This was our first visit to Mondo's. it was on a Saturday and looked very busy. But our party of 3 was seated within 2 minutes! We first were asked if we wanted coffee, and since all of us wanted coffee, the waitress offered the French press of coffee which was very good and a good bargain. We all loved our breakfast. I opted for the lemon poppyseed pancakes rather than the plain buttermilk which was a very good choice. They cost a dollar more, but I would do it again, cause they were super good. My Mother- in-Law asked for some hot water to make the coffee a little less strong and they obliged immediately. My hubby and I love good coffee and didn't feel it was too strong. The place was comfortable enough as long as I didn't have to sit on one of the booths. I think it was made for children or short people, because when I tried to sit there, it made the table way too low. I would go back again and again, it is one if Chico's best for breakfast. I think the food and drinks are great. My favorite is the bagel sandwhich and I always make sure that Zoe makes it!! (Hands down best employee) She always makes my drinks and food exactly to my expectations and beyond! However I am sad to say I don't see her much anymore and so I don't go into the store as often. I would love to see her in the shop so I can enjoy some of the incredible food she makes. Thank you Mondos for your great staff and service, I always leave with a smile. read more

The black coffee is amazing.. I have yet to try their food but my first impression with the coffee is love at first sip.

Food was decent. They had a new guy cooking in the back and the avocado wasn't all the way ripe and sandwich was decent, not super good, not super bad. This place is average but could be great if they remodeled had slightly better service and a superb cook. read more

This coffee shop has by far the best coffee in town. The owner is down-to-earth and personable, and loves to share his knowledge of coffee with customers. After trying to difference between regular brewed coffee and "pour-over" coffee I have never gone back to brewed when I make it at home. The owner was more than eager to explain how he does it so I could replicate the process. I haven't been in their new place, but the only thing I felt could be improved at the old location was the decorations and maybe some more comfy chairs. I haven't had any of their espresso drinks but any time I'm on that side of town I stop in for a cup of their brewed coffee. It is rich and dark and not watery like some places. I also love the new store. I liked the old store and the laid back atmosphere for hanging out but the new store is just as good and still very relaxing. My favorite thing about this place is the relaxed atmosphere. It's a fantastic place to meet someone for coffee, or a nice quiet space if you need to think and get some work done. They brew some of the better coffee in town, too. Try some of their more unusual items (Mexican mochas have a nice bit of spice added in, for example). Their bagel sandwiches are absolutely to die for. When I lived closer, they used to be a weekend ritual for me and a friend. My only gripe with the place is that their staffing is a bit inconsistent. If you get the main crew in the morning, things are usually spot on. If you get the B-team, be ready for a longer wait and a few screw-ups now and then. I really like their current location, but I think they're moving to another slot in the same strip, sometime soon. Feeling a little nervous about that. read more

I lived down the street from this place for a while and I've never been in. I decided to give it a try after reading some reviews and I was pleasantly surprised. The caramel espresso I got was awesome! However the medium was much too small for the price. If it was comparable to Dutch bros I would probably be a regular. read more

Best breakfast sandwiches I've EVER HAD at a coffee shop. The drinks are always on point and the service is wonderful. It's nice to see a smile in the morning by someone who actually looks you in the eyes. The owner is friendly and mingles with all of the guests virtually every day. Good food, takes a little bit to make. Sustainable conscious coffee and good tasting roasts. My only complaint is that the coffee is consistently thin/watery. It should take more than 2 teaspoons of creamer to make a large cup of coffee very light brown. read more

Love mondos. Always great coffee and they make an effort to get their sandwiches and bagels exactly right. One of the few places that can toast a bagel the way I like it. Wasn't very impressed by any part of Mondos Cafe. I gave it two stars because they did have coffee. On the other hand the food was greasy and not prepared well. The owner was in at the time and was a pretentious hipster wanna be type, But the girl making the coffee was very nice. Overall i would never go back if i had a choice. read more

Whenever I get a bagel I think of mondos. They also have great energy bars up front. I live off of the bars during lent. I also love the mondos blend coffee. I live right next to this place and go there all the time. The Mondos morning sandwiches are amazing! There coffee is much better than Starbucks. Although the food may take a little bit to make especially when it is crowded, it is worth sitting down and waiting. The atmosphere is very relaxed and all the employees are really nice.
