If I could give zero stars, I would. Dealing with Stephen-with-a-V has been one of the most frustrating experiences I've had with any company, let alone a couch company. From the start, he has been completely unhelpful, dismissive, and clearly uninterested in actually doing business. Instead of resolving the issue or following through on basic customer service, he's just been pushing me along with empty promises and zero accountability. The company as a whole? A joke. Terrible communication, no follow-through, and absolutely no respect for customers' time or money. It honestly feels like they go out of their way to make things difficult. Worst quality sofa. I found this business through youtube and was trilled to receive our couch because i loved what I saw in the videos, but the couch was an utter disappointment . I referenced the couch i saw on youtube and asked for an identical built but the quality was HORRIBLE. After couple months of using the couch the seats wore out and mad our brand new couch look like a beat up old one. They use cheap foam material even when we paid more for an upgraded filling. I recently purchased a sectional sofa from Monarch and we are very happy with the sofa. Before ordering the sofa, my fiancé and I visited the showroom and was able to see several different sofas to choose from. There were also many fabric swatches available and Steven was very helpful and patient in helping us choose one that would fit for us. After ordering the sofa, it arrived a little over six weeks from the date we paid for it and so far it has been a great couch! However, although we love quality and comfort of the sofa, our sofa arrived with a visible stain and unfortunately their customer service has been less than helpful in helping us to correct this issue. When I contacted the company to let them know (bear in mind that the couch was delivered a little before 8am and I emailed them around 8:20am when we discovered the stain), they stated that their inspection pictures show the sofa free of stains and then asked if I had stained the sofa. I have since responded letting them know that the sofa arrived with the stain but have not heard back from them at all. Honestly I will not argue with them regarding this issue but we paid a lot of money for this sofa and I am disappointed that we received a dirty sofa and nothing is being done about it. read more

Please avoid this business at all costs. I originally purchased a sofa from them in 2014, when they were a far more professional, ethical, family-run business. Unfortunately, those reputable business practices have been replaced with the next generation as the new owner Ryan Jefferies has taken over the business. In 2014, Monarch had sold me a 10-year insurance policy along with my couch. After a claim arose under the policy and a new replacement sofa was approved by the insurance company (Guardsman), Monarch's true colors under its new management shone through. For starters, Steven who runs the BH office, is incredibly rude and unprofessional. I went to the store with my elderly parents to discuss the replacement and although we were the only people in the store, Steven sat at his desk and refused to help us find a similar fabric despite me bringing in a pillow from the old sectional and asking for his help. He informed me that I'd have to look at each of the swatches myself. Over the coming months, I saw that Steven's demeanor was consistently rude, patronizing, unhelpful, and misogynistic. Unfortunately, Stephanie, who is the owner's wife who runs the OC office, is not much better. My dealings with her included her trying to blame me when I said no one answered the phone at the BH office by suggesting I wasn't calling during their business hours (I was). It seems that Monarch adopts the belief that the customer is always WRONG. Steven then sent me a price quote that my original sectional had increased in price by more than 3x. Despite selling Guardsman insurance policies, Monarch does not appear to have an understanding of how they work. Steven repeatedly asked me to pay even though Monarch had been paid by Guardsman. Even after Guardsman had approved the replacement sectional, Steven then attempted to do an independent investigation and overturn Guardsman's decision (he failed). When it became clear that Monarch was contractually obligated to deliver the sofa, Steven then began a series of nonsensical excuses and delayed production of the sofa. It took him 6 weeks to prepare an invoice. It then took Monarch 4 months to deliver the sofa. Astoundingly, after waiting these six months, they delivered a different model. In addition, despite the invoice saying they were to use a premium filling of medium firmness, they used a far inferior cushioning material, completely disregarding what was on the invoice. The cushions had absolutely no support and compressed within days of use. It seemed they were attempting to get away with supplying inferior materials than what was contracted. They then said they would only fix the sofa by taking the current one, thereby leaving me with no sofa for some undetermined amount of time. After they finally agreed to make a replacement without taking the old one, they then came back and required a new condition that I drive to their factory that is 25 miles away from my home (across the entire city of Los Angeles and then some) to approve it before they would deliver it. After they expected me to waste yet another day of my life chasing after them, I stopped trying to be reasonable with them. In April 2023, I filed a claim against them in Small Claims Court in Los Angeles seeking the monetary value of the sectional that they had quoted me ($9,835) when they were trying to get me to pay additional amounts over what Guardsman insurance was covering (something they should not have been doing per the Guardsman policy). I'll bet Monarch is now regretting the inflated pricing that it gave me, because the Court awarded me their inflated value of the sofa plus costs (total of $10,210). Even after the judgment was issued by the Court, I had to chase after Monarch to get the judgment paid. Now, a year after I began the process of getting a replacement sofa, I am using that money to purchase a new custom sectional from another retailer who is more ethical and honest, and who will not try to swap the contracted materials for cheaper ones, will deliver product in a timely fashion, and will treat their customers with respect. One should not have to file a lawsuit to get the item they ordered, but if anyone is having similar issues with Monarch, I'd recommend filing a small claims action. Getting a sofa should not be this complicated, and be wary of purchasing anything from this Company. It makes me sad to see what it has become since I first used it in 2014, because at that time I recommended it to so many people because it was an honest company, and I had no complaints. But I guess that's the problem with longstanding family run businesses...sometimes the newer generations don't have the work ethic and appreciation of what it took to build the brand and can end up running it into the ground, which is what seems to be happening now. I can only imagine the generations before the current owner are so disappointed to see what it has become. read more

But after a couple weeks, it got delivered and having an attention to detail and nitpicking it all, I held the delivery guys up for 10 minutes while I inspected and measured everything and man oh man, quality in the sewing, the premium foam cushions, the legs and hardware, and fabric and construction is amazing, I gave the delivery guys $10 each and some water and am already designing a second sofa to get from here for another room. read more

I went to Monarch custom sofas in Beverly Hills believing I would get specifically what I wanted in a "custom" sectional sofa. I went into their showroom and picked out the sofa and was very particular about the height of the seating, as everyone in my family is 5'10" or above at 6'6". I asked if the seating can be higher too because I suffer back and knee disabilities and sitting to low and attempting to stand from a lower seat is difficult and causes added strain and pain. I even changed my vehicle to accommodate my disability. The sofa sat in the wearhouse for 2 months as I was remodeling and had to wait before delivery. On arrival it sat an additional 2 months for the completion of remodeling to avoid dust, paint and other flying debris. Once unwrapped and we began using the sofa we notice if felt shorter.. When we receives a call from Monarch asking how we liked our sofa, I tools him we loved it but that it was shorter than I remembered in the wearhouse specifications. I informed him of our heights and my disabilities, and he was ready to amend and said he would send out replacement legs to heighten the sectional. The sofa is extremely heavy and when set up by Monarch the locked the two pieces together. I live with my daughter and it would take two men to lift the lock apart. When my daughters boyfriend said he would be able to lift the sofa he did and tried to attach the legs. Only two were able to be successfully attached. The other 6 legs had drilled holes in the wrong places in accordance with the drill holes in the sofa. When I contacted Monarch to inform them the wrong legs for the holes were sent, this is where things went very bad. I was told they sent the legs and they had no responsibility in fixing the holes. I was told to drill new holes in the legs and or sofa to make them fit. I told Ryan and Stefanie, that we do not have the skill set to drill holes (precision mind you) in this custom piece, and that an exchange for the correct one be sent would solve the issue. I was asked to send pictures which I did and did not hear back for several months. So of late I called asking what happened. I understood we would install the new legs, but never was I told I would need to drill new holes. Then they initially said they would have a guy they secured do it. And then renigged. I spent $1600 plus cash for this sofa and now their treating me as though I did something wrong. I was told I signed something stating I would be responsible to drill holes by Stephanie in Texas and when I asked for proof if that she hung up on me. I called another number to speak to the owner and she returned the call and hung up on me again. These people had no problem collecting my money, but that the sofa was not the proper height it should have been in the first place. One man understood and had the legal sent out which in fact would make the sofa the correct height. But we could only put two of the legs on and had to just sit two unattached to make all four corners even. The other part of the sectional sits lower as a standard sofa at standard height. I would never again do business with this company. They have been rude and left me with legs I can not attach. I expressed concern at have anyone drilling into the legs or sofa and risking making matters worse by damaging either or both. I can not see why they can not send the proper legs for the sofa they built and why I'm being blamed, punished and without reason hung up on by their staff. All I want are the proper legs so I can put them on and move on. . the height on the sofa before legs is 16 1/2" the height with the legs is 21" I ask for 18-20" floor to seat.. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THEM AGAIN AS THIS IS BEYOND WRONG AND RUDE. THEY SHOULD WANT TO ASSURE THAT THEIR CUSTOMER IS PLEASED WITH A "CUSTOM SOFA"!!! read more

You start looking around at places like Wayfair. But then you remember that LAST time you bought something from Wayfair, and how it was particle-board-y and fell apart the moment your cat jumped on it. And then you start looking at furniture stores in the area, and nothing really fits the way you want it to. It's too big, or too small, or has those ugly little metal rivets all over it and all you want is a couch that isn't going to reflect light in your eyes as you stumble blearily through the living room to the kitchen at sunrise, you know? Pretty soon, you start looking for clever ways to get a couch. Your uncle Bernie can put wood together, if you can find some... and you have a buddy from work that can probably haul lumber? And, I guess if your cat sheds enough you can upholster in cat hair? That won't work. Let's not do that. I went through all these stages - and more - before landing on Monarch Sofas. Turns out they have a factory downtown, and they're willing to custom-make, like, any couch you damn well please. The couch will absolutely fit your apartment, house, or psychadelic-themed VW bus. And while you're paying more than you'd pay for Wayfair garbageboard couches, you're paying less than if you went to a furniture dealer - so the quality-per-price ratio is pretty legitimate. In a sense, Monarch is like going to the farm to pick out your couch, which is how you get those pesticide-free, free range couches. You know, from the couch farm. You'll walk in, and there'll probably be three or four other couples or groups milling about. There'll be one impeccably dressed gentleman calmly juggling like sixty tasks at once - so fair warning, you might have to wait a little. But that's fine, because there's going to come a point where you're gonna want HIM to wait while you make up YOUR mind about something. And you're buying a couch, not getting gas, so sit down and chill for a bit. There's an abundance of seating. At first, you'll bounce around the showroom, and your heart will sink a little, like it did in every other furniture shop: 'if I could only get this upholstery from THIS couch with THIS style cushion on THIS frame over HERE, but these legs are the wrong color.' And that sharply dressed attendant will drop by, and you'll mention this to him, and he'll say "no problem." "No problem." So you draw out the couch, and you start selecting features like you're buying a car - and you'll see the price up front, and you'll say 'well, maybe not THAT feature,' and the price will drop a bit, and you'll go back and forth, and yadda yadda yadda. Not once during any of my experience did I feel like anything was being pushed on me, and I'm pretty darn happy with the couch I wound up with. When you get that itemized bill, make sure to check it over - because, if you're anything like me, you probably went back and forth quite a bit. Some notes might have gotten a little garbled, and your order might look a little funny - but if you review it before you sign it (and why wouldn't you?), you'll catch any silliness. It's worth mentioning again that 'chill out' advice. This attendant has a lot of people to cover and a lot of orders to draw up - so if you drop a question it takes a day or so via email to get back to you, let it. They always get back to you, and they always read the question thoroughly (and in this day-and-age of people blasting off an email response after only reading the first line, that's a real bonus), and your couch is already gonna take four-to-six weeks to build, so what's another couple days or so? I love the couch I got from here, and I had a good time designing it. Now, it hasn't had any damage yet, so who knows? Maybe something will break and I'll have some nightmare getting it repaired... but judging by the other reviews, and by the experience I wound up having, and by Monarch's reputation, I don't think that'll be the case. read more

For the last two months I've been trying to order a custom couch from Monarch. From just that experience I've opted to not use them because of how many mishaps/lack of customer service they provided. Made me lose all confidence that they would deliver the couch I wanted. More details below: 1. I started with the Orange County office whom got back to me right away with a quote. I was order from another state so we had to deal back and forth via email or phone calls. He first sent along samples and send the wrong fabric type I wanted. After trying to call and email to get the correct fabric samples sent I hadn't heard back in weeks which prompted me to contact the Los Angeles based office. 2. I started working with the LA office whom was quicker to respond and got me the samples I wanted. Unfortunately they only send 6 samples at a time so you really have to be specific in what you're looking for. The samples took another week and a half to get delivered. Once I got the samples I was ready to order the couch. I went through the whole process with the LA office and was ready to pay. I'm in the middle of moving so I was trying to rush this so we didn't have to be without a couch for a long period of time. Well I get an email the next day telling me that the fabric I selected was discontinued (so why send it in the first place?) they offered to send new fabric swatches to me. Now because we're in between homes I had asked if they could rush deliver swatches because I would be switching homes. I gave the new address and they stated they would have it fedexed. 3. I just got a call from fedex at my Chicago home so they delivered the new swatches to the WRONG address after I explicitly stated that they need to send to one provided in an email. The back and forth was a pain in the ass. I think this company makes sense if you're in the LA area and can physically see samples. Otherwise, the back and forth made no sense and just added time when I could have already had something picked out elsewhere. Tip for Monarch Sofas: I stated that I would pay extra to have more samples sent at one time and you ignored my request. I'm sure you'd get more business if you satisfied this request because six samples just isn't enough and waiting for a week each time to get them on top of your timeline is rough. A phone consult would also be nice to go through pricing and want the customer wants. I had a number of questions be sent via email that went lost or ignored completely and half the time you didn't listen to my wants and would send the wrong thing. Great price point and options. Wish I could have made this work as we needed a good custom company to use for a couple of properties but I don't have the patience to deal with a lack of basic listening skills. read more

They were quick with a quote and did a great job of hand-holding me through the process. I made the mistake of mis-measuring my sofa, so the final didn't fit into my front entry. Instead of making a big deal about it, they simply cut it down for a minimal fee. We are very angry with Monarch Sofa. On January 29, 2013, We ordered a sofa and 2 chairs with a $1,700 deposit on the $3,500 order. When the initial delivery was made on or about February 22, 2013, the three pieces were rejected due to dings, stains, mars and production faults. Monarch Sofa made promises that our concerns would be addressed and that our satisfaction was important to them. At no time did Monarch claim we were being unreasonable in our requests for repairs. The second delivery was made on or about March 9, 2013. The sofa had a chip out of the front leg and the cushions were not properly sized for the sofa. The two chairs were left on the truck and never seen and inspected by us. Several calls to Monarch have not resulted in our satisfaction and so we have decided to cancel the order for non-performance. We are requesting that the Citi bank purchase protection be applied and that we be credited the $1,700.00 deposit payment. I notified Monarch by mail that I was contesting the charge with Citi Bank, but there has not been a call from them for weeks. read more

We got our couch back in March and love it! Luke was really helpful with helping us with all our questions and never pressured us. We got a slate grey sectional that is so comfortable and well made - it's a dream! If you have cats, go for the higher grade velvet fabric; my cats have no interest in scratching it and it also cleans up nicely. One thing I would advise is to really check the measurements you choose when customizing your couch to make sure it's going to work for your space and your height. We love our couch! read more

Pay the couple extra hundred and get the real thing! That's what I should have done. I previously had a sofa made in the likeness of a popular retail model at another custom sofa place. They nailed it. I happily lived with it for 5 years. Sofacraft claimed to offer the same experience and I placed an order for a similar model that I had before. When it arrived, the length was shorter than I specified, and the cushions were flat and structured unlike the overstuffed look of the model I was looking to emulate. After sitting on them for a week, they are even flatter! Overall, the proportion of the sofa is completely off. Sofacraft is now trying to fix the cushions but I'm having difficulty in getting them to tell me exactly what they plan to do and how long it will take to do it. Because they had me return them, I have a feeling that they're simply going to try to restuff the existing ones instead of remaking them to achieve the proper result. If you offer do copy something, then that's what you deliver on. The dimensions are available to get the exact results. How did they get it so wrong?!!? I don't recommend this place. read more

We ordered a sofa from Monarch which copies a Crate & Barrel style. (They make no bones about the prototype.) Monarch was faster, offered many, many more fabric options, and produced the sofa faster than C&B did/could. The finished product is perfectly nice -- as good as we would have expected from Crate. I like C&B but didn't like the high price they assess for the (non-standard)fabric choices we liked. It made an expensive sofa, uhh, too expensive. Monarch did a good job, handled the transaction personally and professionally (TY, Steve), and did a really fine job. read more

We live in Florida now, and they happily sent me fabric samples without charge 3 times until I was able to choose a fabric I loved. They also helped me design the perfect sectional for our space. After searching through numerous local furniture stores and not being happy with their styles, I was happy to have a furniture store that sold so many wonderful designs I could hardly choose which one I loved best. I have 5 children and our sectional still looks new. The fabric is wonderful. The comfort of the sofa is amazing. Our gripe is not with the sales side, which was very nice, or the manufacturing side, only two springs have broken in the first year (ok so maybe a little on the manufacturing side) but rather on the upsell side. We were shown a waterproofing demonstration in the showroom that included a glass of water and a piece of paper, we've all seen it. Dunk the paper in the water, and the half that was treated is still dry, the other half falls apart. Great, we are sold, and it comes with a 10 year warranty! Fast forward (let's not mention that the treatment IS NOT a waterproofing as was demonstrated) and we now have soiled seat covers after 8 months of living with the couch (jealous dog vs new baby = soiled covers). So the warranty contractor came out and said "yes we can replace these for free, it's covered under the warranty". Here's were it continues to get worse, it takes us 6 months of back and forth waiting for our replacements, all the while living with soiled covers wrapped up in a slipcover, and we finally find out we have to send in our seat covers at our own expense, along with a return label, in order to process the replacement. Ok that would have saved us months of time if we were told this at the beginning, so frustrating. Also, the customer service member said specifically "Unfortunately, the factory will not accept/ work on covers that are soiled and unclean." Ok, so the warranty which covers soiled covers, cannot be claimed because the factory that makes the warrantied replacements won't work on what they cover. Fantastic. So we can't cash in on the warranty we purchased. Next Gripe (oh yes, It continues.. insert creepy clown saying "I want to play a little game.."), and this is a BUYER BEWARE line - once a warranty claim is made, the warranty is then void and defunct, can no longer be used, in the words from the warranty company, our couch "..will no longer be covered under the protection plan. I randomly found Monarch Sofas during an online search. I was looking for a great sectional sofa and found an awesome picture of exactly the style I was looking for. My husband and I went to the showroom on La Cienega to take a peek. Look there are a lot of people on Yelp who are haters and use Yelp to complain for the sake of complaining because they will never be satisfied with anything ever so when looking over some of the reviews I would take them with a grain of salt and recognize where some of these people live; in areas where people think they are way more than they really are and maybe some of the negative experience were directly due to the way they act and they way the treat people, kind of like karma.. The showroom was simple but had a large selection and a great selection of fabric and material selections. You can get the sofa pretty much anyway you want so, if like some of these hater on here want a more dense cushion then you can get them as thick as you want.. The rep Luke was very nice and helpful and provided us great service and took the time to explain everything to us. We ordered the sofa mid February and received it in a month, which was actually ahead of the set expectation. The sofa turned out great!! It is well made, very sturdy and exhibits good craftsmanship, we spent 3200 and felt we got a quality sofa for that price way better than a mass produced sofa like you would get at Ashley or Living Spaces; we did look at those and this is way better quality.. This place has been business owned by the same family for 3 generations which is what about 40 to 60 years?? Furniture places come and go like the wind so for a place to be in business for that long they have to do things more right than wrong and have more satisfaction than dissatisfaction.. Plus this was 100% American made so you support American jobs and small local business by buying from them.. We are extremely pleased by our purchase and highly.. Please look at both positive and negative reviews before deciding on Monarch Sofa (formerly Sofa Craft). I would never recommend them to anyone, but I'm happy for the people who were able to get a sofa without being ripped off. Whether you're spending $500 or $6,000 on a sofa, I wouldn't get it from them. If you're on a budget go to Ikea, if you can afford the real-deal go to Restoration Hardward etc. I could go on and on about how terrible they were but I'll try and keep it concise. Like others have said, Luke and similar employees are great in the store. BUT, after the sale is done, good luck with dealing with everyone at the 'corporate' office in OC. I bought a sofa that started severly peeling after 3 months of having it. Full disclosure, it was a vinyl fabric that felt and looked like leeather. Being vegetarian, we tried to go with a friendly option. We went with vinyl over leather because they specifically recommend it; being in LA they said it was very common for them to have vegan/vegetarian clients choose this vinyl alternative. We purchased the extended warranty and they stuck to their guns that we used harsh cleaner to make the sofa start peeling like crazy. They were openly trying to find a way to put us at fault (which they couldn't do). Since I was already stuck with a couch I hated, I got it recovered in top-grain italian leather. I'm no leather expert but I know what top-grain leather looks like, feels like, and smells like. The "top-grain" leather they recovered it in is awful. I'm certain it's not actual top-grain, and even if it is, its low quality. Like another review stated, you'll only save a few hundred dollars for the name brand sofa you're looking for. I bought the extended warranty on the inner cushions and less than 2 years into their life, half of the couch needs to be replaced. They have such horrible customer service and such long turn-around times, I'd rather pay someone else to have them replaced. I left out a handful of details, because it would be too long, but honestly, they are terrible (the corporate office and actual sofa quality). Best of luck if you choose them. read more

My custom-ordered couch is perfect. It was definitely a different process from that of our last sofa experience, of which we bought directly from a showroom floor. There are so many options! I experienced only a few hiccups from the production end (due to a back-ordered fabric that I chose), but the end result was fantastic. My new sofa fits perfectly in my living room and the delivery was prompt. The quality is even better than I expected, and I'm so glad that I had Jennifer to help me deal with the process. We ordered a sectional, got premium fabric, upgraded the cushions to firm, bought the stain guard and insurance and delivery. It took longer than expected, 8 weeks, but they informed us that the fabric wouldn't be available and that we could pick another fabric. We decided to wait. Most of the good fabrics would be a wait and the fabrics they had in stock were pretty average quality and color. It was 2700 total. The couch arrived, it was a beast. We unscrewed the legs to lower it and then it was okay. The couch has held up pretty well to 2 years of constant use. We originally go the cushions tufted. Bad idea. With 2 dogs and constant house guests, the cushions got dirty fast and the buttons were just uncomfortable. We popped off the buttons and washed all the covers and its back in pretty good condition. The insurance is a sham, the tufting was a bad idea on my part, but overall, I'm pretty happy with it. It easily sleeps 2 adults with room for 2 dogs. The stain guard didn't really protect against stains as I hoped, but with yearly washings, it should be okay. The customer serve was excellent, but then again, we didn't really have any issues with couch. There is some light sinking where we sit regularly, but that is to be expected. Even my tempurpedic mattress slumps and that's not supposed to happen. I like the couch even though I paid for things that were pretty much useless. read more

This was a great experience. I really like my sofa and they were able to create a uniquely shaped sectional at my request. Jennifer was very patient and helpful. Yeah- I get it. Someone like me that walks into your showroom for the first time wouldn't just buy a sofa. WRONG. I ended up ordering one of the sofa's that i fell in love with here and the customer service sucks. It was empty. 3 people were working. They were probably on FB commenting on someone's status or something wack. But i had to seriously wave my hand for service. My sofa is great. I love it. Very chic. My fears came true. Spent $2000 on a sectional, that was not what I ordered. They did not put the legs in the right place, and basically exhibited very poor craftsmanship! My sofa has lumps in areas of the frame where they ran out of foam or whatever they use for the non-cushion parts. Also they added straps to my cushions so they would stay in place, BUT they did not add them to the sofa body. So the straps are completely dysfunctional and useless. When i called to complain about the legs, and the straps, the sales woman Jennifer told me that I could just reinstall the legs my self with a drill! and if i didn't want to do it myself that she would send over the delivery boy to drill new and additional holes into my brand new couch. So, I then denied that option and they then offered to pick up my brand new couch and repair it at no cost, but I will have to wait 2-3 weeks for this repair. (Note: the delivery vehicle is an old pickup truck, without any type of covering. When my couch arrived it was hanging over the side of the truck and out of the bed.) I already waited five weeks to get it, and now they want me to wait another 3!?! ALSO, when I called to ask about the legs and express my disappointment, Jennifer the sales woman did not apologize once, she expressed no concern for the companies mistakes, and my new sofa not being what I ordered. This is the same woman that I sat in the showroom with going over the leg styles and color swatches, etc.. for more than an hour, and after figuring it all out, and being satisfied with my purchase and her comforting me that everything was going to be amazing and not to worry. THE couch that arrived was flawed and not the custom couch that I ordered. The reality is, maybe $2000 is just not that much to some of the customers that they deal with, but to me, its a lot of money. And when I spend that type of money I expect what I asked for and good quality. The complete premise behind a custom sofa is to have it made to your specifications; which in my case it was not. Furthermore, the lumps and other imperfections just express poor management, workmanship, poor work ethic and quality control. THIS company I will never use again, and will definitely tell my friends and family to avoid! read more

I've ordered 2 custom couches from this place and I am in love! I made an oversized snuggle chaise that is so amazing and a regular couch. The prices are super reasonable and they have a mini showroom by La Cienega park where you can pick fabric. It takes 6 weeks to get your pieces but its worth the wait! read more

Update from a couple years ago: Everything is getting pretty saggy. My streamlined-like cushions have turned into big mushy things that fall over and don't hold their place. Less modern, and more 1980's. Such a bummer... will be replacing them as soon as I can and not returning to Sofa Craft. read more

We first heard about Monarch Sofas from friends of ours who had a sofa we thought was incredible. I found out about this store from a friend. I needed custom size sofas so I decided to check them out. The staff was very helpful in picking the material and providing me with durability of each type of fabric. Initially I placed an order for one sofa and one armchair, after reviving them I was so happy with them that I placed an order for another armchair and a bench. I've had these pieces for 4 years and use them everyday and couldn't have been more happy. Their durable, the cushion are still in great shape. I recommend this store to everyone.
