This shop really stands out for its customer service. From the moment we walked in, everyone, including Mark, Joe, Bill (and even Mark's daughter on the phone) was warm, helpful, and welcoming. Joe, their mechanic, is incredibly knowledgeable (especially with eBikes). He not only resolved every issue with our kids' bike, but also kindly pointed out a future failure to be aware of. There was zero pressure to make a decision right away, which we appreciated. There was a hiccup in the estimate that caught us off guard, but after a quick phone conversation, we landed on a reasonable compromise and moved forward. We are still deciding whether we'll go along with the suggested repair, but the experience overall was so positive that it's hard to imagine not coming back. read more

In March 2026, we searched several bike shops to find a reliable place to service our son's e‑bike. After reading many positive reviews, we chose Lincoln Cyclery. They offered a variety of services, including a convenient pickup and drop‑off option for a small fee. Reviews also praised their mechanics, so we felt confident leaving the bike in their care. The bike needed two new tires (which we provided), brake service, and a new kickstand. The staff came to our home to pick up the bike, and the mechanic looked it over while discussing the needed work. We were told it would receive a Stage Two tune‑up, brake service, new brakes, new tires, and the upgraded kickstand. At that point, we felt good about the decision and trusted the shop. Unfortunately, the experience went downhill once the bike was returned. 1. The bike was not returned on time. Not a major issue by itself, but it was the first sign of problems. 2. The under‑mount glow light was missing. I watched the mechanic load the bike with the light still attached. He said he would look for it and get back to us, but he never followed up. It felt like he didn't care that a $40 accessory had disappeared. He didn't offer to replace it nor offer a credit for the missing item. 3. The brakes were unsafe. My son had to adjust them himself because they were not set correctly when the bike came back. They still continue to not work correctly. 4. The mechanic mentioned a missing washer for the light. This raised more questions about how the bike was handled. The light has since detached from the bike, so now we need to find a new screw and washer that will work with the bike. 5. The upgraded kickstand and chain issues. The mechanic recommended a stronger kickstand to support the bike's weight, but soon after, the kickstand has broken and the chain snapped, so now the bike became unusable. Now, only a month later, the bike can't even be ridden. The light fell off, the chain broke, and the brakes are still unsafe. After spending around $393, we're left with a bike in worse condition than before and no resolution from the shop. We genuinely wanted to support this business, but our experience was extremely disappointing, and we feel cheated out of both the money and the repairs we expected read more

If you need service Joe is a Master Mechanic, he can fix anything. Quite simply, THEE BEST BIKE SHOP EVER! I cannot imagine buying my first ever e-bike anywhere else. WOW!!! From start to finish, the customer service was over the top. After test rides, I ordered an Aventon Level 3. Monster Joe (absolute bike man extraordinaire!) had it assembled in record time. When I went back to pick up my new ride, Mark went sooooo far above and beyond to have me leave the happiest customer ever. He is the most patient and kind 'teacher' ever. Amazing service! Last year monster Joes bike service fixed my four-year-olds bicycle tire. Offered to pick it up. Took 1 day to get it back. At first, I was hesitant calling for a pickup bike service, but after a comfortable amount of talking to Mark I felt like I was ready to let them take my brand new e-bike in the box to be put together. You might think they do the bike service at your house, but they actually provide the extra service of picking it up and bringing it to their shop. Mark was very communicative, the bike came back super fast and I didn't have to worry about lugging the bike on my bike rack on my car. The treatment we received was top notch. I came across a minor issue, normal for new bikes, and Mark and Joe stopped by the house to diagnose and fix by the next day.
