This location is beyond amazing!! We showed up 10mins after they closed with an emergency. My 8yr old daughter broke the cable on her braces and it was cutting into her lip. The office manager Jesus asked one of the doctors if they could take a fast look. Doctor Evesquial came in to save the day and shortened the cable. You can tell this places main concern is customer service. Everyone was so polite and made us feel welcomed. I went in because I had horrible tooth ache for my wisdom tooth. They did the X-rays and the doctor came in to check in with me. She prescribed antibiotics, was helpful and considerate. My Initial Appointment was rescheduled because they called right before close on a Friday to verify my dental insurance, then told me since my insurance company was closed for the week already, that they had to reschedule my Saturday appointment out two weeks (due to unorganized office management and lack of concern for patient's time) 2. The day of my (rescheduled) initial appointment, they called and told me to come in a few minute sooner because they were free, so I did. I ended up waiting over an hour just in the waiting room. (Again, due to unorganized office management and lack of concern for patient's time) 3. The "cleaning" they provide was very minimal but they spend most of your time trying to sell everyone on Invisalign (there are no doors so you can hear conversations with each patient). How is it that myself, my husband, and other patients all have the same teeth issues? Invisalign products and advertisements are plastered all over the office so it's obvious they'd get some sort of commission. (Profit over patient needs) 4. They lure you in with the promise of free teeth whitening. So, I scheduled my teeth whitening session. Once again, they called me the day of, and asked me to come in sooner. I was in the office for an hour and half and only got ten minutes of treatment and was informed I had to schedule another day to get moldings and finish the session. (Again, due to unorganized scheduling and lack of concern for patient's time) 5. My appointment was scheduled for Monday at 3:30pm. They called me three hours earlier and told me they are closing the office early because THEY HAVE NO PATIENTS and asked me to reschedule. I had already taken time off work and arranged child care. I thought I be nice and agreed to move it to the next day, Tuesday. (Again, due to unorganized scheduling and lack of concern for patient's time) 6. WHEN I SHOWED UP FOR MY APPOINTMENT THE OFFICE WAS CLOSED. NO PRIOR COMMUNICATION! I had again taken off work and arranged child care for a closed office! I went in for a cleaning this morning. My first one in YEARS... It's embarrassing, but whatever. This establishment is in the BCBSTX network and was near my house. Appointment was easy to set up over the phone. I showed up on time and completed the standard new patient paperwork. I was seen quickly.. very quickly. As in, no time to even open my phone for a game. That was very nice! KAY was the hygienist and she was an amazing professional. VERY good at her job! She did a fabulous job of taking teeth pictures. I appreciated how quickly she did her thing. Dr. Moustafa was equally impressive. I appreciated how quickly she did the cleaning, considering it had been more than 5 years since my teeth were last cleaned. Dr. Moustafa was very professional. NOW... it has been an obvious while since my teeth were cleaned. I remembered it previously going, "show up, take pictures, get the news, clean your teeth, go home." I guess things have changed... Although very sweet and polite, they gave me two different sales pitches before leaving. I was pitched Invisalign teeth correctors because my front bottom teeth are rubbing the back of my top teeth and could crack (?) over time. The deal was $4,000, but we could take $1,000 off, insurance would cover $1,500 and I was already pre-approved for $3,200 in credit. I wasn't prepared for a significant financial decision, so I declined... I kinda just wanted a teeth cleaning. Fluoride was offered for an additional $20. It was weird. I understand this is a professional dentist office and that bills need to get paid! It was just a little uncomfortable declining such polite dental offers from such beautiful women. Overall, I recommend this establishment. Be prepared for sales pitches if your teeth suck as much as mine! read more

Yelp needs to have the option of ZERO OR NEGATIVE STARS! I VOTE NEGATIVE 5 stars for Roanoke Ideal Dental! Edit#2! And then your practice replies to my negative yelp review with a bunch of bullcrap! Apparently y'all don't understand; people don't LIKE NOR LOVE being taken advantage of by any business entity! The best guest experience we could have is going to a different dentist/dental practice... Y'all SHOULD look at who's minding your "store" in Roanoke! EDIT: A recent discussion I had with my daughter after this yelp review as we were also reading another person's review of this same location leads me to believe something is very fishy at Roanoke Ideal Dental! My daughter had her teeth cleaned about 8 months prior to this appointment in August. No cavities! Not even the start to a cavity forming! In August she was seen by the dentist in Roanoke and 'immediately' they said they needed to take care of her cavity. (2) Why so quick? Perhaps business is so slow they do this follow up care right away, or do they think: since they have you in the hot seat, why not take advantage of your money and insurance! (Before you have a chance to escape their bullcrap dentistry!) I'm prone to believe they filled two cavities in otherwise healthy teeth! We will not ever return to this practice! Her experience was negative enough to cause me to call the practice. When I followed up with the office manager, Heather, sadly she was "dishonest" in her recounting of the events of my daughter's LOUSY experience! I don't ever find dishonesty a positive attribute, and followed up to point out these facts to her! Their "dentist" and his dental assistants comments to my daughter were totally unprofessional! I was disgusted by what they said to my daughter! A few days later I had to pick up a corrected billing document and one of the staff admitted she was at fault for running her mouth making inappropriate comments to my daughter while she was sitting in the dentist's chair having her teeth worked on. Y'all are ignorant! After this, I then cancelled all future 6 month followup appointments that were made and clearly let the office manager know we wouldn't continue to be two of their customers! A followup bill that was received after the insurance paid requested additional payment from my daughter and upon calling to verify, the manager said those charges would be deducted. Two months later it was learned that the office manager had overcharged my daughter. To my dismay I had to now get a new itemized bill, and get this $ back that she had overcharged. It took almost 4 weeks to get this refund, and it took numerous phone calls to make it happen! Recently they sent us each a letter stating that they could no longer provide us with dental care. I love the Roanoke location! With 4 children and a super busy schedule, there is one person that ALWAYS takes the pressure off and gets everything worked out! Heather is my go to person at this location (and any other location for that matter!). She is professional, kind and willing to help any where she can. We have only had one cleaning but with that we had plenty of work that needed to be done. It was handled expeditiously and we have not had any issues or concerns with it. Beginning of the year we have surgery for our oldest at another location - I am hopeful they are as good and kind as this one is! read more

I am thankful for Dr. Obi and the staff. I have a fear of needles and hadn't been to the dentist in years due to lost of insurance. Once I obtained employment and insurance, I went to another dentist 1st who wouldn't provide a breakdown of what was needed and estimate of cost. However, the other dentist wanted me to purchase a discount plan. I procrastinated and went to Dr. Obi 6 months later in pain. Dr. Obi's staff was able to lay out what was needed, costs, and scheduled me in with little notice. They even helped me with my fear of needles and dental procedures. Best dental experience ever!!! I was having a tooth ache the night before and in the morning I called as soon as they opened and the front office manager was extremely helpful and probably the nicest person I have ever talked to in the phone, she told set me an appointment within the hour and even took the time to personally email me the registration forms so I was ready to go once I arrived at ideal dental. Once I got there there were 2 ladies up front and they were so nice and made a nervous me feel much better. I was early but by the time I sat down the dental assistant had already prepped the room and came and got me he immediately turned a tv on for me and got started no waiting what's so ever. The doctor came in and explained to me my options for a root canal or tooth extraction and made me feel so comfortable with my choice of a root canal. The office ladies came in to discuss finances and payment options at half the cost of what I had planned on, and to make the experience epic they completed my procedure right then and there and 3 hours after arriving I left with a temporary crown no rescheduling no can you come back tomorrow it was all done and I never had to leave the chair! I had put this surgery off for so long because going to the dentist is never a great experience and had I known it was going to be like this I could have saved myself a bunch of sleepless nights with a throbbing tooth, you guys are amazing read more
