Dr. Dinh is an excellent dentist, very down to earth and relatable. I asked him about using a water pick. He made it clear that it isn't a replacement for flossing and said in most cases isn't worth the hassle. His report was very straightforward, he didn't try to up sell me on a single item or scare me into thinking that I would need any future work. I really appreciated the traditional style of dentistry here. the following is a recount of the most horrific experience i've ever had at a dentists when i arrived at the office for my appointment at 12:20 p.m. on april 3rd  20 20, dr. dinh was sitting down at the front desk entry area. it would later prove to be rather odd due to the fact he was running 40 minutes behind yet gave me no notification of this fact while checking in but found time to sit down doing nothing. i am an african-american. i had braids in my hair. dr. dinh looked me up and down as though my hairs appearance was a weird and unacceptable look. he addressed me by my first name and handed me  a dirty computer tablet with no gloves on that he just been typing on. i had gloves and wipes ready to clean it myself. i am a front line health care provider who has worked in the medical field for 30 years. i just lost my mother to covid-19 . the only reason i am still alive is because when i appear in public i am uber cautious to keep on a pair of gloves and i carry clorox wipe to keep items that i have to touch clean. i was taken to the back and told to wait in one of the examrooms. the furniture and chairs in the examroom  were dirty. i was held there for over 30 minutes when dr.dinh emerged from a different exam room,  went to his sink in the hallway and did not wash his hands for more than 5 seconds. he then donned a pair of gloves and entered my exam room. he asked me if i was ready. a sarcastic a d calous question after knowing hed left me to wait almost 40 minutes.  never apologizing for the  ridiculously long wait. once in his chair,  he looked in my mouth,  grabbed a few ltems and stopped working.  he then commenced to violating my hippa privacy rights by insisting on me telling him whether or not i'd had the covid 19 vaccination.  i asked if it was mandatory for this information to be divulged before having work done.  he said no and i never answered his question.he got angry because i refused to let him violate my right to privacy of medical information.   he left the room. when i looked at the sterile field where the items were placed that would be used on me, i saw he took  the dirty pair of gloves he'd just taken off and threw them onto the sterile field on top of the clean instruments he was going to put in my mouth . when he returned, he had no gloves on but brought more items to use in my mouth and dumped those on top of the dirty gloves on the sterile field. then he. pretended that he didn't know how to do his job .he asked me what color composite did the last dentist use to fix my chipped tooth 13 years ago. as though he didn't have the professional skills to color match. he was doing and saying anything he could to avoid caring for me just short of telling me, i don't want to serve you because your black and this is a white neighborhood.  i became concerned. i told him my previous doctors never discussed color matching and numbers with me. i also  asked him to remove the dirty gloves from the sterile field knowing  there is a chance of contamination.  he  asked me what the big deal was with the dirty gloves being on the sterile field. he said i shouldn't tell him how to do his job. he then asked me to leave his office.  he was rude, unprofessional and most of all he placed my health at risk during a deadly  pandemic because he felt my black life didn't matter. this man took an oath to do no harm and not exercise bias in the manner in which he takes care of patients. clearly he is violating this oath and cares nothing about the deadly pandemic that is taking place. he had no social distancing in  his office.  patients were sitting right next to each other.  typical profits over patient safety approach!!!! read more

I wish that there were more GENTLE, CARING, SKILLED DENTIST like Dr. Dennis Dinh. My first visit was nerve wrecking truth be told because I have not been to a dentist in a..... WHILE. Which I had a lot that needed to be done so Dr. Dennis was very patient with me and saw how terrified I was about the work that is being done, so he was so calm and walked me through every step before doing anything to my teeth. Overall, my experience was unforgettable esp. the quality numbing product that is use at his office allowed me to feel less pain and complete support from all staff. Shine bright Dentistry has changed my way of thought and fear about going to see a dentist. AWESOME DOCTOR ON TEETH! The best dentist I would ever recommend. I just got my wisdom tooth pulled out today and he made it feel like it was a comfortable breeze. Dr. Dinh truly makes me feel like family. Dr. Dinh has been my primary dentist for quite a few years. I even switched my daughter to see him, recommending others to his office when he asked for referrals. Most recently, I have had a severe tooth pain, needing his assistance. I have contacted the office three times, with no personnel returning my calls. I had to go to someone else for temporary relief until I was able to see Dr. Dinh. I finally got a hold of the staff and asked for the Dr to return my call at his earliest convenience so I can let him know what is going on. It's been 3 business days with no response. Pretty disappointed that I have yet to receive a call so I guess it's time to look for a new primary dentist. read more

I went in person and I could hear the manager complaining about having to do her job and how crazy I am because I actually expect some kind of customer service. The TV on the ceiling was a great plus, I was able to relax before the procedure and it definitely made the experience better than I expected. Made a dentist appointment for my daughter who goes to college. I had to take off work and fly my daughter out, only to find out that they closed and didn't notify us. They would not answer any of our calls and the next day calling, the receptionist was very inconsiderate and did not compensate us for the appointment AND hung up on me without calling back. I just had the least unpleasant visit at the dentist I have ever had! I can't say I would ever enjoy going to get my teeth cleaned and get a check up but this would be the closest I've ever had. It's been years since I had gone to the dentist and a filling fell out. I called and they got me in first thing the next day. They found that I need two fillings, an extraction, and needed a tooth implant. None of this was surprising to me. Their prices were very reasonable and with my dental insurance I was shocked at how affordable it was. I was expecting to pay a lot more. Even with my sensitive tooth that needs to be extracted, the cleaning was not painful. I hate the feeling and sound of metal on teeth but the lady who worked on me was very good and I was only uncomfortable a few times, no pain! read more

Shine Bright Dentistry is modern, clean and professional. I thought the TV on the ceiling was quite clever as it helped distract my cleaning (got caught up on my Walking Dead!) Dr. Dinh is very personable, caring and extremely thorough. Also the rest of the staff were sweet and helpful. If you don't have dental insurance they have an in-house plan where you pay a one time fee and you get two cleanings and discounted prices on treatments within that year. I came here for a cleaning, also to find out I had a cavity & need a crown to replace. I did the cleaning, came back for the cavity & crown on another visit. I must say though, the office was a very updated & you can view a movie when they lay you back for the cleaning or any other procedures that needs to be done. I was kinda disappointed bc I didn't get to finish my movie on Netflix,(U get earphones & made it less distracted.) I hate the fact when you have to wait for the dentist.
