Everything was dialed in to a T per what I wanted, and some minor things I didn't understand were explained to me well. I just installed new adjustable front upper control arms on my 2016 GS350 F Sport in order to get back to OE alignment specs after lowering my car on coilovers. They nailed it! Car drives straight and back to OE specs. I couldn't be happier. The tech took his time and dialed it in. I discoverd Monrovia Alignment through Fernanda when I reached out to her about some Sparco accessories. Coincidently my GX470 could use an alignment after several garage projects. Fern was very responsive and set up an appointment for me to come in. When i showed up, David, the owner, greeted me and began to dial in the truck. He took it out for a test drive before and after the alignment and explained everything to me in great detail. I can sense David was meticulous and took pride in his work. He even fixed some of the things that I overlooked when I wrenched on the truck. Throughout the visit, I had no worries as I knew I was in good hands under their care. Should've taken my stock X5 somewhere else. Looks like this place specializes in lowered/modified cars. Work seems to be fine but cost me $180 (+3% fee for using a card?!). So $185 when I could've gotten it done at the dealership for $200. Asked for a discount which was shot down. Asked about warranty and they said no warranty (some alignment places do 1 year). And then to top it off their printer was broken so they couldn't print the specs of the alignment. Pretty subpar experience def wont be coming back. read more

Just installed front and rear camber kits as well as new coilovers on my civic so an alignment was needed. I called and got a quote for an alignment and the front and rear camber kits to be adjusted. Price seemed fair so I made an appointment. Brought the vehicle in at 12:30pm and informed them that the threads (on the chassis) for the rear camber kit also needed to be looked at as it seemed stripped. A few hours later I haven't received a call or an update so I stopped by the shop later that afternoon and found out that the threads have been repaired, but was not informed of the cost nor an approval for the repair. In addition, they recommended to raise the front coilovers a little bit as it was pretty low. I was given a quote and approved the added repair. By the time it was 6pm, I received no updates so this vehicle looks like it was staying overnight. Again, I was not informed. Got a text around 9am the next day with a ride height recommendation for the front coilovers and agreed to it. 12PM got a text to double check my approval regarding the front coilover adjustment. Again, I said yes. 3:26PM rolled around and I texted for updates and to no reply. Looks like this vehicle is staying another day. 10AM the following day (Day 3) I received a call that the vehicle was done. I then proceeded to pick up the vehicle and as soon as I arrived, I was informed that the right rear needed to be raised and that was an additional charge. Another labor that I was not informed of prior to the repair, the cost, nor my approval to do so. On a positive note, David worked on the vehicle and it looked great. Very friendly and took care of the car which I truly appreciated. I was just disappointed at the lack of communication and the surprise charges as this was my first time at Monrovia Alignment. read more

So while I was in the process of changing tires at a 3rd party tire shop, out of the blue my mechanics asked whether I would like to do a 4-wheel alignment for about $80. I immediately declined the offer because I completely didn't expect this additional cost as the result of switching all four tires. Later I did some Yelp search and visited this remote 4-wheel alignment specialty shop. Originally I came here one-hour before the closing time on Sat and the mechanics (I believe that was David - his name is listed on the business card) told me that today was booked and I set a morning appointment the following week. Upon my return visit, I greeted with one of David's assistants and he did the 4-wheel alignment on my car for about $60. Once the alignment work was done, David came and checked the alignment results and I also received a printout of before / after alignment results. I asked about how to read the printout and the assistant said that a 4-wheel alignment typically adjusts toe & thrust and caster & camber adjustments are only needed if you get into a bad accident.
