    Dips and pita chips
    Vanessa G.

The cilantro lemon hummus is what dreams are made of. We stopped by this booth at a farmers market. The man giving out samples was very kind and informative. He was very welcoming. You can select 3 dips for $20. We chose cilantro lemon hummus, spinach and artichoke hummus, and garbanzo salad. We also got a bag of pita chips, but regret not getting 2 bags. Everything was so flavorful. I enjoy the hummus with the pita chips, with vegetables, and also on toast with an egg. You really can't beat the flavors of these dips. You also cannot beat the price.

Been buying from Mom Specialty for years. Great Hummus, great spreads, and great garlic Pita chips. Have not stopped by the Cerritos Farmers Market in a while. Went yesterday and purchased garlic and chives, and Avocado and Jalapeño hummus, along with some garlic pita chips. Everything tasted great, once I returned home. The big issue I have is that the containers of hummus were 2/3 full! The package says 8oz but there was about 6oz in each one. If you plan on charging $14 for three times, at least put 8oz of hummus in the container. The size of the bag for pita chips have gone down significantly over years. Sorry, I won't be back and I should get a refund.

They have a stand at the farmers market in downtown claremont, I have never really liked hummus but today when I tried it I could not stop eating!!!! There garlic flavor pita chips are sooooo delicious I can eat them without the hummus they are so addicting. Best hummus I have tried it has me over here googling where there main location is at I can't wait until my parents try (they've never had hummus before) I didn't buy enough today cuz I just wanted to try it but definitely gonna go back and have my parents try. *the avocado jalapeño one is my favorite!

    Everything is so darn good!

Found Moms Specialty Food at the Farmer's Market right outside of the Kaiser in Anaheim. I received awesome service, I sampled pretty much everything they had available and kept falling in love with all the flavors. I am a huge Mediterranean food fan, especially garlic spread and hummus. I was blown away by the awesome flavors that were created by M.S.F. Some of my faves (actually the ones I ended up purchasing) were the Garlic spread, Jalapeno and Cilantro hummus and the Baba Ganoush. Check them out, 3 for $11 is a hella good deal. Usually one tub of hummus is about $4ish at the market, so you can save a little bit of money here and support a small business.

AMAZING. Great hummus and dips for great prices! It was hard to choose since there were so many delicious looking flavors! I do love a good hummus and it's not always easy to find! Now i have a new spot that i know will always have delicious hummus and dips for me to try! The customer service was beyond amazing. The gentleman helping me choose the hummus flavors was very very kind and helpful. Told me all of his favorites and what they pair well with! Everything is homemade, even the pita bread! If you are not a hummus fan, try the Tzatziki or cucumber tomato salad! There is something there for everyone and i will DEFINITELY be back next weekend to try more flavors!

    So dang good!

I got the Black Bean Chipotle Hummus with Harissa (I believe I explained that correctly) and oh my gosh was it BOMB! Perfectly spicy and you can really taste the love in this stuff. It kept burning, but I could not stop going back for more and more! You can eat it with anything really. Pretzels, pita chips, soft pita bread..... a spoon.... oh wait that might just be me that does that. SO yummy!

    The tub o'tastinesd!

Best damn hummus in Long Beach, and you can only get it Thursday afternoons. I've been buying from this family for almost two decades and the quality hasn't lessened a bit in all that time. Try the lemon chips!

    Yum!!

I find the staff to be exactly what the internet says about them- easy to converse with, super helpful, and probably making their way through college (at least the ones that have helped me so far are). There was one time where I timidly asked a question about a food they had out of stock and the cashier just yelled out what I asked for and they had someone busting a mission to find it! I didn't even need it that badly but that has been a core Joe memory for me. Shout out to that staffer whose name escapes me. Since I don't have a huge family to feed, Trader Joe's has been my go-to for just the right amount of food that I can finish without letting it go bad. Shout out to the Mango Cream Bars, Bulgogi Fried Rice, and Boneless Skinless Chicken Thighs. If there's anything consistent in my life, it's those three.

Then another bakery gal named Gaby jumped in saying Sarah didn't know what she was talking about and took my cake order. The price of the cake was $65+. Well to my surprise I received a call the following day to say that the way Gaby had written up the cake order that they can't and don't make that type of cake. I asked to speak to a manager and was told that she is only available in the mornings. I decided to go into the store to find out what was going on cause now I'm pissed about the whole situation. They just did another reshuffling of the aisles, which always confuses me for a while, but they added back full-size racks around the pharmacy. The last remodel added shorter racks for the medication, and they were backlit. It made the pharmacy feel special, like a store within a store. They instead cleared out the front of those same aisles for holiday seasonal displays. I think it's harder to find the medication I'm looking for now. You do need to app if you want certain deals, but check that receipt because they don't always work. I've had to call someone over twice in the past few months because the signage didn't match the price given. I feel bad for people who may not have or want a smartphone. You'll often feel like you're interrupting a conversation between two employees unless you use self-checkout. I also hate that you have to answer a couple of questions every time you swipe/tap to pay. They always want a donation for something, and/or ask, "Would you recommend this location to someone else?" I'd like to opt out of those. The selection around the store is pretty good, and they do have good sales. There are a couple of things I need to buy at another grocery store, but they can't have everything. I do like the gas discount at Chevron stations. Finally, the bathrooms are gas-station-level. Always dirty, graffiti in places, chipped tiles, and/or sinks. Paper towels are usually on the floor. It's not a pleasant experience. Now I'm not a fan of having a code to get into the bathroom, but if they remodeled these, and they were nice, I wouldn't mind. ,

When we went to customer service, we were informed that the store was actually still open until 10:00 PM. What made the situation even more upsetting was that after refusing to serve us, the cashier immediately rang up the customer behind us. If the store was truly closed, why were other customers still being checked out? The entire interaction felt targeted, disrespectful, and humiliating. While I cannot know the cashier's intentions, being denied service while another customer was served moments later left my friends and me feeling singled out and unwelcome. Rather than argue, I left all of my items behind and walked out. I have shopped at 99 Ranch for years and never expected to experience something like this. I hope management reviews the surveillance footage and register activity from Register 14 around 9:00 PM on June 6, 2026, and addresses why customers were falsely told the store was closed while others continued to receive service. HOWEVER, it's such an unpleasant experience I have to mentally prepare myself for issues every time I go there. Ever since the new year, when California switched over to new plastic bags for produce, they seem to have trouble stocking them. Do you know how annoying it is to buy a bunch of cilantro and have nothing to put it in? I complained to the checker about it today and they claims it's a warehouse issue but no other grocery store I go to, including the Anaheim Hills Ralphs, has this problem. It's a poor management problem. How difficult is it to anticipate your bag usage and order ahead? Doesn't seem that hard. I wanted to get garlic today and they had a small selection of a couple dozen bulbs that were either moldy or growing shoots so now I have to go to Vons for it. The self checkout system has some weird algorithm where they flag you for a further inspection all the time. Last time I asked it was because I had an extra unused shopping bag in my cart. No other store flags me like this. I get they have to deal with light fingered VP high school kids flooding the store after school but you could tweak your system. They have a person literally watch you check out three feet away. The aisles are tight and it's such a pain to navigate. I don't know why they haven't expanded this store years before now. Overall, Ralph's is a good grocery chain but this store is awful. Corporate should step in and look over management's shoulder to bring it up to the standards of the rest of their stores.
