steve- general manager and Ginny are running a first class show! Hard to find the kind of care and service these two provide amongst one of the most beautiful settings!

Everything about this place is superb. If you are upset about certain charges, you should be staying at the motel 6. For instance, valet was absolutely complementary, which is amazing. I tipped $10 but there's no surcharge.

Lovely spot for cocktails. They have a great view and the appetizers are imaginative. The place is a bit over the top but you know that going in. We had a nice time

This is definitely paradise. I love the Montage and have a visor to prove it! It's a gorgeous property and so huge and luxurious!!! It's remote and extremely expensive like $1800/night

Best experience I have ever had at any hotel ever. Not only was the room stunning, the staff helped make our trip absolutely wonderful! They were so friendly and accommodating. All of the people in the front were so welcoming and warm. Scott was amazing at helping us put our itinerary together. Polina at the bar/restaurant was an amazing server and just super kind and warm. She was one of the first people we interacted with when we arrived and she came with a lovely treat for my dog Elton. And throughout our stay, we came across her several times at the restaurant and she was just super awesome. The service was a bit slow for lunch at hazel hill upon arrival. (Polina was not our sever here) But nothing major and nothing that affected how I feel about this amazing hotel. Thank you to the staff for making our trip so memorable . I can't wait to come back.

Montage Scout Field Bar A beautiful location for shareable bites and views of the vineyards and Mount St. Helena. We ordered the Sonoma Burger-knights valley wagyu, short rib, black truffle, mckinley cheddar, tomato fondue, 'nduja 50, the Truffle fries bellwether pecorino, black truffle aioli -17, and espresso margaritas. An overall -welcoming atmosphere that features an expansive bar and gorgeous views.

We did not stay at the hotel, but we brunched at the delightful Hazel Hill. Both the food and setting were perfect, I can't wait to visit again. We called in the morning after a wedding, and managed to get a reservation for three on the patio. Gorgeous, well-maintained setting with sun-drenched seating, a lovely breeze and blooming flowers. Service is excellent. Coffee is dark and strong. Espresso is also tasty. The French Omelette was simple and delicious, but the secret surprise was the crisp, green salad on the side. Light and tasty dressing. We ordered more coffee and marinated in the warm sun. We did not dine inside this establishment, but the inside is beautiful with various elements. I imagine this is a lovely place to enjoy a Manhattan after dark,

Surrounded by rolling vineyards, the Montage is definitely the rare Sonoma wine country resort that perfectly channels its surroundings while offering all of the luxury resort trappings: not quite 5 stars, the service needs to be up a notch to claim that elite status. After getting off Highway 1 at the Dry Creek exit and wending along the loping Montage Way that leads to the property, the hotel is surrounded by planted vineyards. The style is modern, the landscaping goes heavy on oak and eucalyptus trees, rosemary, really great setting! With a bit of a wait, we were taken to our room. There are 130 guest rooms and suites set on vineyards and oak groves. They are like modern free standing bungalows, e property's pre-existing oak trees. The room is smaller than expected- maybe it is the type of room we got but also not the best designed. The best feature is the sliding doors and the expansive cantilevered patios with private fire pits. The view is breathtaking and is definitely the winner. Otherwise, the water pressure at the shower needs some major improvement. Poor area we went for a drink and the next day we still saw our towels and empty glasses. Is it a beautiful resort yes absolutely but there is room for improvement to make it a true 5 star.

Montage Healdsburg was a lovely place to spend a long weekend; however, it was exceedingly expensive after adding food/beverage/etc. consumed during your stay. That said, the staff was lovely: always friendly and ready to assist (including driving you to/from your "room"). Basics/amenities also generally exceeded expectations: - Bedside table on both sides of the bed with lamps and electrical/USB outlets, - Ample counter space in bathroom with hair dryer, shower cap, and other toiletries, - Vent fan in the bathroom and another in the toilet closet, - Outdoor shower and large soaking tub, - Private fire pit on balcony with two seating areas, - Complimentary coffee/tea and bottled water in room (water also available self-serve in the 24-hour fitness center--fruit infusion seemed to be different daily), - Fitness center with multiple cardio machines (stairclimbers, treadmills, ellipticals, Peloton and recumbent cycling machines), weight machines, weight benches, free weights/kettle bells, yoga mats, - Adults-only pool and cabanas were beautifully kept (sunscreen available poolside) and far enough away for the family-friendly pool noise not to permeate. The location is not walkable to convenience store/pharmacy/grocery store/cafes/restaurants/sightseeing, but there seemed to be some walking trails around the property (it was in the 100*Fs when we were there, so the pool was more inviting). Pet friendly: Dogs welcome.

Second time staying here and was just as amazing as the first. The staff here are AMAZING... literally blown away by their hospitality. We love Johnny, Jill and Christopher. Even though it rained, it still was magical and so relaxing.

Beautiful hotel with great views, rooms and restaurants. Very relaxing ambiance all around. All the employees are friendly and helpful. They welcome you with a smile and make sure you are satisfied with your visit. I would love to stay here in the summer months to enjoy the beautiful pool and maybe visit the spa. Enjoyed my time here relaxing and taking in the beautiful surroundings.

What a beautiful, peaceful and charming estate planted in the middle of a winery in Sonoma County. This is really a beautiful and breathtaking estate spanning over more than 258 acres. The setting is absolutely divine. It is also an original concept with luxurious bungalows-house perched on top of a hill with two swimming pools, hiking trails and much more. The rooms are perched in the trees almost like a tree house with a modern and sleek California style. Plenty of space with remarkably comfortable beds and a great terrace. The food at their main restaurant was also exquisite. So, I really don't understand how the rating is so low. We had some small incidents like the carts not picking you on time, or waiting for your car a long time. But, patience is a great virtue. The entire staff including concierge Andrea were absolutely delightful and always trying to deliver their very best! There is a lot to love here and we really appreciate Montage Healdsburg. We will be back!

We stayed here in April as my husband had a work retreat to attend. The grounds were beautiful and well maintained. Our deluxe forest king room was clean and spacious and had both an indoor and outdoor shower. The outdoor shower is a must use! The fire pit in our balcony was great to sit out at night with a glass of wine. Our room was one of the first rooms right on top of the hill so a quick walk to the main lobby and pool. They do have golf carts that can pick you up and take you around as well. All the employees were very friendly and helpful. You can tell this is a new establishment as some areas of the resort had subpar service. The pool next to the spa was great to sit out at and very tranquil. I personally did not go to the spa but 2 friends went and they were not impressed with the services they received and said it was very overpriced. The gym is small but the machines are up to date and modern. They even have a Peloton here! They had plenty of weights to work with and also private classes you can pay to take. For activities on the resort I played bocce ball which is located to the back of the restaurant. The bocce court was slightly lopsided and needs better borders on one side of the court. I also played pickleball which was enjoyable but way out in the open with minimal shade so be sure to bring a hat out there. There is a hiking trail on property as well. They also have bikes and electronic bikes for use. And I also saw archery on premises. Plenty of activities to explore! Secret tips that you may miss: - Check out the log nest for the honeybees, which is located out by the vineyard. You can see a swarm of them in there which is neat to see. - The hotel has a cute dog ambassador named Beau. I saw him one day in the lobby, greeting guests. - The burger at the pool is amazing! Try it out if you love burgers! Overall, this is a beautiful property with friendly employees but overpriced for what you get. Maybe in another few months, with adequate well-trained staff, it may be better.

The only disappointment was that one of the three riverside tents was not next to the other two, even though we had booked the tents in 1 reservation. I thought I had confirmed they were next to each other, but it did not work out that way. While we were at Wildhaven, we had horrible rainy weather. However, our family still had a blast! The rain didn't stop the kids from biking, scootering, fishing, etc. We made the best of it and everyone had a great time. The facilities were clean, the tents were spacious, the beds were very comfortable and the website accurately described all amenities. We paid extra for the early check in and it was worth it because it gave us more time to get settled in before heading to the river and maximizing our first day. I would recommend water shoes for adults and kids because the river is really rocky. We failed to bring water shoes and lost two pairs of sandals that floated down stream. We look forward to another trip at Wildhaven :)

This was our second stay at Wildhaven. If you had asked me after our first visit last fall whether…read moreI'd recommend this place, my answer would have been an emphatic yes. We loved it so much that we planned to make it an annual family tradition. Unfortunately, this trip completely changed my opinion. This time we booked one of the cabins instead of a tent. My reservation clearly stated there would be four guests, yet the cabin only had three pillows. My kids slept on the futon, and the blanket provided for them had obviously not been washed--it was covered in dog hair and goathead stickers. When I asked for extra pillows and blankets, I was told they didn't have any available. I ended up having to Instacart pillows and blankets on the second day because it was too late to get them the first night. My kids used my blanket that first night. I understand and appreciate that Wildhaven is dog-friendly, but I think there should either be designated pet-friendly cabins or a much more thorough cleaning process between guests. What if my children had severe dog allergies? That simply isn't acceptable. The campground was also completely booked, so I expected the shared facilities to be cleaned more frequently. Instead, the men's restroom was filthy by 7:00 p.m., and the cleaning log showed it hadn't been serviced since 4:19 p.m. The handwashing and dishwashing stations were also out of paper towels. The final disappointment was the wagon policy. Campers are encouraged to buy firewood on-site to help prevent the spread of invasive insects, which we happily did. However, we were told we had to pay to rent a wagon just to transport the firewood and ice to our cabin. Last fall, guests were allowed to use the wagons at no charge for this purpose. Charging extra for something that supports campground rules and conservation efforts felt frustrating and unnecessary. Wildhaven is still a beautiful property, and that's what makes this experience so disappointing. We truly wanted this to become a yearly family tradition, but after this visit, I don't think we'll be returning. I hope management addresses these issues because this place has so much potential, and our first experience showed just how great it can be.

The man can truly cook. We've tried a variety of his dishes, and each one shows such intention, from the flavor profiles to the textures; and everything is always beautifully presented. It never misses. His congee is absolutely to die for, and those thinly sliced pork pieces with crisped skin and tender, juicy meat are a standout every single time. Check out that pic of burger he made for us for burger week! You can really taste the quality, especially knowing he uses fresh vegetables straight from the garden on the property. That is farm-to-table at its finest. On one of our visits, we stayed in a suite above the restaurant, which made the whole experience even more special. It was so nice to head upstairs after dinner and fully relax in our own space. Our room was stocked with thoughtful treats upon arrival, and we had access to the most beautiful private gym. The pool area is stunning, and we loved riding the bikes they provide to explore the property. I would absolutely stay here again. Everywhere you go, there's curated art to enjoy, which adds such a unique and elevated touch. They also host special events throughout the year. We especially love their summer movie nights, lounging on the lawn with fresh popcorn, wine, and Red Vines is such a vibe. All in all, our experience started with the restaurant and kept us coming back for more. It's made even more special by the team, who consistently make us feel so welcomed every time we visit. Thank you for always spoiling us, Chef. We are so grateful for you. Your talent and skill truly shine, and The Madrona is lucky to have you. See you again soon!

The friendly employee told us a bit about the hotel as we were checked in and we got our keys. Our room was facing the interior courtyard as most of the rooms here are. We had a gas fireplace in the room which would come in handy during the cooler times of the year. We also had a little balcony which was great. I thought it might be a little noisy during the day or at night with people in the courtyard down below but it really wasn't an issue. The room had a nice clean bathroom with a fairly large shower. Double sinks as well which is always nice. The bed was comfortable, however when we checked in there was a large tear in one of the bed sheets. I called down to get it replaced, unfortunately housekeeping had already gone home. The front desk person offered to change the sheets for us, but we did that ourselves. The hotel has some wine tasting nights, though I'm not really sure how consistent they are. We didn't partake, but it may be available. They do have self service laundry available at the sister hotel which is right across the parking lot. The detergent is sold in a vending machine near the laundry room. There is lots of parking (you need a tag displayed in your car) and you can access the rooms either by stairs or elevator. Just a little ways down from the hotel you'll find a great trail that goes into town along a little stream which I really enjoyed. I enjoyed our stay at The Lodge and would recommend it. But he definitely doesn't bring the brand any good recognition on service or professionalism. My stay: I am a minority but don't look at myself that way but obviously Elliot did. He seemed to be a West County Boy (west Sonoma County) lacquered in something other than kindness. He intentionally denied my checkin as a Diamond Member and never acknowledged me as such. I know the line in Hilton: " Thank You For being a Diamond Member....". Fast forward to 5 pm. Elliot still not letting me check in. I'm waiting in the lobby being super quiet and obviously aware of his tactics. Another person, female, comes by and ask me if the could help. I say yes I'm trying to check in. She says "Yes there are other rooms available would you like to check in". Of course I quickly take her offer and check in. I ask the housekeeping, where do you get ice? She says the front desk. I go back and guess who is there? Yup Elliot He says "OH yeah I will get you ice " . He goes around the front desk so I cannot see him. I hear him grunt out a big loogie as he cleared his throat rummaging with the ice scooper. Well at that point, I drive to the store to buy my own ice. True story The other thing which was also very odd about this Tapestry Hilton were the holes in the towels. As ai waiting in the pool area, several other guests called to complain about holes in all the towels at the pool. Later once I entered my room, I noticed the same thing. All of the bath large towels had holes. Odd... And the phish is walking way far away from West County Elliot.....

The rooms are comfortable, the shower-heads are strong, the beds are fluffy, just charm, charm, charm in every corner you look! I love the soaps and the cookies at turn down! Why can't the big hotels do this??? , Thanks for a great stay!

We stayed at farmhouse inn for a birthday celebration. Overall things went well. There were a few…read morepros and cons. To leave on a positive note I will end with the pros. Cons: 1. Sound: We had one of the front rooms and the busy road noise is loud. Also, we could hear everything from our neighbor including them snoring. 2. I asked for an amenity for the birthday celebration and we were promised something waiting. I had to ask again and we ended up with two pieces of chocolate. I've paid a lot less for hotels that have included way better birthday amenities. 3. The room is nice but nothing exceptional. 4. Smores hour is cute but the smores are definitely stale. 5. I dropped something behind the tub and it was clear things had not been cleaned back there. Everything else was very clean, and that is important to me. 6. The restaurant is overrated. Go to other spots for the vibe and food. The pros: 1. I absolutely love the connections that this hotel has to wineries and wine tasting. We would come back just for this as staying at farmhouse gets you exceptional service at the partner wineries. This is what makes it special! 2. The wine happy hour hosts were also great. Special shoutout to freeman who was extra sweet to us. 3. Everyone is very nice and helpful. The service really stands out and brings this hotel up to 4 stars. 4. The lobby cat is very cute!
