This is review of what Tim started August 2019, installed in Oct 2019, and comments since. Tim (and staff) were great to work with. This was a City of Seattle RainWise installation. A church, with 25,000 square foot footprint. Tim created many detailed mock-ups of designs for our members to review. And gave me addresses to look at other installations. Tim had great subcontractor that installed new gutters, and downspouts, where necessary. Tim sunk one cistern in a hole so that our church sign above it was not visually impeded. He spent time helping me understand how to maintain the system; he later came back for consulting when I had filter or drip outlet issues. He does quality work, and is creative. The system is handling our thunderstorms that Seattle now has more often. Like any gutter system, we still must keep leaves and debris cleared. Thank you Tim. Tim worked with me end-to-end in evaluating my home's eligibility for the Rainwise program. He came onsite to take measurements and present options for a cistern in my backyard. The process was very smooth, requiring virtually no involvement on my part. The cistern captures 200 gallons and great for watering the plants (and now slowing down rain water into the sewers). There's a lot of technical requirements for the rebate program that Monsoon handled and no money left my pocket at any point. The installation crew was very efficient and did a great job at modifying my downspouts. I did inquire on a rain garden for my front yard but wasn't eligible due to the square footage of my roof. Tim was very transparent on his team's workload and suggested I deferred my rain garden planning until a slower time in the season. read more

Monsoon Rain Gardens just installed our cistern and we couldn't be happier. I contacted 3 contractors and Monsoon was by far the easiest and simplest to deal with. Our roof lines and gutters are a bit complicated and they were able to engineer a solution to capture enough rain to qualify for the Rainwise rebate. I was also worried they would have to dig out some plants in order to install the overflow pipe to the rocks but they were able to save them all. They did a great job with the install. We are building a new home and needed a rain garden installed. I called, explained that we needed a bid for a rain garden and they made an appointment for three days later. They called back the next day and cancelled the appointment. When I called them to ask what happened, I was told that they don't know how to do rain gardens for new construction, only for existing homes. I told the woman on the phone the specifications from the city barely fill one sheet of paper and that I didn't understand why they couldn't do the job. She then told me they were too busy right now, or they would do it and that they didn't have the time to review the one page of info from the city.
