Was at Spring Mountain track on Saturday. And went out to dinner after we were all done. Went here with a group of 7 of us. They got us seated right away and they were very busy. Shiloh our server and Ryan the buss person were awesome. Fast and friendly service. And the food was very good at a very reasonable price. I have the turkey plate. And it was like 11.00 total. How can you beat that. Granted my plate was a little cold. Not as hot as I'd wanted but it was still very good and the mashed potato's looked to be real potato's with skin. They were very yummy. A few people had some desert and everything looked so good and fresh. The place was spotless. And it had a lot of nicknacks all over the Resturant and no dust to be found anywhere. Same with the ceiling fans they were so clean. I've been to places where fans were filthy and all the stuff around was dusty. Not this place. It was spotless. For sure will be coming back again. read more

We saw Mom's on the map going to Death Valley, Yelped it, and knew we had to stop. Mom's is great. It's not a large restaurant, but the decor, people, and servings are. It's a fun, quirky and homey place....the last fill-up stop before the National Park. Hubs had the traditional breakfast. I had two eggs, hash browns and meatloaf...must have been half a pound...and the breakfast was delicious. Highly recommend Mom's meatloaf. Everyone working was kind. Even the bathrooms were cutely decorated. The waiting room is a glassed in porch with a few seats. While eating two parties came in...one had 16 people, and one had eight. Either good timing or a lucky day to be able to make room for everyone. read more

Mom's is my go-to when I am staying in Pahrump. It is always busy. This far, I have been 3x in 3 days. Sadly, food has not been consistent. I had the Friday fried catfish special. The catfish was not thoroughly cooked. The bread crumbs on the outside were crispy. I am assuming it went from freezer to oil that wasn't hot enough. My tea glass sat empty while I was still eating. I had to wait until my server came to ask for a refill. A year ago, when a server spotted an empty glass, they would appear with a refill without asking. It is obvious this has changed. The server had a stack of checks in hand and was going table to table presenting them. With me he asked, "you aren't having anything else, right?" Ummm what restaurant does not upsell a dessert? I had the chicken enchilada special yesterday & it was huge & super yummy. The prep was called "New México" and was completely different with the chicken being creamy. We were meeting friends for dinner and thought we'd give this place a try. This really is a diner. The food is mostly cooked from scratch, servers are friendly and helpful. Between four of us we ordered the deep fried chicken, hot beef sandwich and 2 orders of the liver and onions. There were absolutely no complaints. The diner is small and there's not much to ambiance but we snagged a table right by the window. Lots of old telephones on display. We will definitely be returning before we leave the area. read more

Took my dad there Sunday for Father's Day breakfast! They were busy as usual but we were seated in a couple minutes! I had the chicken fried steak and eggs with biscuits and gravy. The steak was huge, tender and delicious. The eggs were cooked perfectly and tasted farm fresh and the biscuits and gravy the best I have had. Pop had the skillet and it was outstanding also. You walk in and it's seat yourself so you find a place you're comfortable and the waitress comes in some time with menus. The place is a bit warm but it's cozy and everyone there is friendly. The employees and the customers themselves. We got our drinks ordered and the server was really nice and let us know that they filled up the baby's orange juice only a quarter of the way but he would refill it if needed. This was perfect because I had to dilute the orange juice anyways so it worked out. We placed our order and it was in a timely manner considering they actually make the food and it was hot and flavorful. They brought out everything with the food like syrup and stuff and creamer and sugar is already on the tables for you. Throughout the meal many of the employees would come around with coffee, water, tea and refill your drinks. This was very frequent (which is a good thing) and the waitress was very attentive and took care of like three tables requests at one time. It was very impressive. They are very kind even when they're busy and I'm sure it's stressful. I very much LOVED our experience here and the food was great and it was overall amazing coming here for the first time. I definitely recommend but u hear they're always pretty busy so prepare for that if you go, just in case. Oh, one thing I would recommend is cleaning the bottles off though. There was a string of syrup on the syrup bottle when it came to us (we didn't use it at all) but still a great experience here. read more

Adorable kitschy diner with great service. The roast beef open face sandwich was not great but the black eyed peas (they labeled it soup but it was just black eyed peas to me) was fantastic. The staff was nice and the decorations were cheerful and fun to look at. My issue was with my hamburger. I ordered it Texas bacon style with BBQ sauce with onion rings. I have never had this type of burger with Velveeta cheese, and it was slathered with it. That alone gave the whole meal a strange taste. The hamburger was very standard and did not look like the photos listed. The fries were thin (not steak fries) with no seasoning. I give 3 stars for a clean place and delivery of fast food on a plate. I'm still looking for an amazing hamburger in Pahrump. I will keep looking! read more

Excellent service, even though it was very busy. Food arrived piping hot and delicious! Everything was perfect! Best damn breakfast I ever had...& if that is any indication of the rest of the menu, I give it 5 stars. Hell, I'd go as far as to say it was a Death Row meal, which I mean to say, if that was the last meal I ever ate, I'd be ready to meet my maker. I had the What was supposed to be Hot pot roast sandwich With a baked potato everything was barely warm everything tasted okay the raspberry tea was good. They advertise homemade food, not even close, their service needs improvement for sure. Always give places a second chance, which we did and it was just not a good experience, only 3 tables of people and it took them almost 20 minutes to even acknowledge us. We came in just as they're about to close for the night. I was afraid that since they're closing, the staff may not like that especially on a Saturday night. But I was wrong! The young man who served us was soooooo pleasant, friendly, and attentive! The food came out fast as well! I highly recommend this place if you are in Pahrump!
