We ordered hot chocolate, a strawberry pancake, biscuits and gravy, and Mom's Potatoes O'Brien with bacon. First of all, service here is great, 5/5 stars. Our waiter was kind, helpful making the kids comfortable and happy. She brought coloring books out and also put the hot chocolate in to go cups. Most of the food was decent- the hot chocolate came from an automated machine you see in gas stations/quick marts. The strawberry pancake was huge and fluffy, probably an inch thick in the middle (!), and tasty. It was about 8-9 inches in diameter! The biscuits and gravy were pretty good, came with three big flaky biscuits and generous amount of sausage gravy. The only thing that was disappointing was the Mom's Potato Obrien. It was shredded hash browns with bacon, peppers and crunchy undercooked onions in between, topped with two slices of slightly warm processed American cheese that were not even melted. Talk about unappetizing when brought out. We ate part of it anyway, but didn't feel compelled to take home our large amount of leftovers. I'm not sure I'd come back to eat here to eat breakfast, but I may try out lunch sometime. At least the service was great! I'm sure they would have taken back the dish if we complained. read more

We were fortunate enough to find this little gem thanks to other Yelp reviews. You might miss it if you aren't careful. Mom's kitchen had yummy breakfast and lunch fare that was prepared fresh. My daughter ordered an omelette and hash browns, it was delicious! I had minced ham and eggs, really good. Best part was Mom and her service with a cheery countenance. We were helped by "Mom" who was super sweet and even gave us some suggestions on what to get. We ended up ordering the O'brian hash browns, the egg breakfast, and a cinnamon roll! So where do I begin, the hash browns were homemade and sliced so thin they were amazing! The eggs were cooked perfectly and the cinnamon roll was absolutely delicious! Went for a late breakfast. Hubs had the chicken fried steak with sausage gravy and I had the pancake sandwich. Everything was fine, not fantastic or even great but good. I would eat here again if I lived in the area but it's not something I'd crave or necessarily recommend. read more

Wonderful little diner with friendly service and good food. We stopped here for breakfast on our way out of town and really enjoyed our meals. Pancakes, omelets, the O'brien, everything was really yummy! The only thing is that the dining room is tiny and the parking is minimal, so it would probably not be good for groups larger than 6. read more

There is actually a real "Mom" here. Mom was there on the morning we visited. She was serving us. There are pictures of her family behind the counter. The food is classic dinner food and priced well. The coffee could use a boost. read more

The best Denver omelet I've ever had, why you say. Their chief takes it to the next level by sautéing the bell peppers & onions first, plus the ham is grilled before it is in house diced. It made those taste layers. To finish added a little cheese inside made for a wonderful cheese gooeyness to hold it together. I did not plan to originally eat breakfast here but glad I did! Kelly the waitress was amazing! She topped off my coffee continuous as we sat, and cleaned up our wrappers and dishes as we ate. We went Saturday morning based on a review we found. The service was amazing and accommodating. The food was delicious. Bacon was thick and not over cooked. Chicken fried steak was amazing. And like other reviews, the sausage gravy was amazing. Usually when you get sausage gravy there are specks of sausage in it and it has a slight sausage flavor. Not mom's. Her gravy has huge chunks of sausage in it and it was the best sausage gravy I have ever had. The stuff hashbrowns are also highly recommended. It was so good we went back Sunday morning. The waffle was cooked perfectly. Bacon again of high quality. But the best was the double bacon cheese burger and fries. I haven't had a burger that good in a very long time. If I could give this place 10 stars I would. The place is small so you might have to wait but it is so worth it. This will be our place to eat when we are in the area. read more

Moms is absolutely the best breakfast/lunch place in town. The cooks are outstanding and Mom is a love. It is old tiny and spotlessly clean. My Mom (who is 93) and I feel like they are family - the best kind - the chosen family. They have daily specials to compliment their regular decently priced menu and my favorite - fresh made French fries. If you are a Neanderthal they also have frozen ones. I must mention the outstanding chicken salad. If you don't like something, (I can't imagine what) just tell them, they will work to fix it. Was looking for a good Ham and Eggs Breakfast and Mom's served it up. Big slice of Ham, Eggs just how I like them over medium, and the Hash browns were not huge slivers, but more like Angel Hair slivers. All of it very tasty and filling. Can't go wrong here. read more

Saw Mom's Kitchen reviewed here and d cider to try it for ourselves. It did not disappoint! The biscuits and gravy were as tasty as described. I had the veggie omelet, which was filled with fresh sautéed veggies, but with very little added fat and just a little cream cheese. I felt very virtuous eating the whole thing!
