Some of the wine at Mono Market.

Lee Vining is a small town and Mono Market is a great market. It carries a good selection of food items and other supplies. Our cabin is in June Lake and the grocery store there is larger but sometimes I find food items like vegetables looking better at Mono Market. It's convenient when we drive through Lee Vining to shop at Mono Market. There are shops down the street and across the street. The people whom work there are very friendly and courteous. I love the vintage market, it's in the original shape and is clean inside.

Amazing selection of liquor, that you cannot get anywhere else in the surrounding area AND as an added bonus we found our favorite chocolate bar here in the candy section. Great place to stop with items you would never expect this far out

Stopped in here on our way back from a backpacking trip. Just wanted to get a couple of cold beers. Prices were high, but I fully expected that. They had a small selection in the back of singles, along with the others - six packs, 12 packs, and 18 packs. Found a couple of singles, pint size aluminum bottles, and paid the bill. I added it up even with taxes and deposits to be about 3 1/2 to 4 dollars, using the sticker price that was on each can. After getting in the car and driving to a nice location to enjoy a beverage, I started looking at the receipt. For some reason, dude charged me like five bucks! I couldn't figure out why the price was so much higher than the prices that were stuck to the cans. I suppose that's how these little places make their money! Well, I will watch a little closer next time! Fool me once, shame on me! Fool me twice? Well, you know! Live and learn! Are

Reviewing just their in store ice-cream. Great service, good ice-cream flavors and servings for the price!

Two trips in two days and both cashiers were about as friendly as a pet rock. Last night's guy had the shakes. Today's lady only said "would you like your receipt." The self-bagging idea is good. At least you can pack your items as you want. But. Maybe. If there was a courtesy clerk who would do it for you. Elderly couple in front of me did their own cart. Meanwhile, three associates (maybe even a manager) were living their best life near the courtesy desk. During rush hour, staff should be ready to help. Other reviews say every check stand is open. Today. Maybe 50%. Self checkout is usually a good bet, but when the line is turned and backed to past the ice cream aisle, you know it's slow going. At least the store does a great job of living up to "mountain time."

This is a public safety risk. This is no longer meat that should be sold, and should be in the garbage. Then what is the deal with no cases of water? Are cases of water not drank in this town? We needed some fruit, and vegetables. We were able to scrape up some produce. Was not the easiest because things were not getting replenished. Many holes on the shelves. We saw employees having a good time bs'ing. No manager around, Supervisor....not for me...for the employees who are messing around! Place is a hot mess, and in need of health department inspection.

This store is located in the Quarry Village area, which is conveniently located next to a few of the main eateries inside Yosemite, as well as some of the main camping grounds in the park. This store is not as big as some of the other stores in Yosemite Valley so just keep in mind when looking at their selection. I do think this is a good stop for a quick snack, or just some drinks. They do have a souvenir section but frankly is not as great when compared to some of the other stores. Just to give you an idea, this shop had like six hats to choose from, when another store in the valley easily had over fifty hat options to pick from. However, regardless of their variety I do think this store is very convenient and the staff that works here is great. Since the store is pretty small and can feel a little crowded, the staff works really hard to move the line as quickly as possible and get everyone out to their next adventure.

I could tell she was racist but the way she ignored me really concerned me. This is an Aramark employee and they are all about sales. This is the first time visiting the park where I feel so uncomfortable and and unwelcome. This employee looks at me and says "I was finishing up what I'm doing" no eye contact whatsoever. She clearly had an issue with helping me. Honestly she needs a new job. She doesn't deserve to live and work in such a beautiful place with that ugly attitude and unprofessionalism. Was planning on buying a few snacks and merchandise. After over 40 trips to yosemite. This is the first time I refuse to shop here

It has officially become our absolute favorite go-to spot in town. The ambiance is super unassuming and full of character. When you first walk in, it just looks like a small, local Latino grocery store stocked with great specialty ingredients. But as you head towards the back, you discover an absolute powerhouse of a taqueria kitchen. There's a tiny, quaint seating area inside where you can eat, or you can grab it to go. It completely side-steps the typical crowded, pricey resort-town vibe for something authentic and cozy. The food is spectacular. Whether you're getting their street tacos (the al pastor and asada are fire) or a hefty California burrito after a long day outdoors, the meats are perfectly seasoned, juicy, and served piping hot with great salsas. The quality is top-notch and the prices are incredibly fair for Mammoth. If you want a consistent, delicious meal that hits the spot every single time, skip the tourist traps and come straight here!
