Great place for breakfast. Clean and neat. Enjoyed all the memorabilia. Food was hot and fresh. Much better than any casino.

I had an excellent breakfast! Two scrambled eggs, two pieces of crispy bacon and two pieces of French toast. My food was hot, my eggs were cooked correctly, my bacon was crisp as I requested, coffee was good and my service was excellent. I'm not sure about some of the reviews on here that said their food wasn't hot and they couldn't cook an egg but but I did not experience that at all. read more

We stopped at Mom's coming out of Death Valley. The club sandwich was very good and HUGE - great to split, then you can leave room for one of their yummy desserts! The hummingbird cake is a homemade, dressed up spice cake. Service was very good and fast. Only thing missing are milkshakes. read more

We eat here almost every time we are in town. This time, like many times, I had the tenderloin sandwich. They are hard to find this far west! If you like tenderloin this sandwich is pretty tasty. The service is always good here too! I gave them 4 stars because the decor is getting a bit dusty as well as the ceiling fans. read more

Stopped here for breakfast a couple days before Christmas. The place was clean, the food was good and the staff friendly. Pancakes were fluffy, soft and melt in your mouth good. They cooked my bacon to perfection, which I am hard to please when it comes to my bacon everybody always over cooks it. I will be back. Thanks mom. read more

Great service. Nice, friendly staff and quick. Clean. I had the buffalo chicken salad. Basic iceberg lettuce salad but big and good. The chicken was great. Came with two small containers of dressing which wasn't quite enough. My husband had a hamburger and thought it was okay but not great. Fries were good but skimpy. read more

I used to go to Mom"s Diner all the time, and as time went by, the quality of the food changed, as well as the quantity, the tons of people waiting to get into eat sure have dropped off,, its a shame when a restaurant which starts out great, slow over time changes I guess cause of money costs, and the lack of business but when they do it to them self, and cut the food amount, and the quality of the amount well people just stop coming. read more

This is our second stop on the way back from Dumont Dunes from Thanksgiving weekend. The staff is always very friendly upon walking in with a warm greeting, and seating is wherever you'd like. It's never empty, and that's always a good sign! My husband had the eggs and ham with sourdough toast, and he liked his breakfast very much. I had originally ordered something similar, but then saw the special of the day was Pozole. I asked our server if it was red or green, and how it was, as I'm sort of a Pozole connoisseur. She said it was red, and very good. I ordered it, and it did not disappoint. The chunks of pork were very tender, and not too big. It was served with one giant flour tortilla, limes, and shredded cabbage. It was a tad too salty for my taste, but otherwise very good. The decor in the women's restroom was so eclectic and cute. I especially liked the sign on top of all of the cute framed items that said "Thou shalt not steal." Love biblical deterrence! My hubs said the men's restroom had a bunch of different license plates on the walls, so equal opportunity decor exists! Do yourself a favor and stop in to Mom's...you won't be disappointed. read more

The second rule was proved by my experience at this place. Bad food served with a bad attitude. Runny eggs (asked for them over medium, not too runny) burned toast and "home fries" (unlike any I had ever seen before). When I asked for a refill of coffee the "waitress" acted like I'd requested a kidney. Locals may get better treatment, but if you're passing through, stay away. read more

We were traveling through town and stopped here because of the reviews. We both had the ribeye and it was delicious but originally came out rarer than ordered. When we pointed it out the owner immediately had the entire plate remade with steaks perfectly done. So impressive when you see that kind of dedication to qualify and service! Visited on Sunday at9:45 am... this place was hopping! The wait was 15 min but it went fast as manager turned tables quick directing bussers, servers, walk in customers and working by till at the same time. Menu standard fair for diners. The specials today both included chili. The kitchen was at a good speed, never waited for refills as the manager was helping, and the bacon was plentiful and well cooked.
