BEWARE! I haven't been screwed in a very long time and I would never expect it from a purported "high end" retailer. Well, here I am, screwed. A couple of days before Christmas I bought a Mont Blanc pen for $1,200. I asked the lady if it could be returned and she said "20 days". What she did not mention, but certainly did not forget is that you can only return for an exchange or store credit. It says it in a little tiny sign under the register and in fine print on the printed receipt which no one looks at. What she said in her response to my question about their return policy is "20 days", period. Her response was both deceptive and fraudulent. I am now stuck with this ridiculous pen, sold by a company that clearly has no faith in their products. I cannot imagine a retailer anywhere without a reasonable return policy. I thought 20 days was overly strict, but would never, ever have purchased anything as a Christmas gift without a full refund policy. Every time I see their brand, I will be sure to find a good place to spit. This business and their brand disgust me. read more

This is a great little Mont Blanc! As far as Mont Blanc stores go in size this is easily one of the smallest I've been to, but I was wildly impressed with the salespeople. I wasn't here for a pen, but specifically for inks and paper, and they treated me with the same level of service as if I were going to buy a pen. They made sure I saw everything I wanted, showed me the various inks, and did not rush me whatsoever. As people came into the store salespeople in the back would immediately come out to help them. No one waited for assistance and everyone was greeted upon entry. They don't have the largest selection due to size constraints but they are very helpful. I left glad that I stopped in. read more

Saw what I thought was a Montblanc rollerball pen at a second-hand seller. It had all the hallmarks of a Montblanc, but the resin color wasn't right. I bought the pen and took it straight to the Montblanc Boutique in Fashion Square. I walked in and told the lady I had two questions. The second question was entirely reliant on the reply I got to the first question. Question #1: Is this rollerball pen a genuine Montblanc? Question #2: Do you have any blue refills? The lady, McKenzie, was friendly, pleasant and knew her stuff. She examined the pen with a loop and pronounced it genuine. She knew that it was from the "Bordeaux Collection" that hadn't been offered in a number of years. She was able to tell me the approximate age of the pen by examining the hallmarks (it was marked as "W Germany" as opposed to today's "Germany"). Finally, she told me I made a good deal. The Montblanc Boutique had blue rollerball refills in stock. For McKenzie's expertise, I was more than happy to spend the extra couple of bucks more than I would have paid for the same refill at a discount office supply store. McKenzie, thank you. read more

I drove a long way to come to this store only to be met with a velvet rope keeping me out if I did not have a mask on. Going on three years this should not be a consideration, especially for the vaccinated. Some will say this is my problem. That is fine. But for me, this is Montblanc's problem. Going into their store, spending my money on a 149, is what they want from customers. I do not have to go into their store. I will purchase a Visconti instead. For Father's Day I received an engraved Mont Blanc pen. I was excited as I open the beautiful packaging and admired the instrument. This was a great gift for the dad who has most everything he wants and needs. My 14 year old daughter and my mother who orchestrated the purchase definitely have great taste. My experience writing with the pen was disappointing as the fine point skipped which proved challenging. I quickly focused on the beautiful thought and then took my prized gift to the Scottsdale, AZ store to hopefully have to diagnosed and repaired. A few days later on June 21st I arrived at the Fashion Square store only to find them closed for remodeling. After a quick look in the door I was greeted by and employee who let me know the store was closed for the day and requested I come back tomorrow. After sharing my story about the beautiful Father's day gift and inability to travel back anytime soon he took my receipt and offered to send me a new ink cartridge in the mail letting me know that sometimes the ink dries out when not used and since my present was ordered online he could not guarantee how long my ink had been in the shipping fulfillment center. I thanked him and went about my day. A week later an ink cartridge was mailed to me with a hand written letter apologizing for the old ink and requesting that I give the enclosed cartridge a try. Unfortunately the new cartridge was not in a box and was damaged in the US Post Office sorting machines so once again I focused on the great thought and not the poor execution. A few days later on July 1st I headed back to the store with the handwritten letter, envelope, broken ink cartridge, my engraved pen and my original receipt. Today my sales representative was Lashley 304767. Lashley, who was not at all interested my my journey to find a smooth writing pen over the last 2 weeks, told me 3 times that even the slightest drop of a Mont Blanc pen from a few inches over a surface could damage a roller ball causing a pen to write like me. After the 3rd reference to operator negligence I kindly told him that my pen had not been used yet since it was not rolling and writing as expected. Lashley then added a new blue ink roller ball for me to test in my pen. (Apparently there is a US shortage of black Mont Blanc ink this summer so blue was the closest option to black available. After successfully testing the new ink cartridge and learning I needed to check back in a month or two for black ink I began to pack up my pen so I could head for home. Lashley reminded me that I was in possession of a store owned pen cartridge and that I needed to purchase it or give it back to him. To my surprise, even though I received a free black cartridge that was broken in by the US Mail, now I needed to pay $18.35 for a blue ink cartridge. I suggested that the blue cartridge be give to me for free since my $500 pen was only two weeks old and had not ever written correctly. Lashley said he did not have that authority and quickly went in the back room for a private conversation with his manager. To my disappointment, he returned to request my form or payment. After the transaction was complete Lashley provided me with another tip about not dropping my pen and I let him know that I would not be purchasing any more goods from his store again. Thankfully, Amazon Prime delivered two new Official Mont Blanc black medium roller ball cartridges in two days for the low, low cost of $17.92, $0.43 cheaper than the out of stock retail price available to me sometime late in August, early September. Thank you Amazon for filling the gap where Mont Blanc - Scottsdale Fashion Square could not. Now I am writing in style with both blue and black options. Cheers, read more

Very disappointing experience. I received a $400 pen as a gift. It feel off night table 2 1/2 feet And cracked the resin (plastic ) near the tip. A $400 pen shouldn't crack from simply being dropped. Our salesperson Kenneth was nice, pleasant and very efficient. I came in specifically for one of their pens, and with Kenneth's help, had one picked out quickly. I had it engraved, which took about 20 minutes or less, and as he was ringing up my purchase, he offered to have it gift wrapped. I declined since the gift is for a guy, and you know with guys the little black Montblanc bag that the store puts the purchase in is good enough. These pens are gorgeous but very expensive, (alot more than my IPad, which is more useful than this pen, but hey, its like a girl with a Tiffany item) so I hope the receiver of the gift wears it around his neck like a pendant. So with my little black Montblanc bag I walked away very happy with my purchase and even more pleased with the service I received. read more

I purchased a pair of Sun Glasses from Mont Blanc in South Africa. When putting them on the lens popped out a few weeks later. I went to the Scottsdale Fashion Square mall store to get them fixed. They didn't have the parts to fix them at the store and I was leaving for Vegas later that day. To my surprise they replaced my Montevideo glasses on the spot and offered a very upscale service... My husband bought me a leather daytimer for Christmas. I use my iPhone for appointments so wanted to return the item. The item was purchased with cash, never used and had the receipt in box. The store, in Fashion Square, refused to refund our money. They would only do a store credit. This doesn't even comply with the return policy stated on line. I feel like they held us hostage. In the end, I did not get a $500 gift purchased for me or the cash. My husband was forced to pick something out for himself. Do not ever buy a gift here! read more

Very bad experience! Bad return policy! They keep your money and give you receipt which chances are you'll lose it.
