If I could give 10 stars I would. This is one of my favorite vegan restaurants I've been to (and…read moreI'm not from St Louis, just in town visiting!) We stopped by on Friday night for dinner, the plaza it's located in was pretty quiet, the only cars seemed to be for this restaurant. I think it might be hard to find if you're not specifically looking for it. Once inside the decor is so cute though. It's fun and clean but also a little quirky. They have a TV showing animal videos in the main seating area. They have several appetizers to choose from, we opted to go with mozzarella sticks and the burnt ends. The Mozzarella sticks were gooey and a little stringy. They taste slightly more rich than a traditional dairy mozzarella sticks, but I doubt you'll find something that tastes as close to the real thing as here! The burnt ends were made of seitan and they were so delicious. The bbq sauce was very tasty and the seitan was a little charred in places. A decent portion size as well. For our mains my husband tried the tacos which he really liked, and I got the "shrimp" po boy. I think the "shrimp" was made from a mushroom protein of some sort but it looked and tasted eerily similar. I definitely never thought I'd be eating a vegan version of a po boy again and I was thrilled to see it on the menu. To top it off I got the cookies and cream vegan milkshake. Very tasty! I believe it's an oat milk base. I also liked they had some food retail items such as Rebel Cheese Brie. I've been wanting to try that brand for a long time and was excited to be able to order some to go! They also offer some non-vegan items for the meat eaters if you bring any along. I'd probably prefer to see a full vegan menu, but I understand making it easier for others to eat there as well. The staff was very friendly and smiling the whole time. I would happily go back here many days in a row to be able to try all the other items on the menu.

My husband had the brisket sandwich and fries and his plate was amazing as well! We took a sampler platter for our son and he was blown away! I finished my meal off with the blueberry pie, yum! The service was stellar! The manager made sure we didn't want for anything as well as the rest of the staff and we really appreciated that! Ordering was simple and efficient! The restaurant is a cute and modern. The lighting and outside fire pits was a whole vibe! Parking is plentiful with street parking as well as a small parking lot! I will definitely be back and I suggest everyone to try out this spot while living and visiting the STL!

We ended up at Bar Louie, more casual than the other, but we got right in. We knew fairly soon that they were short staffed in the front and in the kitchen, so we just made the most of our time together and rolled with it! The soft drinks got goofed up, but our server remedied it for us. The red sangria had a good flavor, but there was too much ice and not enough wine. The raspberry martini was refreshing, The food was good, especially the cheese curds and wing apps. The breading on the curds was delicious. Our mains were: Steak Frites (steak cooked a bit under but edible), the New Orleans chicken and shrimp pasta (spicy and tasty), the chicken club sandwich (good), fish and chips (tasty, but the fish was a bit on the greasy side ) and finally, the cheeseburger (tasty, except there wasn't supposed to be sauce and there was (but not too much to send it back). Our server did the best she could under the circumstances. The restroom was not in the best order and the dining areas needed attention, as well. The manager was bussing tables, so I think they were all doing the best that they could.

The front area for dining has an open air restaurant and an outdoor seating area as well! The only thing I would advise here for anyone considering going here is give yourself extra time to find a parking spot!

There is a wide variety of appetizers, pizzas, and drinks on special. It includes items like calamari and flatbread and wings and more. I have gone here a few times with family, with friends, and also with my dog sitting outside on the patio. They have lots of outdoor seating available and even includes happy hour when sitting there too. I have also heard from friends that it is very easy to book a larger group for food and drinks as well. I haven't yet done that myself, but will keep it in mind if needed.

I was missing the graham cracker and the marshmallow, which are the main ingredients and the reason why I ordered the drink. I got a burger, my burger was super salty. I could not finish the burger due to it being overly saturated with salt. The calamari was good. I like the fries, perfectly season and crispy. There were one waitress and a bartender. The bartender seems busy for the most part and I guess he is also our server since he took our order. I have to asked the person that brought me my food for a cup of water. The waitress is for the other end of the room. She seems to be occupied on her phone or spent quite a lot of time taking to another gentleman, not sure who he was.

Never would have thought our…read morefirst night's meal would have been some Cajun Creole food in St Louis style BBQ Country We were so pleased with our decision as their food rivaled anything in New Orleans. As an avid oyster lover, never would have guessed we would have the option for charred grilled oysters in Missouri. We demolished those in minutes and quickly moved on to our entree I ordered the jambalaya and the size the spices we're so flavorful. The shrimp was on point and the chicken almost tasted like seafood plus the andouille sausage was spicy without being too hot. They nailed the texture and firmness of the rice and highly recommend My wife went with the sampler platter and it was hard to tell between the etouffee, red beans and rice, gumbo, or jambalaya which was the best. I know tough decision to choose from but that was a slam dunk that we highly recommend! Walking throughout the establishment you could tell it totally had that Voodoo deep New Orleans vibe going on that makes you feel like it belongs in the French Quarters If you're ever in the Lou and in the mood for some good Creole Cajun food, this is the spot!

We arrived right on time for our reservation, stood for quite a few minutes in a half-empty house before being seated, then waited a very long time between visits from our apparently over-stretched waitstaff. The first cocktail I chose wasn't available; nor was the first entree. I settled on the "red wine flight", and it arrived in three glasses. The server recited their names, but I didn't catch them. Food was middle of the road. A smoked sirloin sandwich was tasty, though rather well-done. And the order of "salmon cakes", which the menu says is made of "smoked salmon, roast corn, tomato, cucumber, creme fraiche, and capers" was in fact just one cake (not cakes!), smaller than a hockey puck (about 1/2" thick max) and seemed to be made of canned fish, not the bright orange of smoked salmon. It was accompanied by five thin slices of cucumber and three or four halved grape tomatoes. No corn, no capers. It was so boring, and an overpriced disappointment at $23. If this Bridge is actually closing and focusing on the event space, they've gone out with a whimper. And if they're actually continuing service, I hope they get the food a little closer to the menu descriptions. Our drinks and water glasses were empty for long stretches. Our server was very pleasant and polite, but must've had way too much to do.
