Another great meal! We tried something new the Chicken Saag and it's our new favorite although everything is amazing! The chow Mein and garlic naan is always great! Service was wonderful as usual.

Back again for great Nepalese food - we had the goat curry, steamed chicken Momos, the chicken tikka masala, and the bengan bharta, and basil garlic naan. The goat curry was super tasty as was the naan. The chicken tikka was good, as always and the bengan bharta was a nice change. Momos tasted extra good this time. This place really sends out lots of to go orders but don't overlook a visit to eat in.

I luv this place. They are so quick for take out. The vibe is laid back and boasts a friendly atmosphere. The food is AMAZING. If not so spicy and more favorable than some Indian restaurants.

A year ago I'd have given this restaurant 5 stars. Unfortunately, the quality has degraded considerably while the prices are $4-$5 higher than other Indian & Nepalese restaurants in the area. I'm not an authority on Nepalese and Indian food, but I've been to Nepal and South India a few times and have been ordering from Momo N Curry since it opened. Today's order had stale naan (which included garlic naan). They tasted like a day-old reheated. The Tandoori shrimp had several tiger prawns not cleaned properly (you can see giant disgusting streaks). The goat buthuwa was the only dish that was somewhat flavorful and decent. To make matters worse the portion sizes were smaller and the rice boxes were only about 3/4 filled. I understand commodity prices have gone up, but quality should never be sacrificed. I wouldn't mind paying for an excellent dish. Never going back and it pains me to ditch this business because I think it is family-owned and the staff is really nice.

Food packaging needs to be more secure especially for DoorDash deliveries. The current packaging is not secure enough.

I have never been in person, but I DoorDash from them all the time and the food is hands down AMAZING. I will never be able to get over this place this is the BEST comfort food

Came here on a Friday evening for dinner and we were surprised how empty it was. However, as the evening went by there seemed to be people slowly trickling in. Also, alot of people getting takeout. The place is very spacious with interesting decor. Servers are very friendly and attentitive as well. We ordered the steamed veggie momo which came with some orange dipping sauce - pretty flavorful and not spicy. The momo dumplings were also a good size, enough to share between two people with another entree. We also ordered the paneer tikka masala - cottage cheese cubes in tikka masala sauce. This went well with the garlic naan. Their naan is also pretty good, a bit crunchy on the outside but still warm and chewy on the inside. Overall, pretty solid place to get some authentic nepalese food.

Been here twice and the food is always great! However we only do takeout but the flavor maintains and my favorite item is the aloo saag. We usually get garlic and regular naan and the pieces are HUGE. The chicken tikka masala is also very nice and saucy and doesn't have a watery consistency. Overall their service is great and the food is better, and I definitely recommend coming here! Their momo dumplings are also yummy :)

I used to love this place and ordered from here regularly. But during a recent order, the food arrived leaking and the containers were partially melted. While I understand that accidents can happen, what really disappointed me was the owner's response--rude and unprofessional, they blamed us instead of taking any responsibility. Completely unacceptable service. I won't be ordering from here again See picture of the melted box. Made me reevaluate if I was eating plastic letched in my food-given the box literally

Delicious, flavorful and fast. Would like to give 4.5 stars because the service is just ok, but I stuck with 5 because it's that good.

We actually ordered a bunch of stuff off their menu, and they were as follows: From their Non Vegetarian Entrées menu: - Kadhai Murgh $14.90: This dish was super tasty. It's a curry dish with a very deep red, borderline brown color, with chunks of chicken, onion, and bell pepper. It was savory, and the spices really came through. It was perfect with rice. - Chicken Tikka Masala $14.90: We couldn't go to an Indian restaurant without ordering their chicken tikka masala because, to me, I use that as an anchor baseline. However, I have to say that I wasn't a big fan of theirs. I felt like the chicken tikka masala was a bit watery and not creamy enough, and the flavor could've been bolder. We also got some appetizers: - Pan Fried Chilli Fish $10.90: This turned out to be super fantastic. Basically, they were almost like deep fried fish nuggets, then tossed in tomato based chili spices, making them look red and flavorful. I really liked the portion size, and I really enjoyed this dish. The fish was super tender too. - Chicken 65 $12.90: This was pretty similar to the chili fish, but instead it was made with chicken. The main difference was the meat consistency. I felt like the chicken chunks were smaller and therefore maybe got over fried a little bit, making some of the pieces a bit tougher. From the Breads category: - Garlic Naan + Plain Naan: I didn't care much for their naan. The plain naan was just okay to me, and the garlic one tasted almost exactly like the plain one, with just a little garlic aroma. However, I didn't really get much garlic taste whatsoever. I would probably skip it next time. My brother also got a few more dishes that I got to try. I only remember that one dish called Murgh was a little too spice-heavy for me. And I'm not talking about hot spicy - it's Indian spice spicy. It felt like it was extremely heavy on cinnamon and star anise, which made the dish taste almost bitter. I wasn't a big fan of that one. We ordered everything online, and I really liked how they prepared and packaged everything. The staff was also very friendly. I'll definitely come back and try some of their other dishes. Beware that if you pay with credit cards, it will come with a surcharge fee.

I personally think everything needed some salt, but maybe it's meant to be this way. Highlight is most definitely the green sauce (yogurt and chili, not spicy), baklava (sweet sticky on the bottom and flaky crisp on top, not overly sweet), yogurt mint drink (dough). Shami beef and chicken kebab were juicy and not dry. Through a bit of miscommunication.. I was given the yogurt drink instead of the normal side of yogurt cucumber sauce for the meat, and was warned by Ali that some people don't like it since it's a yogurt drink with salt, but honestly it was great and was essentially a yogurt mint sauce I expect from other Mediterranean/Middle Eastern type places but more watery. So admittedly I just took sips of this while taking bites of the kebab and rice and it was pretty much the flavors I was looking for, but an extra step. Beef Mantu was another source of confusion since there are regular and homemade versions (I didn't realize). They made me the homemade version without confirming with me on the phone; no problem. It was filled with lightly seasoned beef and topped with interesting spices. Overall not bad not great, definitely needs sauce / salt. Too light in my opinion. And for $25 I wouldn't get again not worth it. The customer service from Ali was great. Knowing this was my first time he explained everything, offered to charge me less due to the miscommunications (I declined), and gave complimentary side of sauce and baklava as a nice gesture. Good food. I know how to order next time. Extra green sauce or yogurt drink all over.

Service was pleasant, and we received enough attention throughout the meal course. Great, open seating with the view on the Monument Boulevard, that was bright and comfortable. The outstanding Afghani food, and even better the desserts with saffron tea made this experience complete throughout. Would highly recommend Narunj Palow with thinly sliced dates. Turned out to be a little bit pricier than I thought it would be for a lunch, however, it really did worth it.

I've eaten @ naan and curry, all of the buffet, really good one in Oakland, the Himalayan restaurant near park and shop, curry bowl etc. But unfortunately while the staff and service of the food with the price of $60 for food, I'm not really impressed. You definitely get a lot to last 4 meals, and they were flavorful, but not the best Indian I would come back often. The curries might of been burnt a little as they both had the weird Smokey flavor. Maybe some will like it, but it's not winning me over. The restaurant does not look open ready. The front entrance where the pond was, is ripped out and is very empty. And when I walked on the wood floor, it was sticky. Luckily I didn't eat in. I would of forgiving it if the food was the best, but unfortunately doesn't do favors. If they want to compete, they should go to the places I mention. That park and shop himilayan is the best for the amount of rice and palak paneer ( orders saag, but its simular) Curry bowl also taste very good. And there are many Indian buffets around. It's hard because that location has not had the best of luck. They had like 3-4 Korean restaurants closed before them.
