Another great meal from Monroys. I ordered the Three Little Pigs fries and a two meat breakfast burrito. I haven't tried the fries, but the breakfast burrito is awesome. It was so big that I could only finish half. It is one of the best I have had in town. I commented in a previous post that the beans and rice were bland, but I had a Carne Asada burrito and it was great. Everything was flavorful. Their portions are huge and I am a big eater. read more

I picked up an order of fish and chips for lunch. The fish was freshly made, the staff were friendly, and the service was good. The portion was large enough to share with a coworker and contained about five pieces of fish and plenty of fries. The price felt reasonable for the amount of food. My only real issue was that the fish was quite greasy, even for fried food, though the flavor was okay. The spicy sauce was tasty, and the tartar sauce tasted more like mayonnaise. I'd consider ordering from Monroys again, but probably not the fish and chips next time. read more

I visited based on the Yelp reviews. However, when I arrived no one would take my order. This is a food truck in the massive Flor Decor parking lot. It has a nice seating area under an EZUP. I hung out for a while in front of the window meant for placing an order and after a few minutes, I left. All the stuff was out on the counter as if they were open, so I don't know - maybe they weren't ready for customers and too busy to say so. I was craving a breakfast burrito sooooo bad, but I wanted good salsa with it. A lot of restaurants just give you pico de gallo, but here? Their green salsa was delicious and flavorful. Their red? Spicy but also delicious. I got the chorizo breakfast burrito, 10/10. My husband got the bacon burrito, he said 8/10. We could have definitely shared 1 burrito, they are MASSIVE. Worth it. read more

Been to Monroy's quite too many times. This IS THE SPOT!!! Their food is AMAZING. Best Mexican food I've tasted (second to my mama's). Their hand made mulitas, tortas, burritos, quesabirria, tacos, beans, rice, birria ramen, loaded potatoes, loaded fries, are so good, each is worth a try. Might as well try the whole menu, it is that good. You'll be hooked once you try it. Their service is great, makes you feel like family and they are very kind humble people. The ambiance is good, they have a nice sitting shaded area on the side of their food truck where you can enjoy your meal. You can call in your order and pick it up minutes later or you can order at their food truck and wait in their sitting area. They are pretty quick and if there is a wait time, IT IS WORTH WAITING FOR. My favorite is the birria loaded fries and Al pastor torta. But you really can't go wrong with any item you get from here. One of my friends recommended this taco truck to me and I'm always on the hunt for good Mexican food near work. We ended up following them on Instagram and knew we had to come try it out! The cheese pulls of the food were just amazing looking. . We called in our orders ahead with no issues and came to pick up 15 minutes and paid. Everything was ready to go within a few minutes and there were utensils and other supplies outside. I got the queso taco combo, my friends did taco salad and an empanada. We all really enjoyed our meals. The food is a bit on the pricier side but it's quality and the portions are good. We were not left hungry. The rice and beans were just alright for me, but my quesotacos had a ton of flavor and the salsa options they provided us with in our to go plates were spicy and flavorful. Had the opportunity to try their food out during a toys for tots event. Honestly didn't have high expectations especially with the price being so expensive at first thought. When the food was delivered I immediately was shocked of the amount of food served. I got 2 plain tacos for my daughter but they accidentally put everything on there. They gave those tacos for free and made me new ones. The asada had great flavor and they didn't skimp out on the meat either. Also ordered loaded fries and it was huge! The whole To Go box was filled and had some weight on it. The chicken and pastor also had a ton of flavor and a slight crisp to it which was perfect. Would definitely recommend and be back for more.
