We have encountered vents that were improperly placed over gaping holes in the ducts, electrical outlets that were placed into the wall with electrical tape, ducting kept together with duct tape (is that why it's called that?), poorly sealed new windows causing leaks into the house, newly installed cabinets separating from the ceiling, old plumbing that had been advertised as new. This last problem caused a sewage back up in the house that required three months of repair- pipes were replaced and floors, drywall, and bathroom were replaced/professionally cleaned. The list could go on and on. We understand the business of flipping houses and profit is key, but we don't think compromising craftsmanship should be allowed.
