We hired this staging company for a professional real estate staging project after clearly communicating the aesthetic and quality we were looking for (modern/Bauhaus-inspired). Unfortunately, the furniture delivered was not at all what was promised. Several pieces arrived stained, damaged, worn out, and not suitable for a luxury listing presentation. We immediately raised our concerns upon delivery and asked for the items to be removed because the overall look and condition did not reflect what was discussed or marketed to us. Despite this, we were still charged a non-refundable fee, even though the issue was the quality and condition of the furniture provided -- not simply a change of mind. As a real estate company that stages properties regularly, professionalism and presentation are extremely important to us. We were willing to continue working with them if acceptable replacement furniture had been available, but that option was not offered. Very disappointing experience overall. read more

Major update: the plumbers they used never capped an old copper pipe underneath the kitchen. It's been leaking under our house since we moved in. Major foundational issues...complete neglect. Staged And Sold showed up & went above and beyond five years ago by staging a home for us which went into escrow after only a few days on market. The staging made this house feel like a home and allowed those coming in to visualize their lives in it. They executed the experience we were looking for in the furniture and decor inside the home, in the yard, the ADU and the front porch. "Shockingly disappointing" is how I would describe Victoria's staging, communication, and the whole experience. TL;DR - the staging was so bad that we decided to end the service right away and that we would be better off selling the house unstaged. We were referred to Staged & Sold to get my townhouse staged. My realtor and I both thought it would be an easy one since it's a new property with simple, modern designs. The walkthrough before staging was awkwardly quiet - there was no introduction and when asked about pricing and her thoughts on the style, Victoria just said she would send over the quote later. The night before the house was staged, I finally got the contract and some sample photos, and got really concerned as all the photos look like they were taken at a cheap motel. When asked about her plans again for my home, she said it would be modern. When my fiancé and I entered the home after it was staged, we were both speechless and shocked... finally when we saw the master bedroom, we both decided even if she kept all the $ we paid for we must get everything out. Otherwise, no one would want to buy our home. Our realtor agreed that with this kind of staging, we'd rather sell the home unstaged. Anyways, we asked Victoria to take out everything and end the service within 12 hours and got back 80% of what we paid for for a 3-month staging. read more

Wow. I really don't know where I should start with this review. I do believe the staging helped sell my house, but any staging company can do that. This company was awful. They came and staged my newly remodeled and vacant house after it was professionally cleaned. They proceeded to use the bathroom and pee on the toilet seat and floor. They also scuffed up the brand new wood floors and got black marks on the white carpet. The furniture was filthy- causing black marks on the carpet and had no pads under it- scuffing up wood floors where they dragged it. I had to clean fingerprints and liquid marks on all the glass table tops. They came back to clean the carpet and smeared it into grey blobs. I had to then go back and clean it repeatedly over 3 days until you couldn't see the spots. When trying to get a house on the market, that is stressful and an unnecessary hassle. We sold the house and when they were called to remove the furniture we said 1- do not use the bathroom, and 2- wear booties. They called and asked to come 4 hours early. Neither myself nor my relator could be there, so my elderly mom said she would go over to open the door and supervise. When she got there she asked them what the plan was for the carpet. They didn't have booties, but said they were going to wear socks inside and then put their shoes on when going out. My mom walked back to the car to grab her phone and got back and noticed the toilet seat up and pee on the seat. The guys tried to deny doing it despite the fact no one lives there and it had been cleaned the night before. Then the guys were walking on the garage floor with their socks, then going back to the white carpet rooms. My mom asked them to stop doing that and to take the stuff out of the bedrooms (where the carpet is) and just leave it on the wood floor areas so they weren't going on the carpet with dirty feet. The guy told her no and said "don't tell me how to do my fucking job." Wow! Yelling obscenities at an elderly lady asking you to do what you said the plan was in the first place. She was also told "we are just trying to get out of here quickly" to which she said I don't care about quickly I care about you not ruining the floors. Anyway, more black spots on the carpet and scuffs on wood floor. They again "cleaned" the carpet into grey blobs. They also left holes in the wall from pictures they put up- didn't paint/patch. I had wrongly assumed they would have used the sticky hangers. No one asked me if it was ok to put nails in newly painted walls! One more thing I now have to deal with. I would absolutely not recommend this company- the have lazy and rude workers, dirty furniture and don't do what they say they will... like not using the bathroom and wearing booties on the carpet. And to the company- At the very least I'd fire pink shirt guy. I'm the one who paid the bill, yet I have never received even an apology for the time/money/stress they caused me at an already stressful time. read more

I have used Victoria's company many times. She is always very accommodating when it comes to your staging needs. Many of my requests had been last minute or rushed. Stage and Sold always came through for me. I have had very specific requests on my properties in the past. Without saying no, she will do her magic to make the area looks its best. The staging team is very careful with the walls and floors not to scratch or destroy anything. They have a great eye for design and very nice to deal with. There is a distinct difference between before and after the staging in a property. Many people are able to see the property's full potential after staging. I'm so glad that Victoria was the first to respond to my yelp quote request. I sent out many requests early on a Saturday morning and Victoria, the owner, called me back fairly quick. We had open house scheduled the next day and needed help asap. Other companies that responded wouldn't help until Monday.
