We ate food was good come to eat out Chinese cookies laughing having good time waitress keeps circling our table like a hawk I am like wtf really. I am also eating ice cream as I put a scope in my mouth she is like you pay now. I am like b I am still eating like seriously wtf at this point we been there only 45 min . So I was put on the spot not prepared everyone looking at me so I grab wrong card she comes back it was declined yes cause I don't really use that card but they are both the same color. Went here on a recommendation from a friend. It took us a while (approx 5 min) to be seated. They were not that busy. The buffet had a nice selection for Asian and American foods. The food was good. Went there for Lunch , mainly for the crab legs. When we got there (at 11:45) the crab leg tray was empty. About 25 minutes later they refilled it. These crab legs were the absolute worst crab legs I have ever tasted. They were tasteless and seemed to be very old. They tasted like that were boiled in 3 week old water that wasn't seasoned with salt or anything. On a positive note, the rest of the food wasn't bad. It was actually pretty good. read more

The lunch special is $7.99 and well worth it when you get there early! Everything is stocked, filled and most importantly, fresh. Tonight was my first time coming here for a Sunday dinner. Arrived right before 8, well over 2 hours before closing. Almost everything was out and we sat there waiting for any refills. Most things were luke warm and I chose to just use the hibachi station and fresh salad station until enough people complained to have the crab station (it's main attraction) refilled- at 9:30PM. We decided to eat a few before leaving to make up for the $16.79 (tax) and $19.55 (with soda) we spent on the food. Disappointed at how we watched the staff tell us and others more refills are coming in hopes of deterring us from waiting. This place gets a solid 4. Been here twice already and the first time I came here was a 3, but the second time i came here gets a low 5, so Ill rate it somewhere in the middle. The second time got a higher rating because the sushi chef was putting put a lot of tamago and also lots of Maguro Red tuna instead of that white tuna stuff that everyone else passes at "Tuna". The food looked fresher the second time around also. They had this big prime rib that you cut your part and had the guy at the grill cook it. They also had this great tasting Pork lion that was VERY good. I couldn't stop eating it, it was so flavorful. They also have the usual chicken items. Bbq chicken, general tso, teriyaki chicken. Their teriyaki chicken tasted old and i only had like two bites and I couldn't eat it anymore. My favorite food I love every time coming to buffets is the Coconut shrimp. I don't know what they put in it but that dish i cannot get enough next to sushi. They also have bacon wrapped shrimp. Those are always good. Pretty much sushi, any only big meat products, coconut shrimp, & maybe some chicken items are my favorite. Couple things they could improve on was the baked deserts. The baked deserts seem to be lacking. I had a few items, but nothing really great that stood out. Second was refilling the crab legs. I don't eat any crab legs, but the refill times on those were really slow epically compared to other items that were out. We went there to eat because we just wanted to sit somewhere and eat while we were in the area. All was well until we were signing the check and heading out. No tip was added because the food was iffy, the lady picks up the check and proceeds to say "no tip" and circled where the tip would go. My mom proceeded to say no thank you and started walking to the door, mind you we were sat farther away from the door, the lady then FOLLOWED my mom to the door saying "no tip!" while slapping the check on the clipboard. The best thing about this restaurant is its price. I went with a group of 13 people on a saturday night and it was $12.99 for an all-you-can eat dinner! Considering the price, the taste and quality of the food was compromised (especially the sushi) BUT they did have a great variety of meat, seafood, vegetables, and the basic staples of a decent buffet. They do have shrimp, raw oysters, raw clams, and snow crab legs which made me quite happy! Meat-wise, they had some Mongolian bbq options as well as a hibachi section. I don't eat meat but based on what the rest of my party ate, it didn't seem too bad. I would say the seafood was more popular and tasty though. Dessert - decent selection of cakes but they had a good variety of ice cream! Hands down one of the best experiences I have had at a restaurant. Staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. We went in at about 9pm, they closed at 9. Staff refused our efforts to speed things up for them (pay bill early, clean up table, etc). And let's be real, it's a buffet an hour before closing, the food has been sitting for a little while, but was still great. Crab legs were on point, general tso's was crispy. Everything tasted hot and fresh. And I cannot say enough about the entire staff. They were a shinning example of excellent customer experience. After many bad reviews I was very leery about eating here. My cousin was having a gathering here for her sons birthday as he requested. So, between a family gathering, mixed reviews, the fact they have been there so long and they survived COVID, I figured; how bad could it be. Besides, everyone has their days. Went there for a dinner buffet on a Friday. Place was very busy, which meant the food was freshly cooked. The selection and flavour left a lot to be desired though. Many options were incorrectly labeled. Fried squid was so chewy it was inedible. Wonton soup has very little flavour. Dumplings are very chewy. Honey chicken was decent, sweet & sour is your standard (nothing exciting there). When I saw the hibachi option I was excited. But after going over and trying to ask the cook some questions, I lost interest. He didn't speak english and couldn't explain any of the options sitting before him. For those who are interested in a quick, filling, and cheap meal, this is the place to go. For dinner ( which includes a selection of seafood choices), it was about $17. Just like your average buffet, there is a wide variation of food - from sweets such as ice cream, jello, cookies, to your savory such as sushi, lo-mein, seafood, etc. One thing you have to remember, many do come for the seafood so it is a fast mover dish. The good thing is, they do refill the dishes that are cleared rather quickly. In regards to the savory dishes, there is a fair amount of carbs and protein dishes. I love the stuffed mussels and seafood. However, all the savory dishes are rather "oily". One thing that did turn me away was the utensils. Often times, you may want to whip it or make sure it is fully clean before using it. This goes for the tongs that you use to grab which ever food you want or the ice cream scooper. For a 12 dollar buffet the food Is alright for the fact that you can't expect much for a 12 dollar buffet. I asked if they had lemonade, in which they said yes, when I returned to the table I actually received an iced tea instead, not much to complain about although it was annoying. Me and my friends are a few plates and the waiter returned and asked if I wanted lemonade again, came back and asked if I had iced tea instead and I finally received lemonade. While we were still obviously eating, the waiter came up with the check which seemed very rude almost asking us to leave. Now if you've never been here before, PAY EXACT CHANGE OR THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY. My bill came out to about 16$ in which I gave the waiter 20$ same with my friend, neither of us received our change in the few times that we have came here. They did not ask if we wanted the change, they did not ask if the extra cash was a tip, nothing. They just assumed the extra cash was their tip without even asking. Because of this we just simply decided to not leave a tip as they practically stole their tip for themselves anyway. Came here on Oscar night despite being burned by Chinese buffets in the past because I was worried the movie I hate was going to win and wanted to soothe the anxiety with an unlimited amount of food. But it was surprisingly great -- lots of options, all reasonably fresh and hot and tasty, when I would have been satisfied with any two of those things. The spicy chicken was spicy, the ginger fish was tender and flavorful, and I know no one goes to these things for the fried food, but they also had mozzarella sticks, which I love and appreciate knowing there's a place I can go to eat an unmoderated amount of fried cheese. Another surprise contender: the roast pork shoulder, which was juicy and fall apart. In conclusion, Mongolian Buffet is a solid, solid buffet choice and How to Train Your Dragon: the Hidden World is a gross movie. read more

Came here to feed a group of six of us and was worth the price. Fed everyone for $84 and none of us left dissatisfied. Typical Chinese buffet fare with some American dishes mixed in. The fruit and salad bar featured several exotic fruits that we gave a try and enjoyed. I went in here with a group of friends, we were very respectful and followed all of their safety protocols for covid. We were stared at for the entirety of our meal. And when leaving was the worst part. All of us were questioned about our signatures after paying, the lady even followed us out of the building asking us if they were our real signatures. No one else there was questioned about their signatures, so we can only assume it's because we were young. If you are high maintenance you might think the service is 2/10.... but I don't really like getting bombarded so I quite enjoyed just enjoying my partner's company. This buffet is a little farther away from our house than other options, so our hungover selves only visited it for the first time this past Saturday. Everything we had was excellent. As another Yelper noted, steam was coming off of the food, which indicated to me that it was very, very fresh. They have a nice little selection of sushi, which tasted very fresh, as well. No. No, no, no. No. I will not be returning to Mongolian Buffet. I was brought here under the pretext of "great Mongolian food". Since my cell phone was having reception issues, I was unable to verify this. Well, thanks a lot, AT&T. Thanks to your network, I got to experience what was one of the saddest Chinese buffets (with a small "Mongolian" grill in the back). Even with the graded curve for Chinese buffets, this one ranks quite low. The selection was small, the food was not flavourful (unless extremely fishy mussels are your thing) and the selection for the "Mongolian" grill were limited. The service was not very existent. Dirty plates sat around for a while. Water glasses ran low. I think it cost us about $13-15 per person for the buffet. To say it was not worth it would be an understatement. Yet, this place was packed to the gills. We had to wait 20 minutes to get a table. (given the abundance of delicious and cheap restaurants in Buffalo, I don't understand this. ) If you are debating Mongolian Buffet, I recommend the Chipotle near by instead. read more

Some might disagree with a 5 star rating, but let me explain why I feel this place deserves it! First of all - there was plenty of parking and I even got a shady spot under a tree. Second, there was no line, which means I didn't have to wait. The list is going to go on and on here. The selection of food was CRAZY and you could see how fresh it was and HOT - there was constant steam coming off the food and the food that was supposed to be cold was COLD! My fiancee and I went last night. It was a waste of money. When we walked in, the manager was slouching over the counter very unprofessionally. He was very rude and hasty when he greeted us, then ushered us to a table where he proceeded to YELL at the server in front of us. The food was ok. For two adults, we paid $35 for two buffets and two soft drinks, plus a $5 tip. We were in & out in about 25 minutes. For the price, this buffet is not worth it. Both times I've been there, it was a VERY noisy environment, very crowded, children running around everywhere, dirty floors, patrons coughing all over the food... Went here last night for the Hibachi. For two people, the buffet and drinks were $33. They had a huge selection of chinese food standard offerings, fresh seafood, sushi, etc. I didn't get to sample the buffet personally but was told that the food was decent. The hibachi had a good selection of meats. I wish there were more choices for vegetables and there were really only 3 sauces available - spicy, teriyaki and "hibachi" - which was very salty and seemed to have a lot of soy sauce in it. They also offered garlic or ginger to add to the sauce for variety.. I was hoping to find a garlic sauce on the bar, but the hibachi sauce was fine. I loaded up a plate of noodles, meat and veggies, and that's all I ate for dinner. It was a good choice and worth the sacrifice of not sampling the buffet too. I've been here several times and I've never had a bad experience. My husband and I have come here for the buffet during lunch and dinner both during the week and weekend. I feel this buffet has a wide variety of food; seafood (clams, oysters, crab legs, fish) meats (chicken, pork, beef), vegetable dishes (string beans, mixed veggies, salads) chinese and american dishes and a wide assortment of sushi, and dessert foods (fruit and traditional sweets). I've been to a lot of bad buffets before, this isn't one of them. The quality is better at this buffet, and the food rolls out relatively quickly. I will and have come here numerous times! This is easily one of my favorite and best buffets around for Chinese/Asian style food. First of all adnd one of my favorite things, is this place has Sushi and it's very good available as part of the buffet. I usually always get between 8-10 pieces and they're very tasty. They've got a nice spread of food for all different tastes and palates, and they have the hibachi make your own bar available as well if you want a custom cooked experience. The staff are friendly and the prices are good although they do up charge on Friday and Saturday nights which I discovered by accident on receiving my bill this past Friday and which was a little annoying but I digress. The food is always very fresh and tasty and they've got a lot of variety from sweet to spicy, saucy to bitter and everything in between. You're sure to find something you like. Call me crazy but patrons don't eat in your establishment u have no business. And if you don't have revenue you can't pay your bills. Somehow these people have managed to stay afloat w less then mediocre food that old cold and rotten. I would think twice before eating here. Everything is fake and just about all is cold. If no one eats something they refuse to remove or discard the old rotten food. Then they wanna charge you full price when my fiance clearly did not eat or enjoy anything she had. They wouldn't clear her plate or mine. I had 2 1 for salad 1 for my food. We were never offered a refill or even a hello much less a thank you. In fact the host looked at me like I was an enemy just for simply saying hello.
