I have been going to Mona's for about a year and I love her. I had only allowed Mona to thread my brows until the last time. I'm not sure of her name but she was very tough and it was the worse pain I have ever felt since I started to get my brows threaded. I hated it since it was probably my last time going here since I don't work in the area anymore. Besides the last trip, I really like the shop. Mona is very personable and understands good customer service. The price is the best one I have seen in the Atlanta area ($6) and they have a good bundle. Great experience! I went a few months ago with my friend to get my eyebrows threaded for prom because she loves the place. I had never gotten my eyebrows done before and I was so afraid they were gonna take off half my brows!!! But the lady was nice and I told her I didn't want a lot of shaping, just a clean up and she did AMAZING! I was so happy with the results. I get my eyebrows done here and have been for a little over a year now. Overall, they do really great work. It's fast. It's friendly. It's clean. It's affordable. They offer a pay up front special where you can buy a 3 eyebrow pass for $15 and around Christmas time 6 for like $25. There is; however, 1 lady who ALWAYS cuts my skin when threading and for that reason I cannot give them 5 stars. I keep forgetting her name so I don't realize until it happens. I've got to do better with that. I also felt like better customer service could have been extended the very first time it happened as well. That was very disappointing. I love Mona's! They are skilled at eyebrow threading, well I've only had one lady take too much off in my time going here. Threading can be painful, but they are as gentle as can be, and endure your brows look great when you get out the chair. This is a great no- frills threading salon by the Red Lobster on Cobb Parkway. The two ladies worked quickly. Good shaping. They finish you off with witch hazel. Price was $6 but you can get three for $15. I'll def pop by when I'm at the mall or visiting G friends in Smyrna. read more

This place was quick and inexpensive. I needed to get my brows thredded. I was on a quick time budget and they got me in and out in less than 10 minutes. They had multiple people working. I have been going to monas since she was in Cumberland mall, she is good and her staff is even better, the only issue I have is due to the covid-19 she should be communicating to her clients . I have called numerous of times and no return call, poor customer service.. all I'm asking is you send an end ok or something to all your clients stating when you will open now that governor kemp had opened everything. Not responding to voicemails or messages is not good and it took me this long to post this message thinking you would respond . I have been going to Mona for years! She is excellent and she the only person I would let do my threading. She is very professional and such a sweet person. She makes you feel special at her shop and she has great customer service. Her prices are great and the services are fascistic! Just called this place and the lady who answers the phone is RUDE!! She talked over me the entire time, and then she hung up on me before I was even done talking! I called her back to ask how much their services were since I didn't get to ask her that before she hung up on me and again she spoke over me. Then I proceeded to tell her that in the future she shouldn't talk over people and that hanging up on someone in the middle of a conversation is very rude and she just laughed. I wasn't arguing with her, wasn't being confrontational AT ALL, was merely trying to get information about when Mona works, explain what I was wanting and find out how much it would cost. Whoever this lady is has ZERO customer service skills and should not be allowed to answer the phone. Really really sucks because this place is close to me and I would have come here once a month to get services done, but thanks to your rude staff, you just lost yourself a monthly customer. read more

Definitely skip this place. I had bought a Groupon for 6 eyebrow threading sessions but was only given 4. I went in this past time and was told I had used all of my sessions, which was definitely not the case since I kept track. Either someone there has bad record keeping skills or they are trying to scam you. I have let Groupon know and they are looking into it, but that is really not a good sign since they do a ton of package session deals. For the actual services they were ok, nothing stellar. I had to keep telling the girl everytime to get the stray eyebrow hairs that she clearly missed consistently. I came to get a henna tattoo on my hand. The girl did a horrible job, lines weren't straight. Looks like a child drew on my hand. Before she started I asked for photos of work she had done, an older woman showed me some from her phone and they told me to pull up a design from google of what I wanted so I did. Horrible! My girlfriend came with me and wanted a feather, the girl said she could do it... and basically free styled something that wasn't remotely close to a feather. My friend said this isn't a feather, I wanted a feather. The girl replied, but you like this better? Ugh NO! I'm not sure how their threading, waxing and eyelashes are...henna tattoos don't waste your time. You can probably draw better yourself. read more

The service was good however I was not pleased with my eyebrows. They were far too thin for my taste. There was no pain with the service but I don't feel my eyebrows are even. The price was good for eyebrows and lip, which totaled $9. If I go back I will have to wait at least a month so my eyebrows can grow back to the way I like them. read more

I agree with Karenita B. - getting your eyebrows threaded should not hurt! It usually doesn't hurt at Mona's, but it can be hit or miss. The price makes up for any discomfort I've experienced, however, with a package of three lip/brow combos costing only $24. read more

I found my new brow place! I was a little nervous coming here for the first time. I'm very picky about my brows. Mona did an amazing job on my eyebrows. She was gentle and precise with her threading technique. No touch ups needed. My brows are on fleek, lol. They are offering a 3 for $15 discount card for threading that doesn't expire. I love this place! I live in Lawrenceville, which is 45 mins away on a good traffic day and every time I'm in Smyrna I have to stop by. Their service is awesome and their price point is great! Ive gone to Mona's before to get a wax and it was the WORST experience in my life. Not only did the girl not know what she was doing, she left wax on me and went to check the door because it dinged and we were the only ones there. I was supposed to be the last appointment so locking the door made more sense, rather than allow hot wax to COOL on my ............ as I'm getting an extreme Brazilian. The owner did rectify the situation at a different location, so that is the only reason I attempted to give them another try. Well.... I watched as several women got out of there seats with their brows done. They all looked nice so I sat with my fingers crossed. I normally go to Images by the way but the person I normally see has been swamped or not thee when I was able to come. So i gave Mona's another go. KIM did my brows, After I informed her she left a space on my brows from taking too much hair she proceeded to get in my face telling me that they looked the same on both sides thats how they grow. Lets talk about this....l wake up with this face and these brows every single day. I DO NOT HAVE A HUGE SPACE OF MISSING HAIR in the middle on my right side. what I do have on my LEFT END is thin hair due to an eyebrow piercing 10 yrs ago. She attempted to argue quietly mind you, that she was right and I didn't know what I was talking about. KIM is TERRIBLE. THE WORST Ive gone to ever. Ive been to the spots in the mall and they aren't to great either, but Id let one of them do it before I ever allow Kim to butcher my brows again. I went in to Mon'as on Friday to get hennas on both of my hands. At the time, I thought that the tattoos looked good but after it dried and the paste peeled off, I realized just how sloppy the work was. It was messy, careless, and it just looked awful up close. She charged me 45 dollars for hennas that started fading the next day. It is now Wednesday, and both of my hennas have almost faded completely. Not worth it at all for henna! read more

Tried this place with a Groupon and so glad I did. These sweet ladies took me right away, which was especially nice after sitting in traffic for almost 1 hour before getting there!
