Once Baked Cookie Dough (5): My wife loves the traditional cookie dough so this piqued our interest. If you've ever had a pizookie, its sort of like that. Sort of underbaked and soft. It was delicious! Coffee Toffee Crunch (5): Can't go wrong with a coffee/toffee combo. Their slow churned process makes this really creamy and delicious! Wild Blackberry (4): Curiosity got to us on this one since wild blackberries seem to be everywhere up here. I've had some really good ones and some really questionable ones. This was good. What I'd expect. What this proved to me was their sweet cream base is amazing and can be paired with anything really. Lemon Raspberry (5): Wasn't expecting much but this one blew me away. This was my favorite of the group! Sweet and tart and fruity all at the same time with no flavor overpowering another. Very good. Cold Brew Float (4): This is really just a cup of the ice cream of your choice. Then you grab a can of their cold brew and pour it on top. I went with their mint chip. It was good. The cold brew was good. This is something I feel like I'd do at home too. (and I think I will cause we're taking some pints home!) Overall, a great stop on your way to wherever. They have pints to take home as well. Luckily we had a cooler in the car so we took home our favorite flavors. We'll be making this a stop whenever we're in the area now.

I could easily eat 5 of these back to back without batting an eye. I've tried the cookies n' cream, mexican chocolate, coconut cream, and cinnamon horchata. The first one I tried was the cinnamon horchata, and I was convinced that was going to be my favorite. Then, I tried the mexican chocolate and cookies n' cream, and I can't decide! They're perfectly creamy, naturally flavored, and addictive. My boyfriend had the coconut cream first, and although I'm not a fan of coconut, it was amazing. The store is impeccably clean and has really cute decor. Plus, there are tables outside to sit at and enjoy your pops if you can't wait to make it home! The owner is the nicest person I've ever met, and I'm excited to have such incredible desserts to look forward to eating from here on out.

The two ladies who run the crèmecart, Michelle and Sommer, sound like they are regulars at the Saturday Farmers' Market, and other island locations as well. They rotate many cool ice cream flavors and cookie combinations. Their crèmecart Facebook page listed many enticing flavors, including: butter cookie and strawberry cheesecake ice cream; dark chocolate cookie and ginger ice cream; chocolate cookie with: salted caramel ice cream or coconut ice cream or chocolate ice cream; lemon cookie with: lavender ice cream or vanilla ice cream; gluten free almond cookie with vanilla or chocolate ice cream; and on July 4th, Apple Pie Ice Cream Sandies. How fun is that? So, like any food cart, crèmecart is seasonal, and moves around following the crowds. Thankfully, Orcas is a small island, and I promise you, they are worth searching for! The gelato here is as fine as the best places we went to in Italy. I had the mango and mixed berry sorbetto (no dairy--yay!!) on a cone and it was so creamy, fluffy, smooth, and absolutely delicious. They were very nice about accommodating and customizing for my friend who is vegan. I went with the "Trix" which was exactly how it sounded...and tasted! If you've ever had a bowl of trix and the milk starts to taste like the cereal as you're eating it, that's exactly how this tasted. It was great. Took me back to childhood. They were also kind enough to hook us up with some "pup cups" for our little guys which they definitely enjoyed. What I really like is how well the ice cream holds. It was pretty warm out and I was able to give my pup his pup cup and was able to eat my ice cream without it melting out. If I'm up here again, I'll be sure to stop in hopefully the Trix will remain a main offering.

They didn't even greet us at all... not even with a smile. And I tried to ask the younger one questions about where the products came from and she would barely mumble a short answer of "other farms" what could have been a fun and quaint longer experience there (because it looks like you can stay and eat) turned out to be a quick visit because we felt they were annoyed we were there. They offer up a good variety and if you can't make up your mind opt for the 7-flavor ice cream flight. I choose a to dabble in a shrub float. New item for me. Shrub is a sweetened fruit infused vinegar. For the float they use the shrub (from local vendor Girl Meets Dirt), seltzer water, and your choice of ice cream. I definitely could see this being a summer drink. Has a bit of a bite from the vinegar (I'd advise to make sure it's all fully incorporated or you'll end up with a straight shot of the shrub).
