a reservation ensures a shorter wait time. MoMo Mee has our hearts' and stomachs' devotion. If you've never been, we recommend you go asap!

my favorite place everrrrr love love love. Couldn't recommend more!

This is my favorite place. GET THE SOUP DUMPLINGS!!!! tables for two are tinnyyyy so that is always a little annoying but I get why they Jam Pack people in here, the food is amazing!! Drinks are always great and everything is so hot and fresh. Couldn't recommend more!

If you come to momo me definitely have a reservation if you can or you may be waiting. I expected it to be bigger on the inside but it's actually quite small. The drinks were great but I got a passion margarita and it was perfect. For appetizers we got the Cheese momo and the Thai chili sauce was fantastic. We also got the potstickers which was stuffed with more of a pork sausage type of meat. It was not exactly what I expected and would have enjoyed the meat if it was minced. For dinner I got the crispy orange beef and the texture was fantastic. But it was not spicy at all. It had a pepper on the menu next to it to indicate spicy and it was not that. It was very good but a little too sweet to eat in one sitting. I also got the MoMo Mee's Famous Xiao Long Bao and it was nice and hot. It tasted like a normal dumpling but still good. Overall great service.

I went back and tried the Japchae for lunch, so tasty I emptied the plate and no leftovers. Service was good, reasonable time to get the food. Nice vibe!

I love Momo Mee! It is one of my favorite Asian restaurants in the city as there are options spanning Chinese, Korean, and Japanese cuisines. You can usually walk in and get seated within 10-30 minutes. The ambiance inside the restaurant is also quite nice. I always get their Korean Spicy Noodles which always tastes delicious. The restaurant also provides a good portion size so the food always lasts for an extra meal. Overall this is a great choice if you are craving for Asian bites.

This place is always packed which was a good sign. We went here twice. I would recommend the dumplings but other than that, the food was really underwhelming. Tried their special noodle dish and it was not worth the price. It's good for a larger group to hangout because of the ambiance of homely feel but I wouldn't recommend for the food as much.

The best place in Milwaukee to get dumplings. After going to Din Tai Fung in Las Vegas I was looking for something similar, but I could not for the life of me find soup dumplings anywhere in Milwaukee until I stumbled upon Momo Mee! Service is good, no concerns. Tons of seating and they take reservations. Kind of an awkward spot in the building it's in, but once you step inside you don't even realize you are in a "strip-mall-esque" spot.

Ambiance: casual place with plenty of seating offered Service: good service - nothing to complain about! they were super quick here Food: we got a few different dishes here. We got the pork belly bao buns, Singaporean noodles, xiao long bao dumplings, shao mai, and bun cha gio. I wasn't really a fan of both dumplings - the shao mai was salty & the wrap on the xiao long bao was thick. Once the xiao long bao cooled off, it was salty too. We got the pork belly bao bun and the meat was dry. If the meat wasn't so dry, I would've enjoyed this more cause the flavors were good. The only thing I truly enjoyed was the Singaporean noodles. I would get this again! The bun cha gio was also good.

    Vietnamese Bun Cha Gio

The food was delicious. Came out very quickly and very hot. Awesome portion sizes, I wish we could have had room for the dumplings as people rave about those! But everything we had was amazing. The Beef Chow Fun was so yummy with big wide rice noodles and very flavorful beef. The Bun Cha Gio was so fresh and came with a really delicious spring roll. The service was great, fast and attentive. Very nice calming ambiance, definitely busy but didn't feel too crazy. Would be a good idea to call ahead for a table. Would definitely come back if in Milwaukee again!!

LIFE CHANGING! Seriously some of the best dumplings I've ever consumed (even after living in Seattle and Portland). The xiao long bao and szechuan spicy wontons ($15) were immensely flavorful and fresh. The pork belly in the tonkotsu ramen ($19) was on the fatty side, but otherwise had a rich broth. Beef chow fun ($23) very tasty, well balanced. Ambiance was very lively for a Wednesday night, romantic dark atmosphere inside.

Momo Mee is a neighborhood pan-asian restaurant in a strip mall. The food is fantastic and the service very good. Not a fancy place for a date night per-se, but with such delicious food it really doesn't matter. We had potstickers, noodles, chicken & bok choy, and a few other dishes. Everything was exceptional. Looking forward to going back again soon!

Ask the Community - Momo Mee

    Gluten free options?

I know they have vegan options but I'm not sure if they have other gluten-free options

Is there a broth for the mee that is vegan?

Yes, there is. We have house-made vegetable broth for vegan. We hope to see you soon. Thank you.

    Are there any vegetarian momos?

They have veggie dumplings on their menu. It has Chinese greens, tofu, shiitake mushrooms, vermicelli noodles and pickled daikon. I've never tried them, but they sound good.

Do they have a gluten free menu? Or options?

Rice is gluten free. Rice noodles are gluten free. There isn't likely to be any contamination if you call ahead of time and explain that you have Celiac's and you have to be treated carefully to prevent wheat contamination. Fad diet? doesn't matte

Unless you get here right when they open it early in the holiday season, I would expect a crowd. The drink menu is so fun with holiday themed drinks served in matching glassware. You can even purchase the glass/mug for an additional fee. A lot of the cocktails looked to be batched cocktails which help with the bartender's efficiency. They do a tremendous job of explaining the menu and food options in detail, and ensure you have a great experience from start to finish. The drinks? Nothing short of amazing. They vary the featured cocktails menu every 8 weeks, so most likely you'll get a different experience every time you go. However you can always get your classic cocktails like Margaritas, French 75 and Martinis. They also can do any drink NA which is the first of its kind in the US. They have an option called dealers choice, where you can pick the spirit and flavor profile of the drink you want: spicy, sour, floral, smoky etc. no limits! You write down on a card what you want and they craft you a cocktail based on your selections. They also offer a variety of food pairings to go along with the select, featured drink you order. We got spring rolls, a braised, pork infused doughnut, and an incredible bone broth that still has me in a tizzy. Fair warning: it's small and difficult to get a reservation - don't try your luck walking in, this place is a hot ticket and you won't be able to get in without a resy, which could be weeks or months out. We stopped here after dinner, so we stuck mostly with the cocktails. Unfortunately, nothing on the seasonal menu really stuck out to me. I stuck with the "traditional" cocktails (spicy watermelon bubblegum, and then banana daiquiri). Hubs went for the halo halo food (which was so cute! All the typical ingredients but served in cubist fashion), and the paired drink. The paired drink was supposed to have different layers of flavor, but they all mixed together quite a bit. Tasty, just not the "layered" experience we thought. I think they almost do themselves a disservice comparing themselves to the aviary - that is a crazy high bar to meet. Granted, maybe we would have been more impressed if we had more of the seasonal cocktails despite them not seeming interesting? Probably wouldnt go out of my way to go here again, but it is a cool vibe and the cocktails were good.
