Once you're done, you sit and they will bring it over. There is also a jug of ice water you self serve from. Seating is a little limited, as the restaurant isn't huge, but hasn't been an issue when I have gone. They also can open up the doors/windows which is really cool when it's nice out. The Cuban came on toasted rustic roll, which was crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The pork shoulder and ham were cooked perfectly and had such an amazing flavor. The grain mustard and Swiss cheese really brought everything together though. The chips were nice, salty, and very crunchy. Nothing crazy to write about, but I still enjoyed them. Overall, it's probably one of the best Cubans I've had, but I'm not an expert on them. I've been back a second time and it was just as good as the first!

gawd dam!!!!! it had been 3 yrs. since I last had monkey subs. They come to my work... they set up ... you go, pay and grab your sammy... its a half BUT a generous half a sammy. I get the ham/salami one. I stack my ingredients on top, creating a mountain of freshness on top of the Sammy. I stopped going because I prefer to leave the building for lunch. Today I had the priveldge .. the gift the good fortune to start work at 5:30 AM to be here for something I could have easely completed at home. That said today monkey subs saved me from breaking my computer and perhaps stopped me from breaking my own nose after punching myself in the face for not calling in sick today. My good friend Byron Peblestone.... noticed my hungry unhappy face and asked what I was doing for lunch.. I told him "Monkey subs dont take no debit cards " Byron, offered to spot me 5 bucks. I may just pay him back 10 bucks. The sammy was fresh like a Spring day in a small village in Ireland! the bread .. ahhh the bread !! so good, the perfect softness, subtleness and firmness to hold my salami. .. and ham. The cookie, the bag o chips, the 3 prong mayonnaise dispenser bottle... these things may seem like small details but they are what compose the master piece. After stacking my sammy and getting it all ready I see another acquaintance; his name Esteban Metneeh... comes to the end of the line... says nothing, just points at my friend Byron..... points at him as if to say "you, your the man... my monkey sub brother" The level of comradery I saw between the 2 was a level of unspoken respect for the monkey and its sub. I felt awkward when they were pointing at each other, I wanted to disappear, but then I realized one day I can point at a colleague over the monkey sub sammich counter and that will be an incredible day for me. Monkey Subs is WONDERFUL! Super fresh ingredients, clean, and all around the best. The staff is warm, welcoming, and friendly. Vic, the owner, is personable, welcoming, and very kind. My husband is a huge fan of the Monkey Wrench, it has EVERYTHING on it! I'm big fan of the turkey/bacon/avocado. The bacon is crisp without being burnt, the avocado perfectly ripe, and the cracked pepper ties all the of the flavors together.
