this is honestly my #1 favorite local coffee shop. i always hype this place up. it helps that it's less than 10 minutes from my work. i recommend to always order ahead on their website so that your order is ready quickly because the inside is very small. i love how they have so many drink and food options with both sweet and savory choices. they also have snacks near the ordering kiosk. if you really like their coffee, you can also buy their beans here. my go to drink is the mayan mocha. this store made me obsessed with mocha drinks and the way the chocolate and spice compliments the espresso is so delicious. i've tried many variations of sweetness and milks and it always tastes good. i've had their other coffees before and they're also all delicious. i haven't tried their matcha yet because i come here for the coffee. i just realllyyyy love the taste of the coffee beans used here and all the various latte flavors. my favorite food here is the spicy chicken avocado panini. you can choose your side to go with it but i usually choose kale with a side of spicy mayo. it's always perfectly crispy and the flavors go so well together. i have tried some other sweet and savory options and they're all a hit. you can't really go wrong with anything here. the inside is a really small store but it's perfect to eat at quickly before heading to work or while on break if you're solo. not a great place to study or chat with friends. they do have a small bar table inside with 3 seats and 1 or 2 small tables outside with chairs. absolutely love this place. the taste and quality of every food and drink is amazing! read more

Came across this shop randomly. It's super tiny inside, no restroom. They have 2 tiny round tables outside with 2 chairs each but it crowds the entrance of the shop. Inside there are some stools but again very crowded. Definitely a grab & go vs stay and relax or hangout. I ordered from the kiosk since there was a line. Got the Spanish Latte iced, strawberry matcha iced and a jalapeno cheddar bagel with cream cheese. I wish they had other options than just jalapeno cheddar for the bagel since my fiance is allergic to cheese. The drinks and bagel seemed averagely priced. Recently heard about Coffee Up, so we decided to give it a try. The menu looked interesting. It is a small location attached to a predominantly medical offices building. They have two small tables and a bench outside the entrance, which means there is little seating. And that patio is south facing, which means a lot of sun. The place seemed popular enough at 9am on a Friday with a steady stream of customers. We waited about 5 minutes to order (only 2 people ahead of us in the line). They seemed a bit understaffed based on the number of orders (including ordering ahead), but the wait wasn't horrible. There is a self-service kiosk for ordering. The service was okay, not great, not bad. About our order: 1. Hot latte (breve style = half whole milk, half half and half): it started out decently well, but by the time I was half way through the cup, it tasted almost completely like straight half and half. 2. Parisian Hot Chocolate (I think that was the name): pretty tasty, super sweet. We couldn't drink too much, so we took it home to add milk or something. read more

I like that they have a screen where we could order and customize our drinks pretty easily. The service was fast, we got all 3 drinks and food within 5 mins. I got the tiramisu latte, which was good once you mixed in the foam a little bit otherwise it's just coffee tasting. We also got the spanish latte with cold foam and it was absolutely delicious! Found this hidden gem on the way to work. They have a lot of variety and unique drinks, which personally I love! I always am eager to try different drink combinations well out. And this Hawaiian latte def hit the spot for me. My only complaint is, it took over 10 -15 minutes to get my drink (I was the only person in there) So they do get busy with online orders. When in Chino, Coffee Up Roastery is a good option to satisfy your latte fix. The shop is fairly small, so be prepared to wait outside to order/for your order - there are two tables outside for you. I got an iced Hawaiian latte (with almond milk), which was tasty! Had the right amount of pickmeup, was smooth and creamy. Highly recommend this latte that's made with chocolate and coconut and comes topped with macadamia nuts. Also ordered a strawberry matcha and blue lavender lattes ( honey + lavender), which the family enjoyed. I door dashed a Mexican mocha to my work because their coffees had really great prices and looked like they made their syrups there. I was not disappointed. The espresso quality was immaculate it tastes similar to Ethiopian beans not sure what they use but definitely tastes single origin. I got with almond milk which i almost never do and it was so smooth. The mocha was dark and I got 100% sweet and it wasn't that sweet it was perfect. Stopped by this cute coffee shop with my friend before we went apple picking and I LOVED IT. Everything about the visit was pleasant even if there was a slight wait. Parking was ample, it's in an unassuming area which made it even more impressive how busy this spot is! If there's a wait, normally it's THAT good and this place was THAT good for me. The spicy chicken avocado panini was hot and fresh. The crisp on the bread and the flavors melding together, ugh so good. It's not very spicy at all though haha. I'd order it again in a heartbeat, the prices were very reasonable too. The salad was decent, not great, but it is just a side and honestly better than nothing so I'm happy with it! The drinks all looked good. I opted for a fall season drink because why not.. it was tasty and I enjoyed it lots. I had a pumpkin biscoff oat latte. I think they are popular for their biscoff drinks as I saw so many people order them. Love the cookie on top, it's cute. Lastly, the workers there were really nice. Give them grace when there's a wait. They are trying their best and they are still kind. One of the workers even gave an extra biscoff to a father who was willing to pay for an extra for his kid. I was in need of a matcha and I'm not local so I yelped for a place nearby and Coffee Up Roastery popped up. It was nearby, they had matcha on the menu, photos looked great, prices seemed reasonable. Some of the previous reviews did make me nervous but decided to see for myself. There isn't obvious signage for the shop but it was still easy to find (it's right at the corner of the building, first floor). Parking was plentiful. It's a small place, with a few seats available inside but it's not long term seating. I was greeted on arrival by two different people. I took a second to look at the menu but was helped and placed my order pretty quickly. I went with an iced Matcha Creme (matcha with vanilla cream) with whole milk. My drink came out pretty quickly since I was the only one there at the time (but people slowly started arriving soon after). -Matcha Creme. Tasted amazing. I love that it wasn't overly sweet, I could taste the matcha, it wasn't too milky, perfect balance. I will say the vanilla aspect was missing. I didn't get any hint of vanilla anywhere. It wasn't a big deal but if there's going to be an upcharge for it, I want to taste it. I think I'll opt for the regular matcha drink next time. Overall, a good place to get a matcha to go. Once I saw The Biscoff I had to come! They cashier was nice and helpful. We were able to modify the drink with no caramel. The latte was more milky than coffee but the biscoff was a nice touch. I recommend to stir the drink. Overall, it was good and will be back to try the other drinks! The store is small and not somewhere you can sit and work at. I would say it's better to place an order online and pick it up because it's a very small place located in a medical plaza, and it can take awhile sometimes. Just swing around the building until you see the sign outside. They have limited indoor and outdoor seating and is only open 7-4 M-F and 8-2 on Saturday and Sunday. In terms of the ambiance, there's not really much room inside to stand or work, but the aesthetic feels clean and nice. The barista was super nice and made good recommendations. For the drink itself, it was a little expensive for the size, and the brew was a little bitter for me. However, I liked the biscoff cold foam and cookie on the biscoff latte. read more

This place is actually a real gem. It's funny how I hear Korean music when I walk in so I'm just gonna assume it's an Asian establishment especially with the Budok on the front!! Asians sure do love Ramen with coffee! Got the Maya mocha and it really is pretty strong. I think it could use a little bit more mocha punch to get that hint of bitterness but overall strong coffee. Definitely love the pink cup because pink and gold serves me really well. Extremely small inside just enough to see two people. The outside seating is not a lot, but there are plenty of parking areas and places that you can just chill on the sidewalk, literally. Prices really reasonable. I placed a catering order of a bunch of spicy chicken sandwiches for our company meeting. They were such a HUGE hit! EVERYONE loved them! They were also beautifully executed and nicely packed in a box. At first, I accidentally placed our order at their other location in Fullerton which was further location from our company. I had to cancel. I re-placed our order with their Chino location right after. All staff I connected with over the phone regarding my order mistake and giving us a full refund was very easy and pleasant! The owner also called me directly to ensure the full refund was processed. I've been wanting to come here ever since it opened, but because I work 7-4pm the opportunity to visit never came up until today! The cafe is very small (it's like a grab and go) and there's plenty of parking. I stopped by just shy of noon today (3/28) and there were already people inside, waiting for their orders. I asked the worker, who I believe is the owner/manager, about which drink I should get. I was deciding either the matcha creme or Mayan mocha. He recommended the Mayan spiced mocha with vanilla creme (extra $0.75). The total was $5.75 w/o tip. It was so delicious! I was reminiscing Coffee Connection's Mayan Mocha drink but I no longer have to look further to fulfill my craving. I'm really excited to see this coffee shop's popularity grow. With new updates that they're going to open on the weekends within the next few weeks, Coffee Up Roastery will surely become a hidden gem! read more

Coffee up Roastery, was amazing. A remarkable tasting coffee, a very unique but refreshing and smooth tasting iced latte. You can see the small dark specs from their vanilla syrup which is always a great sign. I loved their plastic cups, very ergonomic and comfortable around the lips. Small yet cozy interior, clean and designed to maximize their limited space as they added a table to sit inside. Both their pesto grilled cheese sandwich and their Spicy Chicken Avocado panini were incredibly delicious. Both very filling and savory paninis, and kudos to the packaging. I loved their labels and how the sandwiches were nicely wrapped, it was an aesthetically pleasing sight that I'm sure is going to attract those online reviewers, TikTok-ers, and foodies around. The service felt like home, it's ran by the guy, his brother, wife and mother in law. As I was eating, I heard the gentleman say "hello Frank, welcome back" as the customer smiled, that's a personalized experience, that shows it's more than just transactional. Coffee Chronicles Chino edition, for those familiar with the coffee landscape there hasn't been any good coffee shops north of the 60 in Chino. Most good coffee shops are in the Chino hills area until now. For those looking for good coffee some key words are associated with this shop. Those words are: Ethiopia, Geisha, Roastery and one of my favorite types of latte the Spanish Latte. Getting here the coffee shops looks to be located in an office plaza that looks like an apartment building. There is a sign that directs you there. Inside the shop is rather small, there is bench seating for 3, but this is mainly a grab and go shop due to its size. I spoke to owners and their first shop is in Fullerton. They've been open about a month and only operating Monday-Friday. For my latte I tried the macadmia nut latte & biscoff. The quality of the quality is great. The macademia nut latte offers a more distinct taste with a coconut aftertaste. The latte is good, but those liking a safer option the biscoff latte is excellent. I got it made as an iced latte instead of ice blended. Great shop making it the best shop in the area north of the 60 in Chino. I look forward to getting a Spanish latte which I'm sure won't disappoint. read more

Also, it was not very cold. They needed to add much more ice.. the ladies in the front also do not greet you when you walk in.
