I needed some help with some specialized soldering of some small automotive electronics and after reading the reviews on Moni, I decided to give him a try. Never buy a brand new T.V. before calling and asking if Moni has any T.V.s for sale. Sometimes he has great 4K 65-75 inch top brands for sale. In my opinion, his repaired T.V.s has better value than buying a new one. These corporations sell you a T.V. that are built to last only 4-5 years so you keep buying new. This was the most disappointing experience I've ever had with a TV repair service. My 85" Samsung would not turn on and I called Moni to see if he felt the set could be repaired. He insisted to come by my home to see the TV himself before offering his opinion. I was told the Oxnard service call was $129 but when he arrived and simply tried to turn on the TV with my remote ~ he told me it wasn't going to come on~ what I already knew. Then he charged me $169 and stated the $129 fee quoted was not for an 85" TV. Really? So the size of the TV that won't turn on determines the see call fee? A total rip off and when I decided to buy a new TV from Best Buy ~ Moni didn't have time to help me pick up the new TV and take down the old TV to hang the new TV in its place. He was too busy to help even when I offered to pay him again. He's a phony and charged me based on where I live once he visited my home versus what he quoted on the phone. He does not work on radio anymore, but when I called about a problem I've been having with my late '80s boombox, he diagnosed it quickly over five minuets of conversation. I opened up my boombox, wiggled each connection of the FM radio antenna wire (one end is connected to the bottom end of the telescopic antenna, the other end is connected to a PCB board), and the radio got restored to the normal operation (was un-listenable by static noise and mixed broadcasting signals). After all I did not need to spend any money to get it fixed thank to his free phone consulting: He saved me possible repair cost and travel time to some other repair shop.
