I loved the work done on my nails! I got them done here a month ago and they are still on, with no cracks on the acrylic whatsoever! Very solid work. Of course, due to regrowth they need filling by now, but everything else is as when I walked out. Was particularly happy with the design, because I wanted the gold curls. Though they did not have decorations like that, Kelvin went ahead and 3D sculpted them on my nails. I was pleased with the dedicated effort! The only reason why I am dropping a star is because the staff is a little cold. Not much attempt at conventions, not many smiles or interactions. The place was dead silent and I wished I could at least listen to some radio instead of awkwardly staring at the wall or my nails the whole time. I do not hold it against them, can't force these things on someone, but I point it out so that people don't think they are just being rude. I just think it is simply their personality. Went here as a last minute Friday because I didn't make appt with normal girl at a different salon. I had never been to this location and I shouldn't have sat and waited the 5 minutes after just the appearance, serious pretty dirty looking with cheesy decor and lighting. I needed a quick fill for my get away weekend and figured black gel color... easy enough right. First thing that I noticed was different and off was she didn't buff them and I questioned why and she said it was because I was using gel it was better not to ‍ that was new to me but whatever. Then when she was done filing she started applying the polish, again didn't ask me to rinse and said I didn't need to...hmmm. She also doesn't apply oil to cuticles after finished. The following evening the polish felt weird, sticky almost. Did dishes and noticed the top coat was almost squishy like there was water under the top layer. After drying hands I realized the top coat peeled off (pointing finger in pic) and others are starting to do same. Save your money people and don't go here to get a cheap job in a dirty salon with nails peeling after 36 hours. ‍ read more

Went in 6 days ago and got a full set of acrylics. I got red sparky coffin style nails and they literally all just fell off. I lost 2 of them only 4 days after getting my set and planned on going in to get them fixed but was too busy with work. Then within the last 2 days they all came off. I've never had a set of nails lift and fall off so fast. Complete waste of a 37 dollar set. I'm never going back here. read more

Horrible experience!! I requested that I have flowers with small stone in the center and nail woman said my hand was too small... Wouldn't add a third coat like I requested then there was fuzzy strings of cotton under the gel that she insisted was just my nail! I asked to speak to the person on charge and they didn't want to get him (guy with long hair) came over and fixed my nails. Still charged me full price. NOT COMING BACK HERE!!!!!!!!!!! This salon doesn't deserve any of these 5 star reviews. It has the worst customer service ever!!! Especially if you are a new customer, they are very condescending and treat you like you are stupid if you say them taking yout nails off is hurting or anything of that sort. You can tell they are nicer to the customers that get all the extra ghetto bling bling and designs they love to do, if you look at their instagram pics you will know what I mean. Went in for a fill sat down and no one greeted me or said anything so I waited for 10 minuets and a lady finally came and asked me what I needed? I told her a fill she said okay come on I told her oh no I want him to do it she looked at me and said oh... no!!! He's by appointment only!! And then just walked away I would of let her do it but she just walked away after that . She was rude so I just left and went somewhere else I'm not going to put my money into a business that doesn't make me feel welcome. I came here because a customer of mine recommended this place. I got my first set, and they looked great, they were still in great shape when I went back to get a fill. I used to drive to Riverside to get my nails done, and no longer need to do so. I use Kalvin for my fills, and one of the ladies for my pedicure. When I first got here, they told me I had fungus on one of my big toe nail, and they cut the nail as deep as it would go and put medicine, and now it is all gone. All in all is a quick efficient service, they know what they are doing and they do them the way you like, and they often know what you are going to ask for before you do. read more

I went in today to get a mani pedi. Let me tell you the service here was absolutely fabulous. I went in after a long day and was just trying to relax and get pampered. The nail techs here did just that. I live in Santa Barbara and came to visit my brother for his high school graduation. In Santa Barbara a pedicure alone is $45!! So I was soooo happy to walk out of this place with a Mani and pedi for only 26! Not only was it less expensive, but I had such a great experience. The lady I had massaged my legs and hands and I got the basic mani $10 and basic spa pedi $16 and she used warm towels in between to keep my legs and hands warm, and she did a great job on my nail polish. Just so so. Kinda fast, still had dead skin on my feet, thou I got the super pedi. Spa chairs were really old and lost its spring, so the massage function kinda hurt in the chair I was steered to. I have had Kelvin do my nails twice and both times my nails came out better than I expected. Why do I say expected, well I have tried two other nail salons in the area and both times I was charged for nails that were miss shaped and or sloppy. My first visit was a drop-in 30min before they closed, and these guys stayed open for me way passed they usual operating time. The second visit was an appointment, even though I arrived 30min earlier, my wait time was no more than 10min. I sporadically travel to Hemet, but now I plan my nail appointment around these visits. The workmanship has been a complete value so far! I totally recommend Kelvin! read more

If I could give this place negative stars I would! So. I walked in today with no appointment but they said the wait for a gel mani would be 10mins. No problem. After waiting 20 mins I asked how much long again they said ten mins. After waiting 45 mins with my toddler they finally are ready for me. They lady is super rude along with the man at the front desk. She also filed my nails with the Dremel nail file instead of trimming my cuticles. This cause my nails to bleed. I left the salon with raw cuticles. If that wasn't bad enough as she was painting my nails I realized my color was still see through after 3 coats & was no where near the color I choose. So I asked her nicely to do a top color of a brighter purple so it actually looked like I was wearing nail polish. It seemed like they added water to the polish to make it last longer for them. But she clearly had a problem with that. And it took her over an hour and 15 minutes just to give me a basic manicure. I would not recommend this place. read more

So happy that I switched from my old previous Nail Salon to Mon Ami, after great reviews and my phone call to them swayed to give them a try. I was taken aback from the second I entered. Not only is the decor great, its clean and staff is friendly. Unlike other places this place really makes you feel welcomed without over doung it. I had an appt with Claudio who happened to be finishing up with his other client. I wasnt greeted with the, It'll be 15 mins" thing other salons say. The best part was when I showed him photo of what I wanted, he didnt hesitate he was confident and started on me immediately. The only problem and it wasnt really a problem was that the polish was almost not going to cover the job. He promised to give me a couple of coats once the order came in.
