I'm going to start by saying that they don't give refunds on ANYTHING you buy in person. They don't tell you this upfront and will point at a little tiny sign near the register that you cannot see if you are purchasing at the desk (that doesn't have a sign) so make sure you are 100% sold on the things you purchase. I graduated with my Master's degree and for a present, my hubby bought me a "The Origin Meisterstück Solitare LeGrand", which is a beautiful, but also very expensive pen. We left, and had them mail it to us, but while we were waiting for it to come in, I found the pen I really, really, really wanted (homage to Queen Victoria) so he bought me that one instead. (This is a numbered, collectible, patron of the art pen that this store doesn't have. It also comes in a beautiful wood box, as opposed to the ripped paper thing they put the pen from this store in.) Anywho, we didn't even open the box to the one that was delivered to us, and went back four days after we purchased it in store to return it, (took a little time because of the shipping timeframe) but when we got there, four of the salespeople immediately started jumping down our throats telling us that they won't take it back. They formed a surly, semi-circle wall around us parroting each other that only "do credits. Not refunds." Unfortunately, there is nothing worth $3000+ that either of us want from there right now. My husband already bought me the pen I wanted, and nothing appeals to me at the moment, so why pressure a paying customer to buy something they don't want? No means no, bro! I noticed that someone left a review about being treated badly based on their appearance, and I honestly felt the same way. It felt like we were being treated like we were criminals because we don't look like the kinds of customers they want or people who normally go in to browse. We are Native Hawaiians and walked in wearing an aloha shirt and a cute, short dress. (Feel free to use your imagination as to who wore what.) Sure, we didn't walk in wearing suits and ties or ball gowns but we weren't wearing shabby clothes either. So while we were calmly explaining to them that we wanted to return the pen we bought, a salesman stood to my right and close to the doorway and stared me down like I was going to smash glass displays, loot the place and run out the door. And then the manager opened the SEALED shipping box to "inspect it" even going so far as to unscrew it. Mind you, it NEVER came out of the unopened box that THEY taped shut and sent to us. He unsealed everything, opened the box that we never touched, and unscrewed the pen turning it this way and that. This went on for a good 10 minutes, with him acting like we used it to scribble on walls before passing it around so the whole world could sample it or something, when we clearly told them time and time again that it was unused, SEALED, and never left the box from the time we received it to the time we went in their store. Like I said, that manager is the only one who opened and unpacked it, yet told my husband he "had to" do his "due diligence." Mind you, we are both college graduates and have never stolen anything in our lives and yet they were treating us like we were lying criminals. It was so bizarre to be treated that way by anyone, especially by what I'm assuming are hourly employees being paid commissions for their sales. I don't want to say the r word, but they treated us with bigotry and contempt. Anyway. We got our money back after a long while, and will never shop at this store again. You should think twice about purchasing anything from this store too, if you're in the market for $3000+ pens or whatever, it might be better to go in, feel it and buy it online. Plus, If you order it from their online store, you can return it without hassles. Weird policy but it is what it is. You could save yourself a lot of time and aggravation ordering what you want from their website. Just sayin'. read more

Yesterday, I went into Mont Blanc at the Forum shops in Las Vegas. for information about my Mont Blanc pen refills. I Was greeted by David and Ryan. I had to come back the next day which was today. I went back and spoke with Ryan, I was treated Professionally and very kind. Plus he remembered me.. I was in Las Vegas last weekend (Saturday, June 10th) and stopped by Montblanc to add another writing instrument to my collection. I was helped by Donald (who as also helped me in the past). I selected the John F. Kennedy Special Edition Fountain Pen. Commemorating one of the most revered figures of modern history, the Special Edition John F. Kennedy makes symbolic references to the life of J.F. Kennedy in subtle design details. The blue precious resin refers to both Kennedy's time in the U.S. Navy and the famous Ivy League style. His initials "JFK" are engraved on the platinum-coated clip, and the three platinum-coated cap rings stand for Kennedy's three brothers. In a tribute to the national hopes and dreams embodied in Kennedy's pet project, the Apollo space program, the handcrafted 14K gold nib is engraved with the lunar module that landed on the moon in 1969. I am currently in Las Vegas and decided to add another luxury watch to my collection. I walked into the Montblanc store at 8:40 pm ( 20 minutes before closing) and was promptly greeted with a " We are closing soon, please come back tomorrow". My wife and I are here celebrating our anniversary and prior to going into the MB store, I purchased over 5K in jewelry for her at her favorite Hawaiian store. It was my turn to buy a watch. My budget for the watch was 10K, a nice commission for any pleasant well trained salesperson. My wife & I like to wear " regular guy " clothes & not flaunt our purchasing power. Maybe the salesperson didn't like my cargo shorts & Hawaiian shirt ? Maybe he didn't think I could afford anything ? Anyway, it is now tomorrow , and I took his advice and came back ----- to the Tag Heuer store where I had already bought a watch 2 days ago. My salesman was very happy to see me & I am sure he is enjoying his commission on the $8500 watch I just purchased. 2 watch sales in 4 days is what you get when you treat people with respect , no matter how they are dressed. Montblanc needs to do some serious sales training and basics on how to treat customers.....You never know who is walking thru your door! read more

Despite my appearance (had on tights, a red t-shirt, and slippers), the staff acknowledged and treated me with respect and professionalism. I had stopped by Montblanc after a yoga session to pick up my bf's Christmas gift. I was immediately greeted and the gentleman helped me to chose the perfect wallet. Also, they do gift wrap and I was very happy with how the gift looked. I will definitely return for more Montblanc items. Always have been impressed with their fountain pens, but was here treating myself to a wallet, though not the gigantic ones, one more for traveling. David's really helpful--allowed me to touch and feel over 6 different ones and the nice thing about these higher-end retailers, compared to a Gap (which is an unfair comparison but i digress), they sure know their stuff. One major thing I learned is their leather is much different from Louis Vutton: MB is 100% all leather, except for their famous plastic logo ;) Much like how beef meat gets rated Triple A, MB has their own high standards for selecting their cows. Poor cows. Anyways, didn't end up buying one simply wasn't a design that floored me, some were either either too small or too big. read more

Love this place. I'm a pen guy, so it was awesome to visit this a Mont Blanc store. I'm a younger guy and wasn't dressed like the type of person who was ready to drop $600+ on a pen. I told the employee right off the bat that I wasn't going to purchase a Mont Blanc, but I hope to in the next few years. Instead of brushing me off, I was still treated like a valued customer and let me hold a Starwalker, a 149, and write a MB 146 Fountain Pen. Awesome store, and this experience made me want to own a Mont Blanc that much more. read more

This place is just oozing finesse and class. Well it better since the offerings of pens, leather goods, briefcases are in the stratosphere (no pun intended, this was inside Caesar's Palace). I just enjoy looking at the $1,899 triple-gusset black briefcases. I use a Hartmann, which is a great American brand, sturdy as heck, but I have not graduated to the effortless lines of a Mont Blanc, made in Germany briefcase. Will 2016 be the year? Or, will I win the Lotto in 2016, because frankly and realistically, while I can afford such a briefcase my cheap, er, practical side will not allow such a purchase. Why? Let's say I'm a man, and real men do not spend $2,000 on a bag. I mean, I'm not that of a real man who can make that leap. I'd rather save such funds for a return to Las Vegas ASAP. Truly, I enjoy looking at the pens. The only MontBlanc writing piece I have is a W.A. Mozart pencil. A far cry from the Alexander von Humboldt pen I have been wishing for, for a decade now. But again, I'd rather come back to Vegas often than have a pen or a briefcase I will hardly use. As for the staff: always courteous, always professional. Always they do their best, whether I am wearing my $110 Invicta Submariner-homage watch or a priceless, old, 1971 Rolex GMT, priceless, because my dear old dad gave it to me. read more

They are present without being "pushy" and will work with you to find the ideal pen you are looking for. I thought I wanted the LeGrand rollerball, but decided the next day that I wanted the Signature for Good LeGrand ballpoint. I took it back and exchanged it with absolutely no problem at all.
