I would have given them a five star, but there was a smaller gentleman there who was really rude. If it wasn't for Ben's excellent service I would have probably never come back to this place. He said he was "too busy" when I had already paid for the tire and installation.tonight a small bolt on a seat!! When I was a kid I used to do every work on my bike but I don't remember that simple stuff anymore. I guess he was he was racist to brown people because the whole time I was there he did absolutely nothing that's how small the fix was. He wasn't even working by the time Ben fixed the bike. A little advice if you want to do well in business customer service is the number one thing . Would have took him 5 mins I just didn't have the right tools since I haven't ridden bikes since I was a kid and I was fixing this bike for one of my many employees in the area. I bought this bike for her she only lives .6 miles away but it is so much more convenient especially in the heat. Oh well at least Ben stepped up without saying a word and made sure everything on the bike was tightened and in the right position. I would recommend requesting to only working for Ben especially if you are a different ethnicity. We wanted to get a new big girl bike for our daughter and we are Trek fans. I was happy to find that there was a store close to us. After helping the first customer, RJ greeted us and helped us select the right bike for her. She didn't like the red color so we decided to order the dark purple, which will take a week to be delivered to the store. After looking it up to put the order in, RJ tells us "hold on!" A few minutes later, he comes out with the box! Turns out they had it in the storage room! We came back at the end of the day and it was assembled and ready to roll! It was time to start looking for a new bike, so naturally I visited every bike store in the Sacramento area looking for my next ride. I was ready to move to the next level in my cycling and needed some guidance, it had been 10 years since my last bike purchase! Allow me to share my experience. Most bike shops didn't even acknowledge me, and when I ASKED for help they seemed annoyed that I'd ask so many questions and take their time. I knew what I wanted, a RODE bike and was ready to spend more than entry bike level. I was shown gravel bikes, mountain bikes and bikes way outside my spending limits. They didn't listen, or they didn't think I was serious about buying. Some shops did offer to order bikes that I could research and purchase on-line, they would bring in, and if I didn't like the test ride, return. Most would not allow more than 1-5 miles of test riding. This is NOT the case with Trek bicycle in Roseville. I visited the store more than 8 times, while continuing my research on components and what I wanted on my next bike. They were patient with me and the non-stop rain, waiting to test ride. RJ and Joe were very helpful walking me through their different models, and what would not only fit me well, but would meet my cycling needs. They allowed me to test ride where I like to cycle, they spent time with me teaching me about my bike and it's routine maintenance I should do to keep it humming. They offer EXCELLENT customer service and support for our cycling community. Trek was not my first choice of bikes, however, Trek's heritage, built in Wisconsin, USA, and it comes with a no hassle 30 day return policy, made me think why not take a look at the brand seriously. So what did I buy? A beautiful Domane SL 6 AXS with Carbon Wheels, red! The first few rides took a little getting used to, but know we are one, and ready for Adventure. Bought my Trek Checkpoint SL 7 here at the beginning of June, RJ and Joe were amazing! They helped me find exactly what I was looking for and got me set up with a full kit. This was my first time purchasing a gravel bike and they did not rush me at all. They made it a fun experience and were able to give me some tips and tricks to getting used to gravel riding. I was also excited to learn they now carry Rapha gear, as I had been eyeing that brand online. 10/10 recommend, checking out the Rapha pro team backpack and kits. The backpack was is sturdy enough to carry all my extra gear (including an extra water) and snacks but no heavier than a running vest. It was secure enough that it did not shift as I was riding. And for all my tall girls out there check out the Rapha bibs. I am 5"11 for reference and they fit like a glove. read more

I have been a Trek fan since I purchased my Trek 7000. Since then my family has purchased two other Trek bikes. We have many nice mom and pop small bike shops in the area. That being said, I was happy when a few of them last year became authorized Trek Dealerships. That Trek ensured that everyone who worked at the bike shops would still have a job. That brings me to this past weekends Trek experience. My wife has a nice spin bike for a different type of workout along with use during the winter months. She was interested in purchasing clip-in bike shoes so it was at that time that I discovered our local Trek Roseville location. As a side note, I drive by daily the nice Folsom Trek Dealership (both locations are very clean, organized, "WELL STOCKED", along with knowledgable and attentive staff). We went in and while my wife was looking at their good selections on bike shoes (being assisted by a very nice and patient staff member), I enjoyed window shopping their bike selection. Since my wife. purchased her Marlin 5 early last year, she has wanted me to purchase a newer bike also. Because my Trek 7000 still rides like the day I bought it (even after many, many, many miles of dirt riding), I have been very content with it. That being said I have always been interested in possibly purchasing a road bike or possibly another newer bike similar to my wife's bike. This is where speaking with RJ (manager of the Roseville location) he brought something to my attention, that there is also a class of Dual Sport bikes. Although I know that they are on the Trek website, I have never given much attention to them; always only looking at road or the dirt options. But looking at the Dual Sport 3 Gen 5 bike in person with RJ, now that was a good looking bike that would cross off all the boxes for me. Most importantly was that I could ride it very comfortably on pavement along with some now occasional dirt paths; and it was a Trek. But the selling point was when RJ had me ride it out in their parking lot. Sold. So on this day, I am an even more of a Trek Fan. My wife was able to find the perfect spin bike clip-in shoes that she was looking for and I was heading home with a "beautiful" Black Olive DS3 Gen5 bike. Everyone was happy. I still will be keeping my Trek 7000 and our Trek bike count is now four. Next spring we plan on picking up two Trek electric bikes. We have rented electric bikes a couple times; a whole new kind of stupid fun!!!
