Front office has poor customer service skills, including the manager, Rachael. I think her last name starts with a 'B'. When I asked for her business card, she said she didnt hv one. There was no greeting when I arrived...just handed me a clip board after I gv my name. I arrived an hr early as I had to update my info. I've been going to the Bedford location 7+ yrs; seems the front staff changes often bc I didnt recognize any of them since my last visit abt 6 mos prior. I've never had any issues until yesterday. The manager did not follow HIPPA guidelines by discussing (LOUDLY) my concerns/questions as I was standing in the lobby w other patients. I told her she had a hostile demeanor which I feel was bc I was inquiring abt a screening that I thought I could decline. I've declined other svcs in the past and nothing was ever said so I thought it was ok, especially since Medicare said it was optional. When I told Rachael what Medicare said, she said Medicare CANNOT dictate treatment plans or tell them how to run their office & said I was free to leave if I wanted to. She kept interrupting me when I was trying to clarify my question. I never raised my voice as I felt this was a personal matter & I already felt humiliated that other patients were listening & staring at us. I eventually told her I did not want to discuss my personal business in front of others. She then took me about 3 feet away where patients could still see AND hear us. Regardless of how low I spoke, she continued to speak in a loud hostile tone. When I told her she was being hostile she said 'not at all' and continued her same loud tone. She would not let me get my full questions out before interrupting me. After the back & forth, she FINALLY said this particular cancer screening is required by all regardless of what insurance one has. She THEN said the patient pays for it once annually although the procedure is performed twice annually. I'm not sure why she didn't explain that from the beginning! I believe the screening was about $35 in which she said I owed. She added that I had denied the screening on my last visit and couldn't deny it again. Nobody EVER told me about a mandate on my next visit so I was confused. I thought it was an optional svc. One of her staff members finally printed my records & showed the manager where I had already paid AND had a $55 credit. Instead of apologizing, she simply said the office printed my docs prior to my arrival and just walked off. She mumbled something like 'all of this for nothing'. I would think a manager would check such things AND abide by HIPPA before trying to humiliate someone simply bc they want clarification. AND why did I have to tell her I didnt want to discuss my personal issues in front of patients? Monarch still owes me $43, per my credit. I did tell the hygienist & the dentist that the manager had humiliated me, etc. I am trying to see what my next steps are bc I do not want to interact w Rachael again. I just want them to return my credit ($43) as I search for another dentist. read more

My experience with Monarch has been highly unsatisfactory. During a recent procedure, it took three separate appointments before the issue was correctly addressed. This led to significant inconvenience and concern about the quality of care. To make matters worse the problem, a dental bridge that Monarch put in broke within a year of the procedure. A bridge should last for several years, so its premature failure is a serious matter and very careless. Following the failure of the bridge, I went into the office to have Monarch look at it. I felt rushed and was told they would call me back, but they never did. Since then, I have made multiple attempts to contact the office, but my calls have not been returned. They screwed up and not willing to resolve the issue that was caused by carelessness and incompetent I am very disappointed with both the clinical work and the customer service I received. I went there on a Friday in October due to a dental emergency. My regular dentist was not available. I have 2 insurances and presented both of them at the time of my appointment. I have been getting phone calls from these people 14 times a day. (Mind you I have never received a bill) I finally picked up and they said that I have a balance of like 293.30. Mind you I have 2 insurances AND paid 104.00 at the time of service. The collections woman said to contact Monarch Dental so I did. The woman I spoke with stated they don't take dual insurances and I owe 293.30. I asked why they just didn't bill it themselves and Jennifer told me that they do not accept dual insurance and I would have to submit it myself. Are you kidding me? Just a word to the wise, if you have dual insurances, do not use these people. I did not have an issue with the service received, just the horrible customer service and billing. read more

So I don't know what these other reviews are about but my experience today with Kelli, Arion, Jessica, Reeba and Dr Ahmed has been fantastic! I had a dental emergency today and they got me squeezed in last minute and took great care of me every step of the way. They checked on me frequently to make sure everything was going well, that I was comfortable, if I needed anything, and they do wonderful dental work. Not only are they great at their profession, they have a great sense of humor to lighten up the daunting feelings that sometimes come from being at the dentist. I cannot stress enough how wonderful this experience has been. I will definitely be bringing my family over here. And the prices (with insurance) are incredibly reasonable! read more

Doctors and assistant are great. However, this location at Euless hwy 121 suffers the agony of over booked appointments due to management's carelessness. The dentist and assistants have to rush around to take care of patients. Just had my first dental cleaning since the pandemic began. I was apprehensive, but my fears were quickly put to rest. They took my temp at the front desk and I had to answer the standard questions. The hygienist was gowned up and double gloved, and was wearing a mask, goggles and a face shield. I had to rinse with an antiseptic mouthwash for 30 seconds before she began. This place is horrible and a racket. I have dental insurance and with a good insurance company and a PPO. For the first time ever after nearly 2 1/2 hours of waiting and waiting and ex-rays and dentist visit, I was told there were degrees of cleaning (never heard of that in my 67 years). Whereas I've never had to pay for a cleaning, they wanted over $500 for a cleaning. Horrible place !!!! So all that time and they get to bill my insurance for the dental visit with x-rays but walked away with no cleaning. Asked them to just do a regular cleaning like the other dentists that I've had through the years and they said no. Wow !!! read more

I am so sad to give this review. I have had nothing but excellent service at Monarch in Euless in the past. They now have a new dentist Dr. A. Patel. She performed my tooth extraction about 3 weeks ago, my plan was to get an implant once everything healed. Let me tell you, it has been a nightmare. The first bone graft came out, so a week later she put another one, ( very painful). I am still in pain to this day. It does not feel like a bone graft is even there. I now have a hole in the area where the tooth was and with something protruding out of the area. What a horrible, horrible experience!!!! I will not be returning. read more

Hats off to Dr Kol and her dental assistant! I have only been there twice for deep cleaning, and I felt very well taken care of. I thought I found my dentist ---but because of improper billing issues, I am very sad that I will no longer be seeing a great dentist. For some reason, my copay in January 2023 for similar services (deep dental cleaning) had tripled from 2020 so I checked with Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) Dental. On 1/16/2023, I paid $ 893.20 (copay) --- BCBS said that I only owe $206.20.-- so I am owed $687.00 BCBS also looked at my 2/17/2020 --- he said I only owed $115 -- I still have the receipt --- i paid 251.00 (copay) so I am still owed $136.70 All in all, I am actually owed $823.70 , and this issue has not been resolved. Much to my surprise BCBS said not all the procedures done were submitted. In March 2023 called Deb and asked her to resubmit -- I checked with her if I can just go over the procedures with my insurance and they can directly pay me directly. Deb said that they have to do something on the clinic's end and they can send the refund to my to AMEX credit card . She never resubmitted and she left the clinic around August? I had to start fresh with Melissa. I tried to explain to her the situation, Initially, I was told that I had a zero balance and Iso there is "no issue" I even called the Plano office and all that was done was to refer me back to Melissa at the Euless office "I don't see a balance in your account. I kept calling the office and these were the responses " I am by myself and cannot help you at this time -- I only have 2 days of every month to do paperwork" "I don't understand what you want us to do" "I am supposed to be at a meeting right not and it just started 2 minutes ago" "I was not the one who billed you, I am new at the clinic" "Come to the clinic and bring the paperwork with you" At the end November 2023, I called BCBS Cust Svc Rep Rigo to ask for help. He really tried to help me and called Melissa. He gave me an update and said that that he will mail Explanation of benefits from my last visit 1/2023 and from 2020 to Euless Dental Office and give Melissa step by step instructions on how to rectify the situation. He will be mailing Melissa instructions on how to properly file the claims--- one from 2020 and one from 2023 as Melissa was all by herself at the front desk and had no time to address the issue. at that time. As promised, , I received a copy of the received the documents from BCBS copy of the information that he will be sending to Monarch dental. I filed a complaint with Better Business Bureau at this time .. "A representative will contact you" was pretty much the response and I did receive phone calls and e mails from Melissa saying that she was working on the case. I called Monarch 1/26/2024 to request for an update -- I had rehash what the isse was -- "ask your insurance to call us --" I have a meeting, which started 2 minutes ago so I cannot talk right now." Later that afternoon, I called BCBS --- James S asked me to conference call Melissa, BCBS. Melissa obtained his contact information and said that she will call James on Monday, Jan 29. since she all by herself at the clinic and had to take care of customers. Before the conference call, James informed me that there is an Appeal/Complaint department at BCBS for cases like mine. I also gave an update to Better Business Bureau. I--I will be 66this year and will be retiring soon. BEWARE! I read good reviews and went. BIG MISTAKE!!! The absolute WORST experience of my life going here! The first visit was odd. I went asking for a cleaning, xrays, and exam. I was told to rinse my mouth, got xrays, and then was told I needed $1000 worth of cleaning and Arestin. I want my mouth healthy so I agreed. I was told I need 2 crowns replaced. I paisd and did the cleaning and received the Arestin that day. Icame back and started the crown process a few days later. They removed the old crown, did a filling, and placed a temporary crown. I have 3 crowns from a good dentist so I know what the experience is supposed to be like. It was weird. I have never been numbed the way these people numb. The doctor is rough and injects way too fast so it is not just uncomfortable but very painful. The assistant stands beside you patting your arm. I got the temporary and left following all instructions (don't chew or floss on that side until you get permanent). I had no issues or pain with the temporary for 3 weeks. Went back to get permanent and it was the worst experience of my life...LITERALLY. The assistant ripped the temorary off with a breaking sound and I was in immediate pain. I said "Ow" but she continued. After the third very rough ripping, I could not stand the pain. I started profusely sweating. I told her to stop and get the dentist to numb me. They explained why they don't numb. I said I cannot proceed. It felt like she injured me/my tooth. I was in so much pain when the dentist came in. She started roughly numbing me and I still could not stand for them to get near the tooth. I have never experienced anything like this. It went on and on until I was sweaty and started uncontrollably crying. She continued to VERY PAINFULLY try to numb me. And at one point it made a popping noise and a week later my jaw still hurts. They decided they were not happy with the crown and placed another temporary. I got home and my entire face swelled on that side. I had already paid as did the dental plan, but I am too scared to go back. When I went to check out and get my return torture...I mean crown appointment, I was in shambles and crying. The front desk lady blurted out "BUMMER! You couldn't get your crown?!" It was one of the more traumatizing things I have gone through. I could not even go back to work. I am now seeing another dentist tomorrow eventhough I already paid Monarch because I am so afraid of being hurt again. I had to wait a week to finally not be in pain. I am a single mother that works in the medical field and does not have extra money for these things, but I cannot face that pain trauma and missing a whole day of work again. It is a shame that I had to suffer to learn that it is better to go to a qualified, place. If they cannot numb you...they probably should not do work. My hope is others like me will heed this warning and not go through the pain that I did. If there is a 1% chance you have a similar experience, trust me..it is not worth it! read more

Upon examination I was told by the Manager, Robbie, that I needed a deeper cleaning that would cost anywhere from $550-$1100! I advised that I just wanted the normal cleaning that we had agreed on but Robbie refused the cleaning and advised that it was against ADA regulations to do such a cleaning if a deeper cleaning was necessary. I have since conferred with another Dentist and also the ADA and found that this is absolutely not true and that I should be able to have a normal periodontal cleaning performed if that is my desire. I have run into this situation before with this Dentist office trying to upsell me on unnecessary work which i have declined in the past. I refused the newer costly treatment and upon leaving I was forced to pay for xrays and an exam at a cost of $59 which I had to have done again by a new Dentist. I followed up in the review to Monarch and checked the box that I would like to be contacted regarding this matter. I never heard from them so I filed a complaint with the BBB. Monarch's response was they would contact me which they never did. I love this place, but first is first. My first visit here was not AT ALL pleasant. I came in while the permanent dentist (at the time), Dr. Alsaadi, was away on vacation. I needed to get a root canal done urgently, so I agreed to having the temp dentist do it. Boy was that a mistake! It was my first root canal done ever so I was nervous. After she finished "numbing" me she started picking at the tooth, drilling and all that comes with it. Midway through the procedure I started feeling everything! It hurt like a mother! She then shot me up with more anesthesia & started picking again. At this point I was in tears! I could still feel it all! It wasn't until the angel of a dental assistant, Cristina, started making hints & comments to this temp that it would be a good idea if she stopped. I was traumatized after this visit. I gave them a second chance and returned when Dr. Alsaadi was back from his vacation. This is when the greatness of all heavenly earth came upon me. He is so thorough in explaining things, gentle & may I add, handsome! (Hehe) The manager (at the time, forgot her name) gave me nitrous oxide for my unfinished root canal procedure to calm my nerves, at no charge, because of my previous unfortunate event. As soon as Alsaadi began numbing me I saw AND felt the difference. He knew what he was doing, half of my face was completely numb. I almost fell asleep through the whole thing. I didn't feel a thing. He continued doing work on my teeth after that, I had finally lost my fear of the dentist office. Unfortunately, because Alsaadi is the teeth whisperer, he opened his own practice in Irving. He left Monarch, but I can't help but be happy for him! I'm still getting checkups & have met the new dentist. She hasn't don't any major work on me yet, so I can't give a review on her, yet. The only reason I'm still sticking around is for Cristina (dental assistant). She calms my nerves, knows my teeth & my preferences. She works really hard in pleasing you & is very gentle with what she does. If shes not in, I'm out! I'm sort of just waiting around until she becomes my dentist! And of course, Ms. Mable at the front desk. She's a sweet heart & always goes out of her way to work with my hectic schedule to get me in. Overall this office deserves the 5 stars!! There is a Monarch Dental less then 4 minutes from my house and I pass by 2 more Monarch Dentals just to go to this location at Glade Park in Euless. I am not a fan of going to the dentist but Dr.Kol is amazing! Not only did she put my anxiety at easy she also took the time to explain everything in detail along with exactly why my procedures needed to be done. I completely love her philosophy of not feeling uncomfortable or pain. There were many times that my jaw would start to cramp up and she was more then willing to help loosen my jaw and get the cramp out and give me a small break to rest it. I have never had a dentist willing to give my mouth a small break. Over all my experience at this location is truly the best I have ever experienced. Reeba and Jessika are super friendly. They both explain everything ahead of time and have this calming attitude that helps make doing to the dentist office a more pleasant experience. Ashely took care of my general cleaning switch had been years since I had it done. I loved how informative she was and evening taking the time to show proper flossing! Robbi and Nicole, have the best customer service. The first time I visited this office they helped me come up with a payment plan I can afford. I have also been able to see their kind personalities not only with me but with other clients as well. It really is a pleasure being greeted by them when I go for my appointments. I could not of asked for a better experience from the moment I walked in the door to my procedures and to goodbyes when I left. The staff here at this office made my transition smooth and easy. They made me feel welcome right away. So glad I got referred there by a friend! I arrived yesterday at 3:45 for my appointment and the office was closed. The door was locked and the open light was not on. I called several times and noone answered. Disappointed. I went in on a $29 special for exam and cleaning. Did not receive a cleaning and they only took two pics of my teeth. The dentist comes in to tell me that some of my fillings were very deep and I need to see an endo. She uses the mirror and checks my tooth and bangs it which made my tooth hurt. She notices me wince and says that I really should be seen by the endo since I am in pain. I am like, I wouldn't be in pain if you did not bang your mirror tool on my tooth. I was fine till now. She said she would do a referral to the endo and that she was not going to finish my exam and cleaning...... I got charged the $29 for nothing. Last month, January 2022, had a small infection on lower left, she diagnosed. She injected some antibiotics and prescribed amoxicillin 500ml, milked insurance $650. Had to pay $250 myself. Asked me to come back in 4 weeks, in all 4 weeks I couldn't chew with left side at all, and pain, got to see her again after a month and she in her words, Said: basically my antibiotics didn't do anything, you need a specialist, that's exactly what I needed at first place, she knew an injection in my gum wouldn't do much, charged so much for doing so little, and keep me in pain for a month. While I am in pain and infection, she tells me I need a deep cleaning, crown and fillings, mind you I am having infection and pain ... very unkind of her to keep me in pain for a month and act like a sales person, No thank you, I won't visit you again ever. Not to mention I waited for her specialist and treatment plan cost for 30 min in waiting room and she was busy with other customers and didn't provide that for me, eventually reception told me to go and that she will call my mobile phone to let me know. I am impressed with Dr. Edwards. I've had multiple consultations with other orthodontists who are nothing more than used car salesmen telling you anything to get you into costly Invisalign braces. This Dr. had every opportunity actually sell them to me as I was ready to buy but he didn't because they would not have done as much for me in my case than the least expensive option that he recommended. This dental office are like a car salesmen. They want to sell you everything! Don't! I chose this dental office based on their reviews....but now I find some of them to be questionable. I went in as a new patient. My appointment was made for 2 but I got there at 1:30 to fill out paperwork. I was called to get my x-rays and must've had at least 15 x-rays taken of the inside of my mouth. After being there for over an hour, I asked if I was going to get my teeth cleaned and they said someone needed to talk to me about the treatments before. I found that unusual because they usually do that at the end of the appointment. While waiting, the woman who took my x-rays took more pictures of my mouth..but this time it was with her phone! I was told I needed a special cleaning and was refused a regular cleaning. They wanted me to pay all of these Out-of-Pocket expenses. Please know that I have good teeth and I care for them! I walked out TWO HOURS after I got there and was completely irritated. I ended up going to Zoetic Dental in Euless and the dentist cleaned my teeth himself! OMG... Today was THE best dentist visit ever. For me of all people to say this, it was a truly amazing experience. For years and years I have hated going to the dentist. Today was no different until after we were done. I got up out of the chair and felt good. Usually I cry and feel like I'm two steps away from death. Dr. Gowda was great. NOT today. Once Dr. G got started the extraction was a breeze. I truly didn't feel anything. She explained everything and really made me feel relaxed. FYI, the rude lady at the front isn't there anymore so you're greeted with a smiling face and happiness from Angela. (Big plus). Krystal, the dental assistant is a gem!! I went to Monarch Dental for a cleaning and possible retainer treatment. I was told by Dr. Lynda Kol that I have decay on three of my back teeth and she proceeds to show me this in the X-rays that was just taken (I'm looking at the X-rays like this does not look like decay, the entire X-ray was black and grayish). As the exam went on Dr. Kol stated that I need to have a "Deep root cleaning" due to the decay along with some other treatment plans that totaled $2205. No mention that the hygienist called out numbers of "Possible gum disease". Not to mention I was told that I need an "Implant". By time I left Monarch dental I was given "3 different referrals" for dental work that "WAS NOT NEEDED". Something told me to get an second opinion. Today I went to Trinity Family dental (Great service) and was told that my teeth are in great shape, there's no decay, no signs of gums disease and a retainer would be a waste of time and money. I see why this office does not get the business they need! They'll tell you anything to get money from your insurance carrier and to keep you coming back for unnecessary treatment plans. I've also called MetLife my dental carrier to advise them and faxed them over a copy of the treatment plan that was given to me by Monarch Dental and the new information that was given to me by Trinity Family dental! These businesses are a money scheme!!! Let's just say I have reported them to the BBB! read more

I went into have 5 fillings in my front teeth, and 2 extractions, I had a horrible infection that came out with my teeth and Dr Kol really did a beautiful job on my fillings, and called me through the weekend to make sure I was ok, because the infection left me feeling bad.
